Close to de beach

Great location and price, but noisy at night. Good for under 30 years old and backpacking.

I checked out a day early because parking was $110 for 24 hours. The staff and stay was perfect. It got me out of my shell and forced me share space and be social everyone was nice. The staff professional and nice

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean and tidy. Most of the other guests were friendly.

Chris at the desk is awesome. He loves his job, was eager to share tips and best practices to get the best of of our stay. Our room looked out towards to sea and it was just gorgeous! Breath of fresh air. We will be back!

Very clean and friendly staff. I felt safe.

Sadly the pictures don't match with what I got, I had DRY BLOOD on my sheets, very bad isolation on the rooms, no ladder to get up on the bed so if you're tiny good luck getting up there. Very disappointed. There are 2 types of hostels; and even if the location is absolutely perfect, I can't say this is a good one. Pretty expensive for what you get, save yourself sometimes and look elsewhere !

No outside window, loud, poor electrical outlets. Good location, fine staff

I loved staying here it was my first time staying in a hostel and will be coming back staff and other guest were so nice. Can’t wait for the next trip

Place was amazing! great staff they maintained a safe environment while makeing everyone feel comfortable and welcome! A few people usually meet up at lounge area and go do activities together definitely a great place to meet friends and members of opposite sex. I had an amazing time and left with new amazing friends! Fresh breakfast every morning! Best hostle experience by far!

I really like coming here. It's a bit off beat, which makes it relaxing to me, people being able to be themselves. And of course, the location right by the water is wonderful! Beautiful sunsets and strolls on Venice Beach Walk ...

It is good to start your vacation in the USA at this spectac. Place. Meeting friendly nice good people young people with conciousness of mother earth and good feeling of rollernlades or skating and music. Enjoy this wonderful place at the pacific ocean.

It’s a hostel in a good location if your focus is Venice beach.

Personally prefer more firmer mattress, but overall value is more than what you pay.

Absolutely wonderful! Would definitely recommend. As a solo traveller, one of my biggest fears is finding a safe accomodation. Things aren't really as they seem online. But Samesun exceeded my expectations! I got a all women dorm and I shared it with a couple of other solo backpackers. It has been a wonderful experience.

Bleu and Heather and Gustavo were excellent host... Very Grateful.
