Surprisingly good! Super nice and helpfull staff! Location is good and the hotel is very good for the money. Large old school rooms, big balconies, huge bed, decent breakfast and super super nice staff. Highly recommend!

Clean, good sized rooms with wifi and AC. They'll arrange a shuttle if needed to and from the airport. Several food options within 2 or 3 blocks, though they may be u steep hills. The only thing I'd have liked was to have a fridge in the room, or even a vending machine for a cold drink

The room was fine, but the shower stall was inconveniently small and hot/cold water erratic. The walk from the hotel to a convenience store, shops and restaurants was along a the road with no footpath

We took half-board stay here and have to say that breakfast as well dinner was great. Hotel staff are professional as well terrace is quite nice. We didn't use parking but it was in the front of hotel. It's not far to walk away to Old city and back, and I have to say that we love it to be a bit closer by walk to nature beaches. As well you can use public transport there and its quite frequent, as well take day ticket that provides unlimited day trips around city if you do not prefer walks what we found more better to feel the city. The room we got had white walls - what we like and shower was great and spacious.

Very clean and lovely hotel. Great air conditioning in room, and loved the balcony!

Overall it was good. Not so far from bus n. 4 and 6 stops which leads directly to the old town. Beds are super comfy. It's clean and the most important staff are friendly and they allowed us to leave our luggage for 5 days until we come back which we appreciate a lot

Stayed at Hotel Ivka for a week with my partner. It was a lovely stay, the staff were helpful and efficient. The hotel is really well maintained and spotless clean which was great to see. Breakfast had a great selection and i looked forward to it each day. The only thing missing to make it all perfect was that unfortunately there is no fridge in the rooms. The stay exceeded our expectations and i would definitely stay again.

Ivka was more like a hostel type hotel than hotel. The furniture was old and cheap and the toilet and genarl bathroom items were cheap and uncomfortable. Although the space was big in room and bathroom, it made us feel we had a private hostel room. Not at all what I expected.

Nice and clean room, hotel service is working every day - very pleasant. Great variety of food, we enjoyed breakfasts as well as dinners. Helpful receptionists as well. However, the walls and doors are paper thin. We heard people chatting on the hallway, and the other guests in the bathroom next to our room. It woke me up almost every night. Overall, we are satisfied.

The hotel had great views towards the Adriatic and the location was convenient

Staff was super helpful. We had to depart prior to breakfast so they even arranged a full bag of food for us to take to the airport

Hotel Ivka was very nice. They had given us a wrong room, but were very quick to change it. Good service. It was clean, nice beds and nice bedrooms. About 10 minutes away from Old Town Dubrovnik by bus, which was fine.

There are a lot of five star hotels in Dubrovnik and they are quite pricey. If that isn't your thing, or, more likely, if you are on a budget, then I would recommend Hotel Ivka. It is a solid choice: clean, if somewhat basic rooms, comfortable beds, a bright and pleasant ambiance, and a decent, good value breakfast built into the (affordable) price. Some rooms have beautiful views (ask for that). Location is not bad: a 10-15 minute walk into the main pedestrian street in Lapad and a 15-20 minute walk to Sunset Beach. City walls easily accessible by #6 bus or else a taxi ride (hotel can call a cab or you can Uber).

No problem with parking; front desk not too friendly but informative enough how to get to the Old City of Grad; staff during breakfast were friendly and helpful; the food was great. The room was clean. It was false advertising on the website on Expedia, checkout time was 12noon but front desk called at 11:20am, making sure we are not staying another night & insisted the checkout time was 11am that was frustrating for us when we were relaxing after breakfast, now was being hurried up for the checkout.

Bathroom is outdated but clean. Breakfast buffet was great. A little smile from the hotel staff would go a long way

There is absolutely no sound insulation. I was waking up several times during the night when other people were coming back from parties. I also could perfectly hear how other people were taking shower in their rooms.

Our room was extremely spacious, and very comfortable. Everything worked that needed to work, and we were very happy with the room, though it was a bit dated. One note: Be sure to take your own shampoo and conditioner. There is a soap dispenser at the sink and another in the shower, but the shower one is gel not shampoo. #hadfuzzyhair We ate at the dinner buffet and were extremely pleased with the quality and variety of the food, as well as the service of the waiters. The breakfast buffet was amazing for its variety and quantity. I can’t imagine there was much missing; soy milk was offered as an alternative to cow’s milk. We chose to walk to Old Town Dubrovnik, which is 3km each way. The stroll was pleasant. A taxi would be an option though it looks as though the bus system is well organized. Overall: splendid!
