Good location close to public transit

Very close to the tram and so very convenient to go to the city center and also reasonably priced.

This hotel is ideally located for convenience. The breakfast was genuinely fantastic. However, the room could have been a little cleaner/in better condition (e.g. the shower didn't drain quickly). The room I stayed in was on a lower floor and the city noise was a little loud but friends of mine on a higher floor didn't have that problem.

A convenient place

The hotel is well located, very clean and with all the basics. Late arrival OK. breakfast absolutely super (croissants) Drinks prohibitively expensive (hotel for camels only) Bad thermal and noise insulation of the windows. The tram was really noisy at night

Right opposite a high quality indoor market. Easy access to the centre of town by road. Bus stop and citybike station just over the road.

Very dog friendly hotel. Staff is really friendly. The breakfast is amazing, there is a lot to choose from. Five stars from all of The Pringles

Otherwise good and pleasant stay, aircon blew rather coldly which not a problem if, like me, you like sleeping chilly. Toilet lacked a toilet brush. Comfy bed, great shower, nice staff, tasty breakfast. Location is great and good value for money, nothing extra or fancy but all you need.

The room was lovely. The staff was friendly and I had a pleasant stay. The free food and sauna were wonderful. I am deducting points because there were a few hairs on the towels, but I would stay there again if given the chance.

Excellent value; clean and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was the best I’ve had (especially the gluten-free range) Only small niggle was that there was no obvious way to make the room dark during the short Finnish night. Didn’t bother me at all, but I can imagine that some people might have found it hard to sleep

The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the hotel was located in close proximity to the city center. I checked in after midnight with no issues at all, and I also got to store my luggage at the hotel for a few hours after checking out. The interior design isn't exactly top modern as of March 2022, but this doesn't matter too much as long as it's clean, and I found it to be a perfect hotel for those who are only making a short visit to Helsinki.

Nice basic hotel with good location.

Located across the street from a lovely market, adjacent to the water and easy access to transportation plus other great bars, restaurants and Saunas close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to stay there again.

Hotel is nice and centrally located, staff is pleasant. There is is good breakfast buffet with many choices.

Clean, quiet, efficient design, responsive and supportive staff, near Metro. Location good if you know city center. Small room, people who are heavy or who have back problems might have trouble with thin mattresses. Oddly, taxi drivers had trouble with the name (Scandic just means Scandinavian; Hakaniemi is the area of city) Taxi fares: in 60 Euro; out very early 52 Euro.

Stayed for a few nights. The weather was hot, one day above 30°C, there was an AirCon, but the table top fan was sufficient. The room was nice. The hotel was located convenient next to both bus, tram and metro and is within walking distance of city center. The breakfast both have the classic bread, cereal, and english breakfast - safe options, but also local Finnish dishes. The sauna was nice, sadly only had time to use it 1 out of 4 nights. My only issue was the WIFI. It was supposed to be easy. No password, just connect and press log in. relog in af 24 hours But it would most of the time spend so much time loading the log-in successful page, that it timed out and you had to try again. the last time it took 15mins to connect to the wifi, and 2 days i gave up and used my cellphone data. It would have been much easier with a password

Very basic hotel. The location is next to one of the loudest streets in Helsinki city center - this means public transportation is literally on your doorstep, but it is not very quiet or peaceful place to stay. City center is a short walk away, there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast ok, they had several gf options.

Pro: Breakfast was good. Public transportation just in front of the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Cons: The beds where rather small.

Central location. Staff were really polite. Condition of the hotel was really good and I had a really good price for the stay.

Very friendly and helpful service at the reception. Tasty and abundant breakfast, including gluten-, lactose-free, vegan etc. choices. Clean and cosy room. Good location - metro and tram-stop right next to hotel. Food store and market next to hotel, caffees nearby.

I stayed there for business. The hotel and its services were far below expectations. Rooms were not adequate and food was poor. Customer service was terrible. I discovered after my stay that due to a clerical error I was charged twice. However, they refused any refund.

The hotel is well located for public transport and is also next to the Scandic Passi which has a nice restaurant/bar attached to it accessed via the Passi’s Conferencing area. The staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly. My room was clean although the cover on the chair at the desk was stained and in need of a clean. The hotel was basic - no tea/coffee facility in the room & no social space except for some chairs in reception. The decor was a little ‘tired’ & in need of a bit of care but as I was on a business trip spending very little time in my room, this was OK for me. The Passi did have a bar in the hotel & as mentioned above, another close by so this was fine. Would I stay there again? Absolutely - its location, the staff & breakfast all outweigh the minor things above but I do hope a refurb is planned - the property deserves it.
