The floor and surface was not clean properly. The location is great.

The property is pretty nice overall. It is clean and well maintained and really close to four miles beach. The pictures are a bit misleading. The pics make the facility and rooms seems bigger and roomier. But, in actuality it is a bit cozy. It is still a great deal. Just felt a little underwhelmed when I saw it in person.

Our family of four had a wonderful 6 night stay at the Mandalay. The 3 bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed. The location is excellent, moments from the patrolled swimming beach and a short stroll to restaurants, cafes and boutiques. The kids loved the main pool. We didn't mind the three flights of stairs from the carpark to our top floor apartment, but request a lower level if that would bother you. Great value family friendly accommodation that we'd be delighted to return to.

Overall great property with excellent facilities. Only negative was the outdoor bbq near tennis court. It was very dirty and not just because person who used it before didn’t clean it.

Awesome stay! Didn’t want to leave. Deluxe apartment was excellent (beautiful, clean, comfortable). Had everything we needed. Two pools are beautiful and clean. Tennis court is great and having the BBQ option by the court was great. Walking distance to beach and town was so convenient. It was better than what we expected! We would definitely return.

Mandalay was a very comfortable place to stay. The units are a bit older now and in need of a spruce up. Advertising as luxury is a bit of a stretch. The apartment was quite well equipped and was very clean. The pool area was lovely but not as big a pool as some other places. The location of the property is excellent!! The staff were very nice. We had a back apartment but it would have been nicer at the front overlooking the pool and not looking out to the main road. Although it’s a pretty quiet main road. I would definitely recommend people stay at the Mandaly if they want a clean, comfortable and convenient stay.

Beautiful 3 bedroom apt. Very clean, bed comfortable, shower pressure both bathrooms was strong fabulous large flatscreen tv bedroom, and living room. Kitchen was very well stocked not one complaint and Kerrie the welcoming agent was so sweet and cordial. I would definitely stay here and definitely recommend. We are from New York.

The rooms were very luxurious with our own private garden and direct access to the beach. The pool was fabulous and the staff were friendly and very welcoming. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Our apartment was tired and dated. These units are owned by individuals and let out on a commercial basis. The team at the apartments who run the bookings are lovely but they can only work with the owners and the apartments they have. Odd that we had to pay in full 6 months before our stay. We gave our feedback to the management who appreciated it. If they don’t know there is an issue they can’t fix it. Great location, we won’t go back to the same apartment again.

Nothing unique about the Mandalay. It was comfortable enough walking distance to shops and beach. Small pool area unclean could do with a revamp other pool was good and clean. Disappointed I didn’t get told about the 3 flights of stairs I had to climb to get to my room when booked through Expedia (no fault of Mandalay) and no elevator difficult for someone with knee problems. Room itself was well equipped and spacious. Staff were friendly and welcoming

The apartment is close to the beach, has a great swimming pool and clean on the inside. The only problem we had was the air conditioner vents looked like they have not been cleaned for a while. Heavy dust and looked like possible mould. We had a bit of allergic reactions when we stayed here.

We stayed for 7 nights & had an amazing stay. Everything you need us here - towels, utensils, tea & coffee + more. The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for 2 adults & 2 teenagers. Both pools were great & the bbq facilities were good also. It’s only a 5-10 min walk up to the main street & literally across the road to the beach. Staff were very helpful & friendly. I would definitely stay here again & couldn’t recommend it enough.

Love our stay in this property. Big rooms and a good size pool which is easily accessible from our room. The gardens offer a relaxing view from the rooms. We had everything we need in the room - kitchen, laundry, spa bath and a generous outdoor setting. Great to also see a selection of books in the room, perfect read by the poolside or by the window overlooking the gardens while sipping your cuppa. Staff were also friendly and shout out to Annie who was helpful arranging with transfers. Overall, a fantastic and a pleasant stay. Would recommend.

We stayed in apartment 1 on the ground floor. It was a beautifully decorated space with everything we could possible want. We also had a huge private outdoor area at the back with sun loungers and seating as well as a smaller area at the front. The staff were really helpful and welcoming.
