Pickup from Port and great advice for getting around and what to do.

Exactly what the description said, perfect in every way apart from the mattress, too hard and lumpy for both of us. That said I would definitely use here again for a short stay

Great little pension, about 10 mins walk from Naxos town and beach, not for the infirm though, surrounding area is uneven underfoot, also quite hilly. Stavros and his mum are really nice people. Mum left little home backed treats in our room most days :-)

It was a very homie place, we felt like being with family thanks to Irene and son hospitality.

The hotel is in a fairly good place. A little out of the main area but that makes for a quieter rest! Close to a great bakery, market and bus stop. I walked to Fira...about 20 min and it was a nice walk. There is a pool which is nice and the rooms were always clean. Never had any problems. The only negative was the hotel location was off a main street amd you had to wind back through some walkeays to find the hotel. Luckily there were signs. It worked out fine. Call the owner for pickup from the airport and save yourself the cab fare. Now that I know where the hotel is located Ill take the bus from the airport!

The guy who runs the hotel is very knowledgeable and friendly. They had overbooked for the first night we stayed and had to put us up in another hotel down the road for the night. Even though it was only a 2 minute walk they came and picked us up the next morning and upgraded our room for us, so we were very happy with the service. The WiFi not good and only worked intermittently. Otherwise great location, everywhere in walking distance. They had very good water pressure in the shower, the best we had in Greece.

The location was in a quiet neighbourhood, with great restaurants and cafes less than a five minute walk. The walk to the city centre was about 10-15 minutes. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend Pension Irene and will be staying there on our next visit to Naxos.

Fantastic location. Great family run place. The ride to and from the ferry and the cakes for breakfast where a great surprise. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Irene I with Jacuzzi or you can stay in Irene II with pool. It is a bit far from town but still in walkable distant. As it is not in main center so very quiet at night. A good choice if you like to relax.Free shuttle pickup in the port.

20€ per night. And Stavros came to the port to pick us, he gave us good info about the island, a couple of ice creams, two small bottles of wine, the hotel had jacuzzi was nice, well located, everithing perfect for an incredible price!

I really enjoyed my stay at Irene Pension 1. We were collected and dropped off at the port. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was close to the beach and the centre of the town. There was a hottub which really added to our stay. If I return to Naxos, I would love to stay here and will be recommending it to my friends.

Once we found it, we really enjoyed our stay. Just so you know, google maps and hotels.com do not have an accurate location as of right now. But, if you decide to stay here check your junk email. The man running the building, son of Irene herself, sends you an email offering to pick you up. Just email him back to let him know when you will be arriving and it will be much easier for you than it was for us since we didnt think to check the junk email. While there we enjoyed the homemade treats baked by Irene and the nicely equipped kitchenette which made our stay even more affordable. Plus it is close to the bus stop, grocery stores and less than a 10 min walk to Old Town. Very comfortable and affordable, and extremely accommodating. If there is something you need, chances are the need will be met. If we ever get the chance to come back to Naxos we will definitely stay here again.

The place is fine and quite central, this means space is limited as all land in the centre is precious. But it means that most of the main attractions are within 5-10 minutes walk. Rooms are fine, don't bring kids. Nice to be able to use the pool at Irene 2 (5-7 mins walk) as is hot in town on occasion.
