We had a great stay, some nice extras like a pot of fudge in room and chilled bottled water. Very friendly people, great surroundings and excellent breakfast

Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Great location close to Dartmoor. Our room opened out onto the gardens and woods. Went for a walk through the woods to the vineyard. Hearty breakfast every morning. Very welcoming.

A lovely place, very welcoming. A lovely summer room in the garden for an evening drink and relax. Breakfast was great. We only stayed one night but it looked like a really good base to explore the local area from. Would definitely recommend.

From arrival to departure this was a 1st class experience. The hostess was charming, she made sure our stay was memorable. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Our breakfasts were of a high standard. We will definitely be re-visiting.

The property is set in the gorgeous Devon countryside with beautiful views. The gardens are huge and really well kept. There is even a wood to wander in. There were loads of lovely sitting areas in the garden which was much appreciated at the moment when it is so much better to be outside. The rooms were beautifully decorated and included lots of really thoughtful touches. They were also absolutely immaculate and so clean. (Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the room before our stuff was scattered everywhere!) We stayed in the blue family room which has its own garden entrance and in the luxury double the 2nd night which is stylishly decorated and has its own balcony. Jane is a kind and helpful host who is really quick to communicate with. She provided us with loads of great tips about the local area too. The breakfast was really delicious too. Overall a wonderful stay in this little piece of Devon Heaven. We’ll definitely be back.

I had a wonderful stay at Lobhill Farmhouse. I could not fault anything. The room was lovely and comfortable and the hosts were extremely welcoming and helfpul. Freshly home-cooked breakfast a real bonus.

One of the best and will certainly return if in the area and requiring accommodation .. very very good could not be faulted. Thank you Jane.

This was my first time in a bed and breakfast only used to chain hotels. This was fabulous if I return I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stopped here for the night on my way north - whilst the owner was friendly enough my welcome lacked the warmth I had experienced throughout my travels in the UK -a bit cold and unfriendly. It was a windy night and walls were paper thin so I could hear the people in the adjoining rooms and something was rattling and banging on the roof all night so little sleep was had. Breakfast was mediocre - not a patch on other B&Bs I had been to on my travels - overall a little disappointing.

Greeted by a very happy home owner who was exceptionally helpful. The internet was good and the bed was exceptionally comfy!

Touch difficult to find at very end of village on winding road with no pavement or ready stopping point to search. Very satisfactory for my purpose - a two day stay. Good value overall

Very comfortable and clean. Room cleaned daily. Our lovely host Jane made us most welcome, and provided a great cooked breakfast every day. The BnB within lovely grounds with pretty garden. On the A30, so quick access to Launceston only 6 miles, and okehampton . Quick access to both north and south coasts of Devon. Great local pubs. Friendly locals. I would definitely recommend it.

Broke our journey for one night on the way to Padstow. Very friendly hostess, lovely room, wonderful breakfast. Some superb restaurants nearby for an evening meal and a lovely location. Recommended.

My wife and I had a lovely two-night spur-of the moment stay at Lobhill Farmhouse while exploring Devon and Dartmoor. The property and room was gorgeous and Jane was a wonderful host, despite the extremely short notice. Her full English breakfast was a great way to start the day and the homemade fudge in the room was a great way to end it. We thoroughly recommend Lobhill to anyone looking for a convenient and friendly place from which to explore the Dartmoor area. If were in the area again we will be back to stay.
