It's a normal hotel. The FREE Continental Breakfast was good and fresh! They do have a pool but we didn't have time to go swimming so I don't know how it was or even what it looked like. Close to the HWY, unfortunately you have to exit onto Hwy 30 and make a U-turn if you want to go a different direction. Lots of Hwy construction EVERYWHERE!

The room I stayed in was not cleaned bathroom had trash and dried blood on the floor. The clerk moved without a problem, but it was inconvenience for me to pack all my things up after unpacking to another room. The lobby area had a strong odor of Chlorine or chemical smell I coughed all night. My other room was clean and the dining area was neat and the lady was very pleasant and helpful.

Had two Tvs in unit and only 1 remote. Coffee pot in room shot steaming hot water out of top and did not work. There was no Decaf coffee in the breakfast area either. We had no bed linens or pillow for the pull out couch. Bathroom door did not lock and over all just sub par facility. Pictures looked great online though.

Customer service was great. Manager went above and beyond after me calling this hotel after having a bad experiences at a different hotel. He let us choose our room and see our 3 different rooms before we chose one. The only problem we had is that we were told that the pool would be open in the morning and we waited until the afternoon and still the pool wasn’t open so we checked out early.

Pool was not working-we asked about it -the front desk personnel told us it would be open the next morning-in the morning we asked what time it would be open -he replied that the pumps to the pool had not been working and they had been ordered and they did not know when when they would know when they would be in .

Super clean hotel! Staff was so friendly and helpful and made sure we got a room next door to our other friends. The breakfast choices knocked it out of the park!

We were in town to participate in the Mud Girl Run this weekend. The room was nice, clean, & had a pleasant smell when we walked in. The shower was exceptional, & we loved the Dove shampoo & conditioner dispensers in the shower, (& the little Dove bar soaps) instead of the usual mini sized bottles you get at other places. Some people dont like a firm mattress, but I do & I had a great nights sleep. I would make a few suggestions though. 1) The day of the run, it was storming & the hotel power flickered on & off as my group & I were about to use the elevator. We decided to use the stairs, instead, but found the door to the stairwell locked; an employee had to give us access. Guests should have access to the stairs. I would think that is a safety issue. 2) One of our deciding factors to stay at this hotel, aside from we have never had a bad experience staying at a LaQuinta, was the pool & hot tub - but they were down. The first night of our stay, we asked if they would be up tomorrow & the front desk staff said yes. Alas, they were not up. I think it would be a courtesy to your guests (& this applies to every hotel) to put a disclaimer on your website when the amenities that may attract them to you are down. Or offer a discount for not being able to use them. 3) The satellite signal for the tv was terrible. We were not able to watch it until my husband turned his hotspot on. Overall, our stay was great and we would choose this hotel again.

We were visiting family during the solar eclipse. This was our second stay at the hotel. Each time the hotel was very clean, our room was clean. Because we are meeting family we have never experienced breakfast. I expect we will be staying here again!

Hotel staff is friendly and responsive but the property is quite dated. Walls are paper thin and you can pretty much hear all your next door neighbors conversation. On some nights the shower didn’t have enough hot water.

The elevator works but needs to be cleaned and smelling fresh. It smells like tobacco

First, the customer service was poor. No greeting and the man was rude whenever I approached him with a question. There was used soap and a used towel in the bathroom from the previous person which is gross. Thirdly, there was a roach that came out of the shower drain and when I told them, they said “well this is the south.” Lastly, the hot tub NEVER got hot and the pool was ice cold. I don’t see how this place got a 8.5 rating in 2020 because they really deserve 5 or lower!

I really didn’t like the fact that I had to go and get my card key rechecked because it didn’t work even though I had a 2 night stay.

Customer service was good but room condition was a oh ok and the halls smelled like straight dog even had a big dog try to attack and barking my husband and sister in law wanting to jump on them dog owner acted like she couldnt handle dog the barking was crazy and only havi g one elevator that worked slow was crazy if i ever have to stay at this hotel again ill make sure im on first floor the price for the room is not worth it even for a weekend stay

The spanish girl was really rude at the front desk that worked on Friday 3/1/24. The pull out sofa bed was not clean, they did not accommodate Us either or switch rooms. The hall way smelled like dog urine, and some yellow stained towels were sitting in the hallway for 2 days straight. The outside is nice.

Weird elevator operation.

It was a very nice and relaxing stay.

When we arrived at the hotel the front desk clerk was very nice. We got our room and the room smelled very musty and unclean. I went to the front desk and asked for another room and he said no problem. The second room was much better it was clear and it smelled good. The beds however are hard. They have a nice variety of channels on the TV and plenty of hot water in the showers. The indoor pool was big but it wasn't heated, the pool was ice cold. The hotel has breakfast from 6am to 9am and it was good. It consisted of scrambled eggs and sausage links, also you can make yourself waffles as well. Overall it was a good stay for the money.
