My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during our week-long tour of the coast of Maine. It’s a lovely old home with friendly, helpful staff. The lobby and common areas are beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast and afternoon cookies amazing! Of course, it is an old house. Our room was small and the bathroom even smaller. Floors creaked and the AC was an old window unit but it was charming and just what we expected from a B+B!

The young man at the check in desk was very friendly, I am a light sleeper so I asked and he moved us to a back room away from the main road. I think our original room might have been a bit bigger but our room was very quiet. The breakfast was okay but I was hoping for more of a B&B breakfast, the cookies on the counter were a nice touch in the afternoon. The walk to downtown Camden was nice walk.

The location was great, just a quick walk to town. The breakfast was also excellent and loved the common spaces to enjoy some morning coffee or an evening drink by the firepit.

Great location. Lots of cozy places to hang out on our rainy day. Loved the porch and rockers. Employees were very hospitable. This is an really nice Inn but needs some TLC. Nice rooms but the bathroom was in need of deep cleaning (baseboards in particular). There was a mildewy smell in our bathroom. I asked for a new shower curtain and the host responded quickly. However, I think the room just needed a really deep clean. Attention to cleaning hall rugs, etc. would go a long way in my opinion. Although I think it needed some work, I would still recommend the Inn as it is very quaint and has lots of history.

Great stay. Huge open common areas for breakfast to sit around. Breakfast was great! Small plates but delicious. Wish they had a weeklong variety, because we got the same breakfast the last morning as the first. We had the suite, and it was still small. But overall our stay was great!!

It was a great location and breakfast was wonderful.

Desk people were totally indifferent and unable or pained to smile or show any enthusiasm. Other than that the hotel was good.

Very nice place. The room was smaller but very comfortable. Breakfast was amazingly healthy and delicious. Not your ordinary type breakfast. Front porch with rocking chairs is very cool. 15 minute walking distance to downtown has many inns along the way that are very well kept.

An old building, but beautiful and very nicely decorated. Room was small but cozy with a big bathroom. Very comfortable and the sitting areas were wonderful for relaxing and reading in the rain. The breakfast offered is on the skimpy side, but was nicely prepared.

Great location, nice walk to town. The hotel was nicest nice, but the room was disappointing. The bathroom was too small and the toilet was only 4” from the wall. Not what I expected for the price/

Attractive and inventive re-modeling featuring contemporary furnishings and artwork. Clean, modern period-styled bath. Beautiful grounds with comfortable seating areas and delicious breakfast pastries featured as part of a generous morning meal. We would return.

Whitehall has beautiful decor and great service. I was traveling for work and they were nice enough to make me a to go breakfast. Love this place.

Great location, nicely appointed rooms with bathrobes and bottled water and wonderful breakfast. Walkable to town and lovely property. Rooms are quiet but there is a lot of traffic on the road when sitting outside. Would definitely stay here again.

Very cute decor, soft comfy beds/linens. Liked the upper end Continental breakfast and warm cookies at night. Fire pit and porch were nice for ending the day.

Beautifully renovated old inn with great service and amazing breakfast

What a treasure! We could not have selected better accommodations. The seating areas were so comfortable and the dining hall perfect for our evening card games. The rooms were comfortable and clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly. I loved that there was coffee in the lobby and the breakfast was first rate. I definately recommend this place. It's just so charming.

Upon arriving at Whitehall, we were not satisfied with our room as it was extremely musty and damp. We figured this was just typical of the area as the inns are old & it’s so close to the water, so we stuck it out for a night but due to health conditions could not continue sleeping in a musty room. On day 2 we asked the front desk if we could possibly switch rooms and they were so accommodating, made sure we got an even nicer room, at no charge, which was beautiful, very clean and absolutely no dampness. They were so apologetic, even offered us a bottle of wine for the trouble. The property is gorgeous, parking is convenient, and the street it’s on is so beautiful filled with old inns. The location is ideal, it’s a very quick 2 minute drive into the Main Street in Camden, and the same to Sea Street where other restaurants & bars are located. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. I would absolutely recommend staying at Whitehall.

The White Hall was an average stay. Lacked the charm and customer service of other inns in the area and it was obvious it is part of a chain of hotels. Upon arrival at 2:15 pm after driving with my elderly mother for 4 hours I inquired about check in and was greeted with a sharp ‘it’s a little early’ from the young man with glasses. I understand check in time policies but a response of ‘check in time is 4pm, we are happy to have you wait in one of our common areas or you may park in our lot and explore the town’ would have been a much nicer welcome. Btw both of our rooms were ready after he pushed us off to his colleague to check us in, she was kinder but not overly friendly. Leah who was working later in the evening was helpful and kind. The ac units are very loud as well as the road noise rooms facing the building. My mother’s rooms was on the ground floor facing the maintenance facility, smelled musty and window screens were dirty and covered with spider webs. She wouldn’t even open her shades. The young gentleman servicing housekeeping was friendly and helpful

Brought back memories of another era. Staff was excellent friendly and helpful, bed comfortable,plenty of outdoor seating. Breakfasts were fine. Place is old but well-maintained. Would be better with more people milling about. Close drive to Camden for sightseeing, shopping,eating.

Our first-floor room smelled of mold. Inn had deployed a dehumidifier which was auto-shut-off upon arrival due its tank being full (our check-in was delayed because the room was being "prepped!"). We emptied the tank, and the dehumidifier ran all the time we were there. No effect on the room smell. We checked out the next morning as the smell made us ill.

Whitehall was a great base for exploring the Maine coast with lots of nice seating areas when you want to take a break from exploring the Maine coast.

This inn is adorable. Our room wasn't big, which we knew going in, but the beds were comfortable, like I was at home in my own bed. Breakfast was included and delicious. Definitely want to come back and spend more time in both the Inn and the town.

Beautiful, kind people, nice location - close to downtown Camden, but not in the busy and congested area.
