Check in was amazing! After that it kinda went down hill. We have stayed at this hotel several times for the pool and breakfast. But they recently made some upgrades that really downgraded in my opinion. Breakfast used to be amazing with waffles, eggs, bacon to now some pre bagged not so good food that no kids wanted to eat. The new breakfast area has way to high tables for people with kids so had to go back to our room to eat bc the low tables were taken. Hot tub was not working and when I checked out I was charged twice for my room. We usually stay 2 times a year for activities in Morgantown but will be finding a new hotel with better breakfast and working hot tub

The room was very clean but the elevator and windows were very dirty. Room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And the staff was amazing

The property was excellent. Nice big room, very clean, friendly people. It's close to I-68. Nearby businesses are mostly fast food types. The hotel's breakfast was alright, but the only hot items were pre-packaged.

It was perfect for what we needed. Moved our son into WVU and saw lots of other families there as well.

The property is undergoing renovation (which I didnt know). It took 15 minutes for the front desk clerk to retun to desk because he was "helping" maintainence on another floor. Breakfast had limited options. Staff when we arrived were unfriendly. The door to the bathroom took a lot of maneuvering to get shut. We did lije that the suite was larger than we expected. This was my 3rd stay in this hotel and probably my last.

Other than getting stuck on the elevator, it was a nice room. Attendant was nice and helpful. Breakfast wasn't so good.

There were random construction workers sitting in a truck smoking weed in the back lot. While looking for the entrance a woman came up to us looking for money. The lobby was under construction and it wasn’t clear where to enter. Did not feel safe, left and went up to Hampton Inn.

Carla greeted us and checked us in! She was very polite, courteous and friendly to deal with. Our room was quiet even with some upgrades to the property ongoing! Thank you to all your staff!

Large room, comfy, equipped very well, everything you expect, and a nice breakfast for us. Since I have mobility issues, it did need a grab bar on the wall of the shower. We stayed when the lobby was being remodeled, BUT I count that as not important in the rating.

We were not impressed when we drove up and saw there was construction going on at the hotel. Went to check in and the entire lobby was under construction with dust everywhere. You could breathe it in. Clara checked us in. We got to the room and the AC wasn’t working. I called to talk with Clara and she said she would be right down to look at it. Waited over 10 minutes before I went to look for her. Waited for her in the lobby for another 5 minutes. She finally arrived off of a smoke break. Clara was able to fix the issue with the AC and we had a comfortable night. There should be a construction warning before booking!

The hotel lobby is under construction. The junior suite was very spacious and bedding was comfortable. The bathroom smelled like mildew. It is surprising that a this hotel chain still uses shower curtains with a bath tub. The inside of the shower curtain has mold at the bottom, thus explaining the smell. Breakfast was served in a meeting room, not too much to choose from.

The hotel lobby and breakfast area was under construction and we didn't know about it until we got there to check in. The breakfast was moved to two conference rooms and didn't have a working waffle maker, which is our kids favorite part of the breakfast.

Very nice room, a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Had a lot of updated features like a dimmer switch above the bed. Bed was super comfortable, towels were soft. Area around the hotel felt safe and was easy to find. Would definitely stay here again and recommend. Only downside was that it did not appear that the bathroom floor had been cleaned at all, lots of hairs and debris.

We were charged through Expedia for this booking AND through the hotel, so we paid double. I have been unable get a refund for the second charge because there was not a manager on site at checkout or when I have called. It’s on me to keep calling and hoping I can speak with someone as no one offers to have a manager call me back.

I requested an early check-in. When I got there they were very rude. When I explained why I had requested and needed the early check-in they simply did not care and was very rude. I was given an room but I had to fight for it.

I can tell the property was recently renovated. It looks very nice, but there were a few things that bothered me. We only stayed one night so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Firstly, our bathroom door did not close. It was missing the striker plate. Several of our power receptacles did not work. It was a challenge finding a place to charge our phones. Also the layout of the room was strange and the TV was placed in such a way that no one could really comfortably watch it. The luggage trolley had a bum wheel which made it difficult to move our stuff. The pool was nice and breakfast was excellent. Checking in was quick and easy.

They are trying to reach a three star level with a recent appearance upgrades, but a number of small things add up to it being more of a mid-two star property.

Our television did not work, so they immediately moved us rooms. Not far from original. Closer was large in the next room, walk in with an ironing board and iron! Very nice.
