Rooms are always clean but not updated and could use a coat of paint. Great for the price and great location

Upon approaching the door to our room, it was clear that maintenance was a low priority as the door to our room as well as other rooms were in poor repair. The room itself was nice, with a refrigerator and small microwave. However, the AC unit was in poor repair and literally sounded like a freight train in the middle of the night. In addition, the bathroom had several problems. The soapdish kept falling from the wall, the ventilation window in the bathroom did not function and the toilet ran continuously. What is most disappointing is that these problems were reported to the front desk and the only action taken was they tried to jam the soap dish with unanchored screws back into the wall. Of course it fell down once touched again. The other problems were not addressed. I would stay here again only if it was the only option available.

For the price, I was surprised buy how very decent it was. Clean, comfy room, nice.

it was our 4th stay there and we like a lot, but we noticed a few things different.. it is clean but cleaning in the restroom can better, the lamp shades and doors need some attention and care .Overall it is good and close to the beach . We definately will be back .

Very quiet and great staff with central location

Our room was comfortable and clean. The courtyard was clean and cozy and the pool was very cleaned clean. The staff was kind and considerate. We would stay here again.

I checked in with my husband for an anniversary weekend. The room is adorable. The motel is older and it shows in the outside but the rooms are cute. We had no issues until in be middle of the night I noticed a German cockroach in the bathroom. I killed it and let it slide. It’s Florida, these things happen. Inwas uneasy but went back to bed. Around 2:40 am I felt something on me, and jumped up to find a cockroach crawled on me. Then my husband noticed another in the bed. We jumped up and immediately checked out. At 2:45 am we dropped our keys off and didn’t look back. I can tolerate a lot but roaches are non-negotiable. I got images of them but I will spare you.

Was great for the price

There's a $100 deposit before you can get into your room, I don't remember seeing anything on the app about that. So I was a little unprepared. But besides that the room was clean and the staff is pleasant. There's on site laundry room with washer and dryer, $2 in quarters to wash, $2 in quarters to dry. Pool looks appealing. Love the French doors. Only thing is the bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan, kind of a drag when it's humid outside and you take a shower with the window open, felt like I was sweating my makeup off as I was putting it on. I would recommend if you're just looking for a cheap place to lay your head at night.

This was our second stay here. They’ve redone some things since our first stay which only made this good little place even better! My kids always love a good pool, and this one is perfect!

Room was very clean and in a convenient area to historic downtown and beaches. The facility was under repair after last 's hurricane. Staff was dismissive over concern regarding broken bathroom windows, though. Assured us that it would be fixed, but never was.

Very happy with our stay.Don't let exterior prevent you from staying here. Friendly staff, comfy bed , clean and mostly updated bathroom and room . Still dated in areas, but looks like they are in process of updating. Blu Bistro right next door was great choice for breakfast, we ordered lunch to go right away and enjoyed it at the beach. Good and convenient!

Although I booked a room with double queen beds I was charged an additional $30 for daughter who decided to come with us

It is an older motel and a bit worn with age, but it is clean and great for someone looking to enjoy the beach and the fishing on a budget.

It was fine ..not in town like it said ..u need a car ..but it was cute with good cable ..ceiling fans , good parking ..a great breakfast place on sight …..beds were cozy …it’s a lot nicer inside then the outside

Despite having a “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door, an employee thought it was okay to enter my room while I was in the bathroom. He did not apologize either.

I’ve stayed here in the past and truly enjoyed myself. It’s nice , safe place to get away for the weekend if your local or for the week if you’re not. Never disappointed.

Unit was near the road entrance, and doorframe was split. The deadbolt went into a hole in the broken wood. Thin pillows & towels. Musty smell. Pool was nice Only had to stay 1 night!

For an older establishment, it was a great experience at the property. Family day trip to the beach. Pool nice, rooms updated and ac worked beautifully. Not to mention affordable.

Great place to stay

Perfect for our stay with two children. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. Children enjoyed the pool and pingpong. Grills available (but we were on short vacation and ate out most meals). Very short drive to manasota key, Venice Beach, and Caspersen. Plaza across street had great restaurant and dollar general. Walked to two other restaurants.

The bed linens are goid material. Batgroom clean and has a tub that looks new. Fridge and microwave. Courtyard with pool. A very good value!
