Wonderful experience, the property is perfectly positioned in the old town. Our room had a water view, and we took our breakfast on the terrace which also has a water view. Communication was excellent and the staff were absolutely wonderful. This property is top drawer.

Villa Tuttorotto's staff are very welcoming and helpful, they made my stay a pleasure. I had a single room which looked onto the harbour and which was bright, sunny, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and lots of choice! I highly recommend this property.

Our US family of 4 stayed in the Garibaldi annex of Villa Tuttorotto for 2 nights in early July 2022. The rooms were excellent and served as a great base for exploring Rovinj and Istria. It was a short walk from the parking area, and the staff met us to pick up and drop off in a golf cart. Domo was very helpful in describing some ways to enjoy the area. Despite being right downtown, the apartment was not noisy. Everything was clean, a/c worked, all in all a great stay!

I was taken aback at first by the equipment gym outside my door & the small bed on the last floor. However, the view quickly made up for it & the hotel is very well located. Additionally, the hotel felt very boutique living in a home with a living room you can fully utilize. Plus, the receptionist made my stay very pleasant with the copious breakfast I’m still salivating about.

The villa was perfectly located, we were located on the top floor with a perfect view of the harbour. The staff especially Katarina and Dom were excellent - a credit to the villa. Breakfast excellent and plenty of it. Would definitely return

Great location, and nice staffs! Even our room was bit small, we really enjoyed our stay!

I had the most wonderful, yet short, stay at this beautiful place! Dom made me feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, the room with a view perfectly comfortable and well-appointed. The overall feel of the place is just lovely and comfortable. And, the location can not be beat, right in old town and near the harbor.

Air conditioning a bit weak

Villa Garibaldi was an excellent place to stay! The reception at Villa Tuttorotto was helpful and friendly. It is super central - just 50 meters from the main square, the supermarket is in the same building and the bakery just across the street. The fruit market just 100 meters away, and a lot of small shops and restaurants within short walkingdistance. It has air condition in all rooms, and that was crucial as the temperatures were above 35 degrees. And everything was super clean!

When we checked into the hotel, the air conditioning had been turned off for the season and our room was stifling hot. We politely told the woman who checked us in that we needed to move to a different hotel because it would have been impossible to sleep. We told her we would work the situation out with Hotels.com and that we would be willing to pay for one night. Hotels.com contacted the hotel for me today and the hotel refused to refund us any of the money for our planned three-night say. I think the customer service rep really tried to work it out with the hotel because I was on hold for about 15 minutes. Hotels.com kindly gave us a voucher for $200 for future use since the hotel would not cooperate. I find it very unreasonable that the hotel did not give us a refund or partial refund.

Very confortable hotel in the old town of Rovinj, near the sea, good and very good restaurants with good fish and wine around the hotel. As I had birthday while my stay, I got a bottle champagne with sweets and nuts from the hotel staf!

In the facts this is like a bed and breakfast rather than an hotel. Facilities are in a nice old house but there are very difficult to find inside the city. The hotel should provide more information and assintance for facilitate travelers to approach the site. If you are travling in a car be prepared to park at around 10 minutes walking distance and carry on your lugagge at the hotel. No help for this.

I loved this hotel - great character, awesome breakfast (with a nice view of the harbor), cozy spot off the side streets inside the heart of the old city. Also much more convenient to get to with luggage than some of the other b&bs that are further off the main walkways / up steeper hills.If these sort of things matter to you when you travel, I would point out that:- it is nearly impossible to find the first time. I followed the directions they sent but if you haven’t seen the web of streets before, it’s tough. I also asked 5-6 people including at the restaurant on what ended up being around the corner, and the 6th person was the first who knew. No problem finding my way back there after, but check-in is hard if you’re coming in without assistance.- there is limited hot water. Both mornings the water turned cold while I was mid-washing my hair.But if you’re not worried about those things, it’s a delightfully quaint, friendly b&b in a great spot very close to the water and main walkways!

In order to stay in the centre of the historic town of Rovinj having travelled by car, you need to accept that it is essential to leave it in the large public car park about 1/2 mile from the hotel. Conversely, you get to experience the true magic of the town without cars. Villa Tuttorotto is located in a tiny backstreet, but perfectly findable using Google Maps! We enjoyed every aspect of our stay, except perhaps the first morning sharing the large breakfast table with other guests. We have a personal preference for separate tables, not possible due to space limits. But on the second day we were able to breakfast separately on the tiny terrace! Our room had a limited but acceptable view of the harbour. The bed and facilities were good, except for an easily cured slow drainage on the shower. We loved walking around the town and the walk to the park to the south...well worth it for peace, quiet and views away from the busy town and harbour. Great choice of restaurants, but we chose one in the backstreets away from the busy harbourside ones.....an excellent choice for a better quality meal learned from experience!

Very nice room for 3 in a quaint B and B. Huge bathroom. We came by car. Old City is closed to most cars. You park in lot by public pier and walk a few blocks to hotel. Might be able to get some golf transportation. Not the easiest or Best choice if you have trouble walking. Otherwise very nice. English speaking desk staff.

This charming small hotel sits inside the medeival city, but is readily accessible from the parking area with their good instructions. It is an historic building, a former private residence. Many windows have a port view, and the hotel is full of beautiful antiques and art. The second floor has a comfortable living room area, and dining table, with a balcony also available. The staff are exceptional, friendly and helpful, and we couldnt have been happier. Great breakfast. The only issue was poor wifi in our top floor room. I had to come down to 2nd floor use wifi.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were outstanding, the rooms were old world beautiful and the breakfast and the service were lovely. It was a 10 on all accounts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Rovinj. Our room had a small view of the water and was comfortable but bed a bit hard. Had to ask for extra blankets and pillows but staff were lovely. Breakfast was very nice and the breakfast room had a balcony with a view of the water. The hotel was like a museum with lots of interesting paintings books and artifacts. Location was excellent, just behind the waterfront with its many cafes and able to sit and watch the sunset. It was an easy walk to the old town which is much nicer than Pula. So glad we stayed here instead of Pula.

A super boutique hotel.very friendly staff who spoke excellent english. Very clean. Our room was large with a wonderful view over the harbour. Right in the center of the town but still quiet and just slightly off the main tourist track. Good breakfast.highly recommended.would definitely stay there again.
