Very good location. Lots of food options and cafes within walkable distance. The river front is a 5-7 min walk.

I like this hotel since there are no group tour groups. It is quiet.

Its a good hotel as always.. Well run and clean. But things have gotten a lot more expensive in Vientiane these days. The price for a Superior room seems about double from a year ago. I learned it is not worthwhile to get a standard room. Small and no balcony. Always get the superior room with balcony if the price works for you. The pool is quite large and pleasant and the fitness room is decent. Love the location.

The room was pleasant enough. Decent and clean and comfortable. I had a room facing the street but it wasn’t bad at all. Location is great—walkable to most places or easy access via tuktuk or taxi

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and has its own WiFi router. Many restaurants, cafes night market, night food market all nearby or short 6-10 min walk.

Le Charme is exceptionally well run. Plumbing and electrical, bedding and furniture, service and food were all international quality. On Expedia the hotels in this part of the world tend to all look good so it is difficult to see the details. Fantastic location. Good price too. Highly recommend.

The hotel was comfortable. I enjoyed staying hotel. Only problem i think was the noise from outside. Multiple constructions went on endlessly. Otherwise. the all staff members were good.

Le Charme is a handy hotel. It is not too large, not too small. Guests are wonderful. Staff of the hotel is also excellent. Only problem I found is that hot water is not well facilitated, and so it takes a long time to take a hot water shower.

Great location, and nice staff. Had window in the room, but it was basically covered. For being a rather high class hotel, it would have been nice with soap for the room, and the time set correctly on the clock etc. Bit noisy at night

I plan to come back and stay here again! It’s clean, close to everything you’d want to see or do, and the customer service is top notch! This place is a hidden gem.

This wasn't a bad stay, but it wasn't the best. Room was far more tired than expected, especially for the price. Previously the best western, it has probably had its hey day. Staff were lovely, and the location was great. Pool area was nice but basic lounge chairs.
They provided two bottles of water per day for free but I would prefer they save the plastic and have a big water cooler to refill your own bottle. This goes for everywhere we stayed in Laos.
The bar that is part of the hotel has a nice little terrace to have a night cap. Prices were reasonable and good service.
I would choose to stay elsewhere on my next Vientiane visit as don't feel the amount paid matched the room quality. Had to ask the housekeeper to change the sheets as they had marks on them when we arrived

The staff are very helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean but a bit worn. We had booked a double room aand were given two singles, which we have noticed is the trend in Laos, we were only staying one night so didnt mind, as we had checked in early.
The pool is fantastic, along with the bar area. We had an early morning train and left before breakfast was served, so unable to comment on that. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel and a night market. The location is very central.

The pool was very cold so we couldn’t swim. The room was not well cleaned. The white bedding had marks on it and there was half eaten chocolate in the fridge.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff, ideally placed for our short 4 day visit to Vientiane. The only snall gripe was the hot water in the shower worked for my wife but went missing for my turn...lol.

The location is good and room spacious. However, the decoration and facility are outdated. The tea bags and the toiletries were not replenished.

A comfortable hotel in the centre of Vientiane. Very close to the night market area. The hotel is comfortable and clean.
The air-conditioning didn't work properly so we were upgraded to a superior room, which resolved the issue.
The service was good, breakfast was ok.
This is my second time in this hotel, and I will stay there again when in Vientiane.

In general the service and attention was quite good.The problem that I had was the amount of mosquitoes in the room I was given. I spent almost two hours killing mosquitoes before going to sleep

Average hotel with average service, poor breakfast definitely not. worth for. I rather have a quick walk to Naked Espresso for a higher quality of breakfast with one of the best coffee in Vientiene.

I can thoroughly recommend this hotel if youre heading to Laos. The location is fantastic, its less than a minutes walk to the night market, you can just step out the front door to some fantastic bars, restaurants, cafes and a nice relaxing massage. The staff were always friendly and helpful, the rooms were a good size and clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful, the pool was just right to cool down on a hot afternoon.From start to finish, I couldnt fault this hotel.... excellent value for money!
