Super comfortable bed! Very close to restaurant within walking distance. Enjoyed have a fridge in the room. Thanks for a restful night.

I let hotel management know that our refrigerator was not working and she had it replaced within a couple of hours. The bathroom was recently remodeled, so that was especially nice. We are a family of 5 so having three queens in the room was great.

The hosts were very friendly. The area is very close to Canatara beach and waterfront area next to the US border. It is also close to a mall for shopping. The room was big enough. Only issue was the window air conditioner which was a bit loud and air was not cool enough.

At our overnight stay within the Gables Inn we enjoyed our overall stay. The rooms were newly updated (we had 2) the beds were comfortable and there was lots of room for activites indoors. The only downfall with the Gables inn is that it’s broadcasted their is a pool for swimming and to our surprise when we arrived it looked like the pool had been closed for many years and instead built a small jungle gym next to it meaning it should have been removed from the ad. The lady working the front desk was friendly and answered any questions we had.

Perfectly fine for just me for a night. Yeah, it’s not a Hilton, but NO bugs, mattress fine. Door deadbolt didn’t work, and there’s no other interior chain, but I’m a guy, so I was fine with just the door handle lock. May be more nervous if I were female (but then I’d just ask to change rooms - I’m sure plenty of others have a working deadbolt). Would stay again.

This is a basic property which suited our overnight requirements. We did miss having a coffee pot. It was quiet and the location was convenient. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Property was great, but there seems to be a problem with the Expedia booking system . Found an attractive price for this , but by the time I got to check out the price had greatly increased.
Same kind of problem with my stay at Great Lakes Inn & Suites in South Haven , MI. Low price to draw you in, but much higher price at check out.

we arrived late and the staff was very friendly, accommodating.
The pictures that I viewed on-line showed a nice outdoor pool, the pool looks like it hasn't been used in years, the property around the pool was over grown, unkept. Our stay was in August (it was hot) the room was stuffy, hot. the fridge was unplugged. the A/C was a window unit and it didn't provide much cool air, plus if the drape covered the A/C so you had to figure out how to tie back the drape for to get the slight cool air. 2 queen size beds, the sat on them and they squeaked. Bed spreads were old and stiff - extremely disappointed.

Beware. This is a terrible experience. The door to the room wouldn’t lock , the pillows were all stained , holes in the comforter , it’s balls under the bed , not even had the clock plugged in , power in the bathroom didn’t work, no blow dryer. Over all it’s my worst experience and I travel for work as I’m a sales rep and stay at many hotels

The staff allowed us to register early in the morning as our schedule changed making our arrival hours earlier than the published check in time. The Gable's staff were very flexible.
The motel is right beside John's restaurant, one of the best family eatery in Ontario.

Crooks run this place. I chose to pay in cash. She wanted a little extra, more than the hotels.ca price was. Then a while after my stay I got an email from hotels.ca saying they were sorry that my plans changed. This means that the place tried to get away without paying hotels.ca their share. I will be notifying hotels.ca about this and gables Inn won't be getting away with this!

in the room there was a smell of curry too strong and the heating too low .. it was very cold

It was nice they gave us a kitchenette room which we didn’t book but enjoyed being able too cook, they have some full time residents there that really hurt their business from making it not enjoyable to sit outside , and loud with fights at night time

The carpet was not clean, something in the air made me sick. I got asthma.They did not made the bed the next day. I think this was a motel, on the Expedia site I did not notice that and I went with my mother, she was not comfortable with this hotel.Expedia should specify when it is a hotel or a motelThank you

It was easy to find. Reasonably priced. Close to other amenities. Rooms were relatively clean. Lots of parking. Could use a few upgrades. All in all was a nice place to stay

Room was dirty, towels stained and overall unkept. Not sure if I was sleeping on a mattress or braided rope. Steps in winter from driveway to the front motel door was not shoveled.

There was nothing to like about this property. We did not even stay there. What a waste of money and my 8000 points to!!!!
It smelled so bad and was gross and dirty!!
People were actually living there in some of the rooms. Prostitution was a big issue as well. Discussing place.
