This hotel seemed short of staff. The breakfast was ok..overall experience seemed cold you just leave your keys at reception which is unmanned. Not sure they appreciated you being there as no interaction really....quite pricey for what you got especially as no car park. You park in the public car park 15 mins walk away, take an umbrella..

Enjoyed my stay. Room was lovely, although quite a few stairs to get to it. Staff were amazing, really welcoming and nothing was an issue. I ate at the restaurant and the team were really accommodating with my allergy. No parking at the hotel, but free car park not far away. Will definitely be back

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. The room was very comfortable, edpecially the bed and bedding. The only things that reduced our rating were the constant music and the speakers in the courtyard, and outside our room. The music was instrusive even when turned down.Also the type of music was not very varied. The courtyard could have been such a restful area but wasn't. Also some of the requests made prior to our stay had to be re-requested on arrival, when they were quickly and pleasantly dealt with.

A few long dark hairs on the pillows, so apparently bedding isn't changed between guests. Tiny bathroom. Wasn't expecting no one to be around at 7.30am when checking out, had been told to return my key to reception, but not told there might not be anyone there, and thus how to return a key to no-one. Heating was on pretty high given it was already a warm summer night. Otherwise fine, comfy bed, good shower.

A very nice hotel sadly let down by both the smell and appearance of mould in the bathroom. One wall totally covered. A real let down for a hotel that could be fantastic..

Very well decorated- Felt a bit rushed at times with payment of meal and breakfast even though we were resident.- also we ordered a starter to share and a main course each and our mains came out first so we said we have ordered a starter and the waitress said bit of a mix up in the kitchen and did we want to wait for the starter before our main course

Overall we had a very satisfactory stay but there are a few issues that could be improved. At check-in the member of staff/manager? initially couldn’t find my booking - causing a minor panic! Room was pleasant and nicely presented. However there was a large crack through one of the window panes which is very dangerous and needs replacing urgently. There was a mouldy patch on the wall in the bathroom and one bedside lamp did not work. Why are these things not checked? When we arrived back late on Friday eve, the man on reception was on the computer and didn’t even look round to acknowledge us, which we thought was rather rude! Is a “good evening” too much to ask for? However the breakfast was delicious and service was excellent. It’s a pain there is no on site parking esp with dropping off bags. Overall we had a good stay but with a few minor improvements, it could have been better!

Very quaint, friendly English pub. Rooms were a great size, excellently furnished and comfortable.

It’s a nice place in a good location. The room was very spacious and with a sofa also and a very large flat screen TV. The bathroom was also large so a nice room overall. The downside was that the wi fi connection was terrible! It kept dropping in and out. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Lovely old hotel with good dining options, bar and outdoor eating areas, quiet seating at rear of garden. Very helpful staff and gorgeous clean room with really comfy bed. Bus stop at front door. Recommend.

Greeted by the Manager Amod who was delightful and took us to our room - overall,our experience was really enjoyable and comfortable and decor lovely.

The hotel and room were attractive. However the superior room was much smaller than expected, on the third floor with no lift and the toilet was not working well. The maid service for three nights only included making the bed, no cleaning or refreshing the bathroom. Parking was on the street or a 7+ walk away.

A great hotel in Tetbury. Perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. Staff were very friendly and treated us well. Rooms were great and had everything we needed. Food was excellent!

The Ormond was ideal for our overnight stay in Tetbury.We enjoyed a drink and socialising with the locals in the bar,which had a good vibe about it.Our ground floor room was smartly furnishedand plenty big enough.The queen size double bed was very comfortable and the en-suite shower/toilet was well decorated, clean and provided plenty of powerful hot water both in the evening and morning.Our full english and vegetarian breakfast choices were well presented and ample in size.We enjoyed our stay and would book again..

The stay at the hotel was okay. The food quality was very good indeed. The bedrooms could do with an overhaul. But on the hole it was a nice hotel with friendly staff.

Nice Hotel, great rooms and a lovely Bar area, although this was a buisness stay in the middle of February I thaught that the hotel was a little understaffed !

The first thing is it was not clear until an email was sent on day of arrival that there is no on site parking. The reception room smells strongly of an old nursing home that hasn't been cleaned properly. The bed was too soft ( personal choice I know but hubby spent the night in the middle of the bed! ) The room was stiflingly hot with no heating on and the window wouldn not open The bathroom sink was badly cracked and the bath had a 10 pence piece sized chunk out of the enamel and mould on the tiles. I asked for a second larger towel as I have long hair, am still waiting for that! As for breakfast 20 minutes for a cup of earl grey tea that wasn’t earl grey no lemon offered I ad to go to the bar to ask. Nearly 40 minites for breakfast to arrive...yukky tinned mushrooms, tasteless tomato and burnt fried egg...toast for us both was cold and hubby's scrambled egg and salmon was just that..no toast or muffin or anything. Enough butter for half a slice of toast ..all in all not a good experience and although we have family in the area will definitely not be returning.

Another amazing stay! Sadly my last one for a while but this hotel is simply stunning and great value. Staff are wonderful and the rooms are beautiful. Free car parking off site but easy walk. Nothing bad to say. I recommend the food too

Beautiful hotel! Gorgeous rooms! The best bed! Just fabulous and the food is incredible! The Pork Belly was just perfect. Definitely a wonderful place to stay whatever the occasion. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

Parking was an 8 minute walk away, I didn't expect this. With heavy bags, it was a srruggle. I wouldn't stay there again.

Very comfy night in a well presented room. Good location. Did not really see the staff other than to check in but they were friendly. Alot of noise from above my room at about 23.00 - lots of banging and voices but it is an old building. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again! The bed is so comfy

Beautiful room. Clean and nicely presented. The bathroom is large but the bath was a little dirty looking. Marks on the tub. The bed is sooo comfortable, absolutely amazing! Nice big TV. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have really enjoyed my stay and will be back again
