Very nice hotel close to all the squares snd shops/restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. Nice selection of food for breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

Can’t fault it. Modern without being the least bit corporate; beautifully decorated, with being over the top. Helpful staff. Lovely, spacious, clean, beautifully appointed room with comfortable bed and quality linen. Plenty of plug sockets. Good wi-fi. Modern bathroom with amazing walk-in shower. Great breakfast- for all tastes and appetites - included in the price. The only drawback is the parking - an underground car park about a five minute walk away and €25 per night. Unavoidable I think, given its location in the old town.

Really nice hotel in excellent location in a quiet street just off the main square. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped though bathroom was very small and seperate toilet was inconvenient. Included breakfast was truly excellent

Hotel Rubens is a beautiful little oasis from the bustle of Grote Markt. Our room was on the ground floor and had a private patio space which was quite enjoyable. Location was ideal as we walk everywhere and the hotel is located close to all amenities. There is a small restaurant directly across from the front entrance that has great sharing plates and amazing ice cream! Extra thanks to the staff for finding my husband's forgotten glasses and arranging them to be shipped to another location for us.

The Rubens was a most fantastic find, within a very quick walking distance of bars, restaurants, Cathedral etc.
Our room was spotlessly clean, and had a beautiful terrace.
There isn't a bar as such in the hotel, but an 'honesty bar', with cold beers, wine, champagne and soft drinks tht you declare on checkout. An ice machine was a welcome addition on a very warm night.
Parking was in a private garage a few streets away, but the hotel were happy for us to drop our luggage.
We are already makimg plans to return - one night was not enough!

The staff was super nice and helpful. They even had umbrellas for us to use as it was pouring the rain when we got there. Breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again. Room was very big.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars to the front desk staff. They were so helpful giving easy directions to grocery stores, train station, best bus stop to the airport etc.

This property has an excellent location for visiting Antwerp. Our room was #10 on the ground level with a delightful patio terrace. The staff was excellent, breakfast was great, and the room more than adequate. The property is clean and super easy walk to many of the sights. I would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Antwerp.
The front desk gave us the three recommendations for restaurants and they were all fabulous.

Excellent hotel in the heart of old Antwerp - perfect for seeing the sights. The room was huge, with a comfy sofa and all you needed for a few nights' stay.

The place is very clean. The breakfast buffet is awesome!! The location is great. The only cones are 1) TV signal wasn’t stable so it is not worth watching. 2) the toilet is isolated from the bathroom but it doesn’t have a sink.

I have stayed here for years. I love everything about it including the location the room the staff and breakfast. I have one objection, which is the single elevator, I have designated it :

Staff from front desk to cleaning helpful, pleasant, offered help without being asked. They really tried to accomodate guests. Room was fresh and clean and matched my requests. Location couldn't be better. Breakfast is very good. Highly recommend.

This hotel is ideal for siteseeing in Antwerp, really close to major attractions and within easy walking distance (5 mins) of tram, bus and metro lines.
It’s contemporary interior is welcoming, the staff being fluently multi-lingual and helpful and our room was a good size with 2 armchairs and table, large comfy bed and separate bathroom and loo (what a good idea)
Fabulous buffet breakfast provided until 10am each morning
