The perfect hotel to stay for an overnight break on our way to Stockholm

Would stay again and recommend.

We were 7 staying at the hotel for a girlie weekend. Despite prior requests to have the rooms near each other there seemed to have been no effort to do this. We asked one room to be moved as it was noisy and unsuitable and we were charged extra for the priviledge even though the new room seemed the same size. Simple requests such as cocktails and coffee in the lobby were met with unfriendly responses and a long wait. The breakfasts were excellent and the XL room was a super space. The terrace in the middle of the hotel was a nice touch but the walls are a bit ugly and unkempt. The coffee machines in the corridor would have been ok if there were more. The area around the hotel is great with shopping and restaurants. There was no noise disturbances at all. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great. A little more warmth and customer service from the staff would have been appreciated. Probably won't stay there again but loved the area and the frontage of the hotel.

If you would like to experience Guthenberg and don’t and don’t want to be smack down in middle of all the usual city chaos but still close then this is the place for you. Upon entry the staff greeted us politely and answered any questions we had. They were also very kind and helpful during our stay(3days). Breakfast and dinner in the hotel was also great! Would definitely return to Flora again! Unfortunately only downside was that they dident have mini fridge in the room, but we asked the staff If they could store drinks we baught in the bar which was never an issue. The real charm of this place is the staff!

The property is in a great area for walking around and getting elsewhere. However, every day at around 4am there were trucks being unloaded either by the hotel or other local businesses directly underneath our window. Add in the cobbled streets and you have a ridiculous amount of noise guaranteed to awaken you. We made the mistake of not putting on the 'do not disturb' for the cleaning staff not to clean the room because when we returned from breakfast, we discovered that they had mopped around our suitcases, making the very limited floor space soaking wet. The breakfast was simply superb, there are many different options available to you.

Beautiful boutique hotel. We had 2 rooms of the same type that were different. Mine had a view overlooking the canal and city, which is lively. Safe neighborhood, close to everything. Bikes and scooters available right outside the door for rent from an app. Helpful and pleasant staff, very clean room. The housekeeping is excellent. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Room was big (we are a family of 4) and super clean. Great location- easy walk to everything and very quiet. Breakfast was included and really delicious. Would stay again without hesitation.

Locayed right in the heart of the city, you can walk to gistorical placrs and restaurants. There is a market nearby as well. The breakfast was self service and very good. Right in front is a public space for hanging out and having a drink or meal

Location was great. The hotel was close to central shopping areas and tram stops. Hotel Flora was able to check us in earlier than expected. Unfortunately, we visited Gothenburg during an exceptionally hot few days and the room did not have an AC unit. The room safe was also locked so we were not able to use it. Additionally, the shared nespresso machine for the floor had mold in its water tank so we did not use it.

Lovely room. Great shower pressure. Lots of amenities for example- umbrellas in your room you may use. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was fabulous! Service and communication was outstanding. Staff very helpful. Good location close to public transportation and many areas within walkable distance. Would return to Gothenburg just to stay here again!

Old room. Poor cleaning upon arrival and forgot to clean the next day even though booked a two night stay. Stayed here four times over past 10 years but will find other accommodation next time. Poor reception service. Flora has lost its bloom.

Nice breakfast, good location, but rooms are worn down, sloppy furnished, and it looks really sad with all old, wornd down electronics just standing around with terrible cable management. E.g., radiator and fan just standing on the worn down wooden floor with cables everywhere.

Hotel has a perfect location, walking distance to every part of the city, also the neighborhoods with the less mainstream restaurants etc, but still in the middle of everything. Staff was very service minded. The room was clean, and the bathroom comfortable. Only thing that I would change, even though it did not decrease my total impression a lot, was the very dark colors and carpet floor in the bedroom, and real eggs for the scrambled eggs for breakfast. Besides that, I loved the stay and can recommend it. Value for money.

The hotel is quirky, as adapted old buildings can often be. Oddly there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Instead you take your cup down the corridor to a nespresso machine. We asked for a kettle and it was provided within minutes. The staff were terrific. Very helpful.

Parking offsite is inconvenient

We were pretty disappointed in our stay at Hotel Flora. The shower doesn’t have an actual curtain on it, so there’s no privacy in the bathroom. The hallways and common areas have lots of very uneven surfaces, so if you have any issues with mobility I would definitely not recommend this hotel. In addition, the hallways and other common areas were a little gross. Not clean, the paint was strange and looked unfinished. Wouldn’t recommend this spot.

Hotel overall great! Parking to front of hotel which you need to pay for. Boutique hotel. They have steam irons!! 😃 Might need a more European menu to cater for business travellers who just want a burger. Great breakfast!

Beautiful accommodation in a great central area of Gothenburg. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic!

The hotel had lots of character and some luxury perks including a heated bathroom floor. The location was excellent-- there were many cafes, restaurants and a beautiful park and canal nearby. My room was very quiet.
