Lovely staff and wonderful stay

Historic setting was sweet, dining all around, clean secure room and air conditioning was very much appreciated.

10/10 excellent all around stay in center of old town! The host communicated effectively and was very helpful throughout the booking process the cleaning staff was friendly and even had my room rewards before I expected. Highly recommend!!

Darko was great with communication about our questions, directions, and instructions for our arrival. Being in the Center of the old town provided us with many options for dining, shopping and simply being part of the old town vibe. The room was well appointed, and clean. Dario’s mother welcomed us at the parking lot located at her home. Parking in such a secure location was very helpful. If you’re able to negotiate stairs and like a small, quaint room then this is the place for you. Highly recommend Darko’s property.

Darko the property owner was very helpful. He told me about the local area , buses to catch etc. My suitcase was delayed and he organised to have it delivered to my room. It’s nice to find kind people who make a special effort to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The room was very clean, private and had everything you need for a few nights stay. Corner shop with basic groceries 2 minutes down the stairs . I was even offered a late check out without asking. Thank you so much .

Booked free cancellation option, free cancellation strangely ended 1 week before check in. Most places is 1 week. Our flight was cancelled last minute and would not even change the dates despite booking refundable option. I even told them it was a birthday trip and would like to stay on dates when I could get flights but nope. Avoid terrible customer service

Property was clean and homely. Darko was very responsive to our needs. Property is also close to attractions and dining options. Highly recommended for those looking to enjoy Dubrovnik!

Excellent location, room was small but clean. Bedding/pillows can be better though. I requested for an early check in, around 12:00pm given I had an all night flight but couldn’t get the room. That was disappointing for sure

Very friendly and helpful! He helped us with finding and booking and affordable parking less than 10 minutes from the Old town. Parked was in a locked area, so very safe. Nice room in the middle of the old town

Old Town is quite small and walkable in general, so any place in Old Town is a great location. This place was just a stairwell up from a main restaurant street - so in terms of food, it was fantastic. It's about 1.5 streets up from the main street - so it feels like a bit of a climb on a hot day. Darko was a very friendly and helpful host - very responsive on messaging. The room was very nice and had a very good shower. The boiler didn't seem to keep very much hot water, so it did cool down after 2 quick showers - but the weather was extremely hot while we were there, so not too much of a problem. The room doesn't get any sun, so the room is quite cool even without the A/C on. There is a small clothes line outside the window with a few pegs - just watch out for anyone who might be sitting on the stairs under the window. There is also a small communal kitchenette outside the room.

Really nice room, well styled, comfy bed. Located in old town so close to everything. Beware if you have heavy bags though, climbing stairs to get there is unavoidable (same for most places in old town). Owner was very helpful

Darko was the best host, he came to pick me up from the bus station himself even tough it was close to midnight. The room was really nice and right in the center of old town. Couldn't have asked for a better Guest house in Dubrovnik.

He inquired my arrival time, accommodated me at my Uber drop off, helped me with my luggage, showed me the apartment, told me how to get around, recommended a couple of restaurants… from the beginning to the end, he is always standby and answered all the silly questions I had, with 100% patience…the apartment is very close to Pile gate, few mins walk, and inside the old town. Ps. The room can be slightly dark during the day. So if you have a tour at 6am, I recommend you open the blinds to let some lights in, so you don’t miss your wake up time. Overall, I highly , highly recommended ! Thank you, Darko ! You are the best !!!

Property was clean and well maintained. Darko was especially helpful. Very comfortable and quiet. Only downside is property is up about 35 sometimes steep and uneven block stone steps & no handrails.

Great location. The apartment was awesome and the host was very friendly. Though if you are tall let the host know so that he can save one of the rooms with a high ceiling for you.

Host Darko was so helpful. The apartment is on a street with a lot of steps. He helped me carry my luggage up all the steps, and even showed up at checkout to help me carry it back down. I had the single apartment, which is perfect for a solo traveler. GORGEOUS street in the heart of Old Town.

What a brilliant location! Right in the middle of the Old Town city walls. A lovely old, well converted city home with ensuite bathroom. All of the accommodation within the city walls are up step steps so be ready to climb! Parking was available nearby which was needed as parking in the city would have been expensive. A great overnight stay.

This place is perfect if you’re planning to stay for a few days in Dubrovnik. Darko was really helpful since the beginning, he received us with a bottle of water at the entrance and show us in the map the main attractions to visit. The place is really comfortable, smells really good, was perfectly clean and it has a small kitchen to keep your things in the fridge. Air conditioner is a life saver from the Croatian temperature in summer :P

The accommodation was fantastic. Darko and his mom were very good hosts. He picked us up from the Pile gate and walked us to the property. We appreciated the laundry his mom did. Location is perfect. I would definitely recommend this to those who don’t mind walking up steps.
