Amazing property, at the foot of the mountain. It was lovely to get into the pool after a long day of sight seeing. Oriana and Nicé are great hostesses, making sure we have everything we need. Delicious breakfast!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel is situated around 20 minutes drive outside of santa Cruz, in wonderful surroundings and beautiful gardens. Check in was polite, informative and friendly. There is a lovely pool area, and tea/coffee was available at all times in the main building. The bungalow room was comfortable, with a nice bed, TV and good size bathroom. This was cleaned daily. The breakfast was nice and filling. The hot tub is available for hire, at a small cost. It was wonderful to relax in here under the stars. The reception lady was very kind and helpful in organising a number of activities for us. She was excellent. The only minor negative was poor WiFi, which may be important to some people. However, this place is best for relaxation and forgetting about work! I would definitely recommend this place and the price was fair for a fantastic service and experience.

The pool and gardens are stunning and really well done. The only distraction is some noise from the nearby road. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the breakfasts are delicious.Our main disappointment is the room we had was very dark and a bit tired. Its very clean, but theres too much furniture, some of it a bit worn, and little things dont work like the bedside lamp and you cant pull the blinds up to let in any light. Overall a good stay, but not amazing as wed hoped from the reviews. The neighbors dog also likes to bark early in the morning. Often not for long, but sometimes for more than 1 hour at sunrise.

Beautiful cabins, great location next to the river...family cabin could be a little bigger but nice overall

The hotel was excellent but very difficult to find as it was not in Santa Cruz. It would have been useful to know that it was several miles from the town. However the surroundings were beautiful and it was a quiet and peaceful environment. The staff, particularly Sara, were extremely helpful.

The hotel is in a beautiful location a little out of town. The staff is very friendly and helped schedule tours before I arrived. The restaurant recommendations were very good and their own food service was good and reasonably priced.

+Pros Very kind and friendly staff. Quiet and peaceful place. Cozy rooms with good ambience. Close to the city of Santa Cruz. - Cons None. *FYI, WiFi was a bit slow in a guest room. Some people may consider this as cons but I would not.

Bellavista de Colchagua is an absolutely outstanding property beautifully managed by Chilean hoteliers and hosts Mauricio and Oriana. I am a travel professional and I have to say this is one of the most delightful properties I have ever stayed at, thanks to the setting, the lovely rooms, and the cordiality of Maurcio and Oriana who take great pride in their property and made us feel at home

We had a great visit at Bellavista. The staff was wonderful and friendly, and the food on site is like having a home cooked meal. The location is beautiful, and our kids especially enjoyed the pool. I highly recommend for a family friendly or romantic getaway in the wine region.

What a find! This place absolutely made our trip. We saw many different parts of Chile and stayed in various types of accommodations, but this place was by far the best. Very charming rooms (we stayed in a 2-room suite with friends), lovely grounds, sparkling pool, neat hot tub made from a wine vat, even a couple of friendly dogs to keep us company. Staff was awesome! Friendly and helpful; they set up reservations for us at the local wineries and restaurants, and even had one of the wineries come to the B&B for a personal tasting. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the Santa Cruz area.

(There are some newer rooms near the pool that appear to be larger.) I found the pillows very uncomfortable (I prefer soft pillows and these were very hard). Since we were there only one night I did not ask if they might have others. There is wifi but it didnt work very well. We were told it was because of the location, in a small valley. The B&B is located about 10 km outside of Santa Cruz. If you want dinner, it is necessary to go into Santa Cruz. Despite these minor issues, we would stay there again if we visit the Cholcugua wine region.

We had a wonderful stay highly recommend for those who would enjoy nature and wilderness around 15 kilometers from Monte's winery our final destination had trouble getting out of Santa Cruz nothing to do with the hotel

Went to explore the Chochagua valley with a couple of girlfriends for a couple of days before heading back to Santiago. What a treat to come across this amazing B&B. The website does not do it justice. Upon entering the property, you are greeted by incredible landscaping and a friendly owner with a big smile, Oriana. Our check-in a smooth and fast after a long trip from the Vina del Mar. We stayed in the three bedroom apartment and it was worth every penny. We liked the privacy feature between our room to the living room. Rooms were a good size and which gave us plenty of room to move around. Rooms were equipped with tv, cable, fan and storage space for your bags. Never felt stuffy or cramp in rooms. Outside they had a lovely size pool, plenty of chairs to lounge around in, an open area close by where you could bbq, play ping pong or just enjoy the beautiful weather. Staff was friendly throughout our entire stay. Santa Cruz is about a 10-15 minute ride from B&B and taxi was easy to get and reasonable pricing. Justed wanted to mention there is a rooster next door, so you may get waken up by him but we thought it was most charming. We were in Chile for a week, did Santiago, Vine del Mar and overwhelming thought this B&B was our #1 experience. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful location garden & facility about 5 miles west of Santa Cruz with pool. Owner speaks very good English & responds promptly to Emails. If visiting Chile for the first time ensure you have Chilean pesos before leaving the Airport as Highway 5 from Santiago is a excellent toll road but not cheap. & they will not take US dollars as we found! Only criticism we had was that the rooms were a little small but adequate. Would stay there again.. ..

Beautiful location, close to many wineries. Lovely, clean room with wood burning stove that was the wonderful. Owner and staff very helpful in organising tours and meals. Definitely would return here again.

People tend to stay at the hotel in Santa Cruz, but why do that when you have a place like Bellavista, just 10 minutes away? Great location, great family running it, clean, comfortable and large rooms. Much recommended as a base for a visit to the many vineyards in the area. And after the tours it's perfect to relax in the swimming pool in the lovely garden.
