The hotel was OK no amenities---The staff Spoke no English, but overall the staff was nice and tried they best to help us and with the help of my phone app,to translate.

Not a great neighborhood but close to the Metro to get to other areas of the city.

I took the public bus from the airport to panama city, and a taxi from there to the hotel. I am glad it was so easy to get to, and check in was a breeze. You can find everything from clothes to food, all in walking distance. The metro to Allbrook mall passes at the bus station which is 30 seconds walk from the hotel, right in front the huge supermarket. Getting back though, you will have to take a metro that runs via espana and get off at calle 27 from there its a 5 min walk back to the hotel. Room was clean, bathroom spacious. Will stay here again when I come back to Panama!

i guess you get what you pay for! i was familiar with Benidorm in Mexico City and was lured by the low price thinking it was the same quality, but it has nothing to do with it!

Our experience as a family staying at benidorm hotel was good for us because the staff was very pleasant and the hotel room was good enough for us and my ten year old son was very pleased with the Internet connection and the cable television. My husband and I will definitely be returning to benidorm hotel because the area was safe and secure and there was a lot of shopping to do around that area and we definitely felt comfortable with the staff and we enjoyed our breakfast at the restaurant.

For 11 days had no wifi And they said that they was going to fix and never happen

People sleeping in the street gangs at night afraid to go out

Perhaps we were not prepared for cost/value in Panama City (apparently not inexpensive). Room was clean enough but small and without charm. First room had a broken air conditioner. Doors and wood trim could have used new paint a decade or two back.

I dont recommend this hotel, the rooms aspect seems dirty, the bathroom was not clean, the breakfast served was disgusting because it was full grease. Theres no warm water. The telephone and tv remote control didnt worked.

Place is a dump. Staff was not helpful and almost disrespectful when you asked for something. I com- plained to the manager about no wi-fi in room, and he told me he was going to through me out unless I stopped asking him to fix it. Finally got it the last two days there. The restaurant was mediocre. The location is fine, but the hotel was horrible.

The hotel was vastly overrated in your descriptions. It is old and very run down. No one on the staff spoke english, so communicating was a horror. It is next door to a strip club and seems to be used on an hourly basis by patrons and strippers.

Finally they gave up and waited for them to come back to the hotel. I felt very concerned and rather nervous about the circumstance but it was probably the police wanting to check but the staff should have done their job properly in the first instance.LA

Everything went well. I was able to easily check in and get to my room. The room was small but quaint. The people were nice. I ordered a taxi and even though I was a half hour late to take it, it waited for me. I didn't get to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast

However, we were wanting just a clean room to spend the night so we really didn't care. The next morning, breakfast was very simple but fine, you can choose natural juices, coffee, tea or milk, and pankakes, fried eggs with sausages or ham. The parking place is at the underground level, its small but safe like the hotel. For the price it was a good deal, room+breakfast+internet+parking included.

The place is a dump. It is old. There were no mattress covers, just under-sized sheets which slipped off the mattress, during the night so you ended up sleeping on the mattress. The pillow stuffings were sticking out - yuck! The towels had questionable stains. No windows in the room. The AC was a freight train. It was cheap, but we didn't get what we paid for!

The hotel staff was very helpful, attentive to our necesities, cleaning was satisfactory, breakfast included in the plan was good and sufficient, the location allows us to move easily to shopping centers and other points of interest. The hotel's transport service is prompt and economical. The rooms have free internet connection. Overall a good hotel with friendly staff

It was cheap and that the only thing I could say good. Traffic was loud all night. Didnt dare leave the room for fear of being a gringo target

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH HOTEL THEY OFFER BUFFET BREAKFAST ,BUT U ONLY RECIVE LIKE AMERICAN AND HAVE TO PAY IF U ORDER MORE , AND WIFI NEVER WORK BECAUSE WE STAY 3 DAY AND NEVER USE WIFI BECAUSE EVERY DAY THEY SAY WEARE FIXING THE PROBLEM BUT THAT 3 DAY SAME THING .

On the positive side the Hotel Benidorm has friendly, attentive staff and a nice adjoining budget restaurant. As Panama City is fairly expensive the hotel is a budget option. Unfortunately the Hotel is noisy and the rooms are poorly lit, unattractive and small. The area is not particular nice but it seems perfectly safe during the day and a police officer seemed to always be in the parking lot of the casino across the street so street crime shouldn't be an issue. I think that the hotel should invest in larger televisions, much better lighting (the bathroom is extremely dark) and should noise proof the rooms better. If they did these things then this hotel would be adequate. As it stands I wouldn't recommend the hotel as it's kind of loud and depressing.
