It is obvious that the Hotel came into the years. A pitty because it has potential to shine again. Needed restauration or changes are not done in time or at all, staff is enough running arround but a bit headless, training for service needed. Is Not enough to have a Lot of Trainees there If Nobody Show them how to serve and clean correct and keep overview of their Job. I stayed in the Villa with private Pool. Since 10 years, aß i stayed first time, no changes, still the same old death tree in the pot 😂. I didnt had breakfast, Lunch or Dinner booked aß i enjoy more all the good Restaurants arround. Renting of motobike very conveniant at the entry of parking place and Hotel, with reasonable prices. Since i have been over new year, the Dinner Buffet was already included in the price of the stay. The beach was nice but after 25 Meter in the water full of rocks, sunbeds are old and used.

Villa pool room nice and well maintained, could do with larger TV and better light controls.
Clearly this property is still recovering from the COVID shut downs, does need better care of hedges, etc. which make the public areas behind the lobby look unkept.
Limited dining choices at resort and outside, this is a property best visited if you have transport or rent a motorcycle.

The Villa came with a private pool and jacuzzi. Big and spacious room, clean and cozy. Staff were very friendly, the cafe by the beach was great and since it was low season, the beach was peaceful, quiet and clean.

Pros- Travelling with young children I loved that I could sit in the shade near the beach cafe whilst they could play in the sand also in the shade. This was my absolute favourite thing. The pool near the beach was decent and a good temperature. The beach was protected and private and was good for digging and paddling. Breakfast buffet was very good and there was a good amount of seating and choices of food. Our room was a good size and light and airy. The hotel were very helpful when I had a problem with my car.
Cons- the shower temperature was temperamental and often cold, our water went off once totally and the toilet broke on another occasion. This was sorted quickly by the resort. The pool with pool access rooms was very cloudy and green, it seemed to have improved by the end of the week but we didn’t use this.
Overall I would definitely stay again, the staff at the resort were lovely and helpful, the beach and pool and setting were idyllic. My children loved it and didn’t want to leave!

Beds and ac works well, the towels are frayed , the showers need a good cleaning, we had a 4 poster bed but the tv was in middle of a poster , the chairs at the pool and in the room are very uncomfortable, the grounds are not very well maintained, breakfast buffet is good but get there early they don’t replace anything,

I was upgraded to a lovely pool villa. a great option for a family with one or two little ones. they can splash away in the small pool plus there's a jacuzzi to chill out in. The buffet breakfast had options for every palette. The property is definitely feeling the effects of a heavy rainy season, but that will not detract from your stay.

The hotel is fine. The food is fine. The services and amenities are fine. However, everything is overpriced. I am not upset with the hotel - its fine, but it is overpriced. I would not stay here again. You can get more for less at other resorts. This resort is not competitive at all.

Actually, everything was good. Really friendly staff,. Nice room. Well kept and clean. The only problem was that the mattress was extremely hard. Very uncomfortable.

We was have to pay for water, in the rooms was something broken, we didn't have internet and we was telling about that 10times, also was not nice when we was saying that something was not good, personal people was not happy and was saying that is it ours problem.

This hotel was in desperate need of face lift, old and tired, booked for 20 people 17 went, the welcome party was not good ask me to give them 7000baht for breakfast that i had already payed for in full. Totally unacceptable.

Seclude, serenity, peaceful. The room is so cute and feel like home.The bathroom is spacious, very clean. The pool is amazing they have one beachfront pool and one olympic pool. The ben bag at the beach bar is very comfortable. Will definitely come back, strongly recommend for all.

Excellent Hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. It is a bit in a remote location and you definitely need a motobike to be mobile. The beach isn't great so I recommend to drive to another one. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The price for drinks are a bit high (100 baht for a soda water and 150 baht for coffee).

Had a great stay , great service, great food at the beach , the room was worth it , could be a bit more clean but it was still good but it could be more clean specially the jacuzzi , pool was good , jacuzzi was also slow to fill. But I would say over all was very satisfied with everything.

I really enjoy Ms.Okscana (Ukrainian staff), she was really nice to me, she got a big smile and spend taking time with me at anywhere we meet up. I will be coming back again for sure!

The hotel is in a fantastic location right by a beautiful beach. The rooms look fabulous however it is a case of style over substance. The bed is on a platform which means that by the time you’re on the platform you’re effectively lying on the floor. Not much use at 3 am when you want to go for a Pee. Also there were no drawers in our room to store any of our clothes so we lived mainly out of a suitcase.

Located far south of Koh Chang. Not much going on but not far to travel (north or south to Bang Bao or busier beaches/resorts). Resort itself is looking worn/tired - definitely needs a refresh. Food service is good (breakfast specifically). The grounds need some attention. Food in the restaurant is overpriced.

If you are looking for a trip where you stay at the hotel, this hotel is for you. The restaurant, the swimming pools, the beach, etc. Were all really nice. But there are only a few other restaurants nearby. Sure you can take a taxi or rent a scooter. It sure was a four star hotel. If you take this hotel, make sure to visit the restaurant across the street. The sign says "herbal sauna" and "art garden", I think. The food was really good and the owners were really nice and spoke good english. You don't have to worry about getting your stomach upset.

For the most part, I had a wonderful stay at Mercure. The staff were kind and welcoming and the resort amenities were as described and pictured. A couple of drawbacks that were frustrating: After upgrading to a ocean view room, the hot water in the shower was temperamental, despite multiple attempts by the staff to fix it. Additionally, on my last day, as I was checkin out, I learned that the van I scheduled to take me back to the airport had not in fact been booked as I had arranged for at the front desk 2 days prior, leaving me scrambling to find my way back to the airport. Tom, who was at the front desk at that time, was extremely unhelpful and completely unempathetic to the fact that one of his colleagues had made an error. All he offered was a private car that was quadruple the price.

Check in was very basic for a resort. The front desk staff was all business and not very friendly. We requested an ocean view and we were put in the ground floor below and behind the trees. There was very little ocean view. Property very old and worn out. Typical Thai standard. Old and run down.

Kids loved the pool but the decking was in poor shape with loose boards and risk from splinters.
There was a patchy response to requests for room cleaning including room service plates left outside for over 24 hours.
I was not easy to manage two small children on the top floor without a lift.
Hot water flow was not consistent and potentially dangerous when washing children.
Food quality was disappointing but luckily we found nice restaurants close by.
You get the picture! Not what we expected at a Mercure hotel.
