Great stay. The staff was amazing and very friendly. They answered any questions I had including some random ones. I had an Angkor Wat tour scheduled for early morning. They put together a breakfast for me that I was able to take. It was ready for me at 4:30 when I left. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

A luxury, very nice hotel. Employees were all nice, too. The hotel was close to the central city, so I could walk there. I would recommend my friends to stay there.

The property is nice and clean. The restaurant serves very good breakfast with excellent food choices for Westerners and Asians. Food and wine are decent for dinner. The staff and the manager (Steve) were very hospitable. We always enjoyed the food and services when we dined there. The area surrounding the resort is empty with nothing worth seeing. A ride to the main drag downtown is just about five minutes away which makes up for the lack of activities around the resort. I definitely made a good choice by staying at this resort after seeing all other hotels in Sapa.

I stayed at this resort about 8 years ago. Things are difficult due to COVID and this hotel has not many visitors. The hotel staff are very polite. Overall, nice hotel but it is a 4 star hotel.

LOVED this hotel. It was big and beautiful. The pool area was lovely, the breakfast was amazing. The service and genuine smiles were everything. Would go back in a heartbeat. In fact we were seriously trying to extend our stay there... Its really wonderful there. Great massages too!

Location is good and convenient to go to Pub Street. Room is spacious. The breakfast has considerable amount of varieties to choose. However, the food in the restaurant is expensive as compared to those in the Pub Street. The SPA is reasonable but the clothing might need to be renewed.

I can't recommend this resort enough. Location is very convenient, but it was the staff that made the difference. From beginning to end it was a pleasure being there. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made you feel like family (first name basis). Pool is beautiful, food on-site is excellent, and the rooms are very clean. Highly recommend (and I'm picky).

I cant recommend this resort enough. Location is very convenient, but it was the staff that made the difference. From beginning to end it was a pleasure being there. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made you feel like family (first name basis). Pool is beautiful, food on-site is excellent, and the rooms are very clean. Highly recommend (and Im picky).

Hotel was situated slightly out of the centre but still within walking distance. We frequently took one of the tuktuks waiting outside the reception. Being slightly out of the centre it was an oasis of calm in what was a busy town centre.Would recommend one of the pool facing rooms for the view & balcony.Reception service was very good, especially when we had problems with a phone. Also concierge provided excellent restaurant booking service and tuktuk transport.

I was incredibly disappointed with the checkout process and it ruined my entire experience. Not only did it take a prolonged period of time, more than I believe is expected. When I finally went up to follow-up on why it was taking so long they told me they were "counting the items." Once they finally completed the counting I was told that I had consumed items that I did not ever consume. When I told them I had not consumed them they said I needed to "check with my friend," I told them that my "friend" who is my fiance was with me the entire time and that if any of us had consumed anything we would have told them. Then they tried to get me to sign a receipt on the goods consumed and told me they "would put zero on it." I told them I would not simply sign an incomplete form and they continued to insist that it was required for all guests. However, when I asked our cousin who was traveling with us he informed us that he did not have to sign any such document.

Ive stayed in only three 5-star hotels (counting this hotel as the third) and Im certain the Sokha Angkor is the overall best hotel Ive ever stayed in. The price was no more than many of the 3 or 4-star hotels Ive used.. Without paying for anything but their lowest priced room, my room was probably the most spacious and finely appointed room Ive ever stayed in. It had a lot of very expensive, beautiful hard wood furniture in it. The included breakfast options were probably the most numerous Ive ever enjoyed in a hotel. with both Cambodian and Western choices. The staff were abundant and always eager to help!

The hotel is fair with reasonable price including breakfast and airport pick-up. The location is good as it is only 5-mins walk to lucky mall. However, the hotel is old.

Awesome hotel, it was visually stunning and close to all the attractions (Angkor Wat, which was just a running’s distance away, Pub Street and night market, to name just a few). I originally checked in to the junior suite for two nights and then extended it to four. The staff at the lounge was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food on-site tasted great and had a wide variety of selections (Japanese, Western, Khmer traditional food). The spa was great as well. The massage therapists are obviously very experienced, and my time at the spa allowed me to relax and unwind with ease. The only down side is a little woody smell at the SPA.
