We had a great time. Plus: a little ways away from the hustle and bustle, beautiful trails and waterfront area, great breakfast, our unit had mini kitchen so we could save $$ and have pizza in room. Negative: had a downstairs unit and either people above us were stomping (which I doubt) or there is poor sound insulation between floors. We went off season and it was great. I'd be more concerned during peak on if the place gets crowded. It's like a mini resort with apartments and cabins spread throughout

4 miles of walking trails easily marked, bikes and kayaks to use. They also have a tennis court. Very quiet and tranquil in some areas. And their Breakfast is awesome.

It's going to be difficult to summarize just how good this facility is with one short paragraph. The rooms are fantastic. The way the compound is laid out along the coast amongst the forrest is really amazing. The landscaping was phenomenal, the food was great, the view from the beach/dock/etc was awesome. I really don't know how you could make this place any better. There's a ton to offer for all ages and interests at this Lodge...including free bicycles & kayaks. The rooms were fully stocked with just about anything you could want. The pillows on the bed were so comfortable, I fell asleep watching TV. The staff were super friendly and accommodating....I've stayed in Door County every Fall for the past several years. This was by far my favorite stay. Had I known it was going to be this great I would have stayed longer.

Wonderful grounds by Lake Michigan with some retro touches. Beautiful landscaping filled with flowers and autumn decor. Wish they were open through Christmas.

Beautiful surroundings hugel lodge with a multitude of activities. Room was outstanding.bed was very comfortable with excellent pillows. Bathroom was great huge shower. Staff was vey helpful.

An absolutely delightful visit. Going off season was really nice as we felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. It's beautiful and located perfectly for visiting multiple towns for dinner and biking. Customer service was TOP NOTCH!

Loved the grounds, ease of using kayaks, very nice pool & pool deck as well as great breakfast! Outstanding views. Really liked trailside one bedroom but would recommend real plates and forks, knives & spoons.

WOOOOOOOW. The property is absolutely stunning, the staff are all friendly, the food was excellent, and you can’t beat the view. What a phenomenal little resort! My partner and I were pinching ourselves the whole week that we got to experience sooo much for the price tag. 12/10

Area was pretty. Rooms in motel could be updated. Staff was excellent. If weather was warm and beautiful it would have been excellent stay.

We were only able to stay one night, however wished we could stay longer. Loved this place! Beautiful property, quiet, relaxing and great amenities. I loved the feeling I got when there, very relaxing. Spent the afternoon at the beach and rode bikes around the property. Staff was friendly, not forced friendly, comfortable friendly. Our cabin was amazing. The view was spectacular! The cabin was perfect, very clean, great size and had everything we needed. We will be back again soon!

Staff overall were helpful, friendly and excellent. Daily breakfast with homemade pastries and locally grown cherries was top notch. The grounds and facilities were well kept and it was quiet. We will be going back again,

Loved the groud facility. Beautiful restaurant with top deck and sunset view. Everything was perfect. Having Kayacks, paddle boards, bikes was a bonus.

If you are a nature lover and looking for a place to stay, Gordon Lodge is a perfect place for you. It was a one night stay for a day and half trip to Door County. The only negative comment was the bed wasn’t that comfortable and found a strand of gray hair on top of our blanket. I would rate it as 3 stars because it was close to nature and the complimentary breakfast was great.

Gordon Lodge really dropped the ball on my stay. The shower in my room did not work - at all. I told the cleaning crew and they passed on the word. Two essential reasons I stay at a hotel are bed and shower. Gordon Lodge has not contacted me regarding the matter. Otherwise, Gordon Lodge is remarkably nice. However, I will not stay there again.

I like the way the road is full of trees but the most exciting part was that the property is in front of a beautiful lake full of tranquility and the property is very nice

Our kids booked us a stay here for our 30th wedding anniversary and it certainly did not disappoint! Enjoyed being on the quiet side of Door County!!! Every employee that we encountered was very friendly and helpful!!! The rooms were very nice and the bed was comfortable! Loved having our own patio to sit out on and overlook the water -absolutely gorgeous views!!! The pool was nice and they offer so many things for you to do (kayaking, paddleboarding, cornhole, bicycles, etc). The breakfast buffet was more than we had expected and was very good! My only regret is that we did not have enough time!! We will definitely be back .....

Great place for a relaxing vacation. Quiet and clean, only thing we felt was inferior was the bathroom was small, without shelves or place for toiletries.
