Amazing experience in Hennan Alona, Staff was very friendly and welcoming, Food was great, and the property itself was very clean. The only disappointing part of the trip is leaving.

I like the pool area.. many choices and the view.. stunning.. the concierge Mel is ver warm and welcoming.. the is good.. and clean..breakfast was good also and services Except the bar area near on the beach.. I order the drinks so late.. and understand has guests.but everyone in the bar is busy and him just busy using phone.His name is Welmar can’t forget.. I ask him my drink but busy on his phone.

In my time, I have traveled to many places, including living in London for 3 years, Henann Resort Alona Beach is the best resort I have ever stayed. Exceptional service was provided by all the serving staff, this includes the security services team. Food and drink, perfection!!!
Henann is very large, and most of the employees would call us by name and others called us “Villa 1”, lol. With the exception of the front desk and lobby, this was the best experience of my life.
I have to call out the Sea Breeze bar, at the pools by the beach, service was beyond perfect! Every day for 2 weeks we spent most of our time, while at the resort, at this bar and pools around it. Exceptional service provided by, but not limited to: Titus, Ramon, Dhreen, Jess, Carl and the Whole team there!!! And another shout out to Daniel, JunMark, and NelJhun and the Coral Café staff for their excellent service. JunMark was nothing less than great, making sure we got a good table with a view every single day for two weeks. Not to mention, he made sure we got our potatoes!!! Furthermore, Daniel (whom we fell in love with) was such an amazing server, we never had to ask for our daily special requests, since he was on top of it every time, he knew what we wanted every morning, our cappuccinos and orange juice with ice.
Atmosphere was incredible and service was out of this world. I spent a small fortune, lol, but when you have this much fun at 1 place, money is not an issue, Money well spent! We had

This is a great family-friendly resort but if you're also going as a couple (like we did), they have adult-only pools and the resort is so big that you never have to fight over space. The resort is also located in the centre of Bohol so extremely convenient to pop out to get water, food etc. instead of having to rent a trike every time.

Henan Resort was clean and friendly, but it was a pity that the expensive accommodation cost and breakfast were disappointing. And it was uncomfortable to have to wait for an hour for check-in and there was no laundry room. And I stayed on the 7th, but it was a pity that there were no free pick-ups and drops. I hope to make more diverse customer-specific services

On the beach and beautiful property. Staff is great. Dining and food options at the hotel were ok. They can't deviate from the menu at all. We ordered a BLT ricotta pizza and asked if they could add olives and they would not do it. Not an option to pay more for it. They had a banana shake and a strawberry shake on the menu, but they will not do a strawberry banana shake. Kind of weird.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time with my husband for 2 nights. It was going smoothly & nice during our check out until on our way going to the port a front desk lady called me that I have to pay for the extra bed that they did not pull out. My niece slept over with us for one night & I paid 2,352 pesos for her one night stay with us. I said at the front desk lady before I pay that She will stay over only for one night and they put extra bed for her. Now! The front desk lady wanted me to pay for one more night because they did not remove the extra bed the night before that my niece used.
Had to be careful in dealing like this in the future. Because this hotels will always finding ways to suck your money.💯✅

Potentially a very nice resort, however lots of strict rules due to major Korean people occupancy (example: sunbeds cannot be moved out of shades if they're not falling within a straight line with the others) and some major misunderstanding/unclearness on extras payments mechanism. There is no clear way to debit everything to check out and sometimes you feel being chased after for payments.
Amenities are good and new all over, but the beach itself was seaweeds infested and pretty dirty.
We didn't enjoy much diving in the sea to be honest and it was a shame, Alona Beach was recommended to us for being the best beach in the island multiple times.
All considered, there's definitely much improvement in the offer quality/rate ratio in our opinion,as the nightly rate is definitely not cheap for the island (probably the most expensive)

The Henann villas in Alona are our home for a few days when we visit family in Bohol. My little one and I can enjoy the small pool 24/7, which perfectly accommodates our wake times from jet lag.
The staff has been friendly (improved over the years), and the response time to phone calls and issues have been quicker.
The only thing I would suggest and wish is for the return of the breakfast buffet for their Villa guests at Christina’s café (instead of at the current general buffet places at the Coral and Sea Breeze locations).
Also, they should accomodate more for minors who are staying at the Villa when it comes to using (and enjoying) the Lounge.
Maybe use the outdoor part of the Lounge for those adults who are drinking alcoholic beverages, and allow kids to use the indoor/air conditioned space?
The current situation I find to be too discriminating for kids and for the guest families who are staying at the Villa.
I strongly suggest a more FAMILY-friendly setup.

Location of the property is close to airport ( < 10 min.)
Right on the beach and can walk along the beach to find restaurants if you want cheaper or more choices than your hotel.
Breakfast was ok - not great but not bad
Rooms were spacious and comfortable
Lots of pools for swimming / relaxing and spending time by the beach especially until midnight with the bar

Food ( lunch and dinner) could be better. It was tasteless and not well done in some cases. Desserts and fruit choices were great. They force you to eat 1 dinner atleast in the property and for a vegetarian this a waste since it was buffet style.
Rooms were a bit outdated especially the bathrooms . Also most deluxe rooms don’t have a great view.
Overall stay was ok but would definitely look at newer properties given the choice.

Henann is one of my most favorite resorts! Our room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious! They have 4 restaurants, pool bars and room service was awesome! The pools were amazing, 4 large ones. My most favorite is the beachfront infinity pool. They’re closed late so you can enjoy after tours to unwind. This place is great for the whole family.

The property was beautiful and well kept to the smallest detail. The resort staff in every area were extremely courteous, helpful, and friendly. This is the best resort we ever stayed at. It was was a privilege being a guest and we will definately be back hopefully in the same Villa.
