I liked breakfast being served to the room. I didn't like the mould on the bread.
They apologised for the mould and went ahead and charged full tariff for the breakfast on check-out. (e.g. several thousand baht plus 1Baht)

I liked the apartment big open and with ovn swimmingpool. I did not like that the kitchen did not know how to make a simple american cup of coffee. I tried 5 times to get coffee from them. But they had no ideer on how to make a simple cup. Food was simple mostly cold on arrival to my room.

We stayed at the Residence Retreat and spa villias for the last 7 days.What a tranquill place to stay, the rooms where very clean and tidy, our pool villa had an amazing homey feel. The staff are all welcoming and friendly towards us.Great service at every request.The breakfast was very filling , it was a good idea to book breakfast included with the plung pool offer, it was ideal having that daily swim as it gets very hot.Close to the main back beaches , only a short walk or scooter drive.
Will go back and stay there again...highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Residence Retreat and spa villias for the last 7 days.What a tranquill place to stay, the rooms where very clean and tidy, our pool villa had an amazing homey feel. The staff are all welcoming and friendly towards us.Great service at every request.The breakfast was very filling , it was a good idea to book breakfast included with the plung pool offer, it was ideal having that daily swim as it gets very hot.Close to the main back beaches , only a short walk or scooter drive.Will go back and stay there again...highly recommend it.

Travelled as a couple and stayed in the newer villas. Overall the villa was okay, they seem to be poorly maintained. Lots of little cracks, paint chipping, moldy smell under kitchen sink, and lights not working. The bed was horrible, and as hard as the floor. After only a couple of day sleeping on it we were experiencing back pains (did not have this the entire time we were in Thailand or any of the other hotels we stayed in prior). There was rarely hot water, just luke warm. The reception area is also poorly maintained, the couches look cracked and gross but that is less of a concern as youre only there shortly.Positives were they offered a shuttle around the compound, staff were friendly, close to Bang Tao Beach, villa was spacious, private and you get your own pool and deck.We went in Aug 2018 which is rainy/low season and got lower rates. I would not pay the regular high price for this villa.

We couldn’t find a birthday cake for my sons birthday and that evening management personally delivered a cake to our room - candles and singing and all .. impressiveGreat room service .. food was quality and affordable . The room is nice and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can choose to have breakfast at your villa without extra fee. I also tried the room service for dinner, their green curry is great! There is a SPA at resort, it cost only $1000b for traditional thai massage for a couple, not to mention the massage is very good. Had a great vacation there.
However, the location there is not convenient, the price for booking van from resort could be high. So, i booked a van from man gor for travelling.

We loved this hotel. We had a private villa with one bedroom and pool. The pool and decking area was fantastic. The bedroom was lovely and we had a massive living room/ kitchen area too. Only slight draw back was it’s about a 20/30 min walk to beach which seemed massive in the heat! There is a shuttle bus but we just hired a scooter for the week which was only 400baht a day and allowed us to whizz around everywhere.

The villa need to be up kept better, painting, furniture. Also, no other facilities other the spa. More facilities, like inside gardens and more restaurants, better reception lobby are needed.
It is however is nice for a family vacation. The villas are very private and they are home away from home, that type of a feel. They have kitchen which as a family, will save a lot to buy food in the restaurants.

There’s a delicious restaurant across the street and night markets on Mon and Thurs. No TV in the bedroom and only 2 bottles of complimentary water per day. The staff was helpful with an early check in. For only two people, I’d probably stay on the beach next time but this place would b perfect for large families.

The villas are very spacious and nicely furnished. But many basic facilities are not functioning! In my case: there was no water at all on day 1,then no hot water on day 2, during all stay the wifi has poor connectivity and went completely off on day 3.
All of these things can be fine if solved promptly; but at this residence, there was NO willingness to help, to the point of the receptionist who couldn't speak English hang up on me when i was chasing for Wifi to be restored. So overall a very disappointing stay in a property that could offer so much better.

The villas are very spacious and nicely furnished. But many basic facilities are not functioning! I'd definitely recommend The Residence! The 3 Bedroom was very spacious, including the indoor and outdoor space. Having breakfast included with our room was also a plus! It was delivered fresh to our door every morning and the room service guy was extremely friendly! Although we did not use our private pool, it was aesthetically pleasing to looking out, especially at night time when then pool lights illuminated the courtyard. Overall, this was a great stay at a very affordable price!

Had a wonderful time at The Residence. Villa was absolutely stunning and gigantic! Could have had 10 people stay there! Air conditioning was icy cold, pool was enormous and crystal clear, gardens were beautiful and housekeeping were terrific.

The villa was spacious, clean and modern. The pool was a decent size with a nice water feature and Sunlounger. Very private. The kitchen was well equipped. Good tv channels. Free wifi which was a little slow sometimes but decent. The villa was tastefully furnished and overall it was just luxury. There didnt seem to be much to do in the vicinity. The resort offers free lifts down to the beach which is quite nice and peaceful. The beach club down there is quite expensive.

Great spacious room with apartment facilities with plunge pool,good for Thai humidity. Restaurant food was very good and service excellent.Linked up with Bliss beach club on Bangtao beach which was clean,safe and beautiful.Would highly recommend. We obtained a very cheap rate during oct off season. Also had a massage - excellent value for money and staff very professional and friendly.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Tesco just 5 min walk away and could buy food there to cook in the Kitchen. Splash pool was used often because of the heat in Phuket. Also made use of the free gym offer and enjoyed Pilates and Yoga classes with Jo! Will definitely stay here again.

The villa is near amenities like Tesco,to buy some food and snacks or drinks to last your stay at the villa.Bliss beach club is a definitely a must go!!!semi private beach club..best to catch some suntanning over there..plus the view and drinks!
The only downside is the shower water pressure is kinda low,and the price of shuttle service to and fro to patong or other places is kinda expensive..but nonetheless...

I had stayed for 3 days 2 nights. It's wonderful vocation for our family. Children enjoys the swimming pool a lot. Rooms were nice and cosy. Facilities in house is completed even kitchenware. Just a bit bad that not close to the sea.

One of the best experiences that we have experienced. From the first day till the last, we kept commenting on how if we were to visit phuket again, we would definitely stay here again.
The staff took care of every little detail and made us feel so welcome.
It helped that they offered complimentary yoga and Pilates classes and the instructor was very good.
Breakfast was something we looked forward to as well!
