The hotel was very nice but, picked this hotel because the other hotels pool I was considering was shut down for a month. When we got back to our room the next day, after our beach outing and wanted to go to the pool, it was closed because the pump went out overnight!!

very clean hotel and the staff was extremely friendly. lots of places to eat in walking distance of the hotel which was nice. very disappointing that the pool wasn’t working being that it’s the middle of the summer. part of the reason we picked this hotel was because it had a pool so that was a disappointment. breakfast was also not the greatest.

I love HIE. This one seemed a little more run down than the others I've stayed at. It was still nice and a good stay

You could see where the receptical plug in the bathroom caught fire. The lotion bottle is full of soap and lotion. Very un safe. The toilet is not legal to even be there. It’s not to compliance with state codes. My knees almost hit my chin the toilet is so low to the ground. You need a state inspection I’d say and you’d probably be shut down. My stay was horrible.

Personal were very friendly. Greeted you when you entered. Ask if you needed anything. And also acknowledge when you left. So very nice.

Well the fact that the pool looked loke it hasn't been cleaned. It was very noisy.We couldn't even get any sleep. I know it wasn't the employees working.It was other guests and their damn dogs..

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express in Venice was perfect! All of the employees we spoke with were super friendly and welcoming. Check in was very quick and smooth. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was the perfect start to the morning. And again the staff was great and sooo friendly. The location in perfect youre close to everything without having to be stuck in those super busy areas. They also have a couple restaurants in walking distance. Perfect stay

I did not take a shower because there was mold around the edges of the bathroom shower. At 5:30 am, I was woken up by the loud slamming of the doors. I also used earplugs. Unable to connect the TV to the WiFi to watch Netflix. The receptionist was clueless as well.

We had a great experience with this hotel. The gentleman, Cleveland, was extremely pleasant, helpful, and went above and beyond.

Unfortunately there were children running and screaming up and down the hallway during the night. We called the front desk and someone came and told the parents to have them stop, but as soon as that person left, they started all over again. Not a good night’s sleep! The breakfast buffet was wonderful! The lady in charge was very attentive to refilling the buffet and the cleanliness of the area. The check in staff was very friendly.

Easy check in and friendly staff. Rooms are very clean. Excellent free breakfast in the morning, I just feel it should start earlier then 7am for us early risers. Convenient to beaches and downtown Venice. I would stay here again.

This property was average, no towels for pool, damaged items in the room, limited services, very musky smells in the corridors. It was close to the highway and many restaurants were nearby - a plus. The tiniest pool for a hotel near the beach I’ve ever seen😢

Far from a comfortable stay! First room I was assigned gradually got hotter and hotter. Tried to call the front desk and the phone wouldnt work. Tried calling the hotel from my cell phone and the line wouldn’t connect after following the prompts. Went to the lobby to switch rooms. The front desk agent was not kind at all. Seemed to be bothered about my request when I explained the ac and phone issue. Cut me off as I was telling her about trying to call on my phone. Rude… got to my next room which was very cool but had a horrendous stench! Went back down to the lobby, met with annoyance again by the agent and switched me again. The final room was cool and had a better scent but still not a fresh one. Mattress was very pilly, no pad, pillows had no support at all! And worse, the walls are so insanely thin I could hear every single thing my neighbor did. Blowing his nose, microwaving food, talking on the phone, belching peeing…. All of it!! Will not stay here again!!!
