Many beds had no lockable racks/cupboards for keeping bags (essential for all travellers) ... those under-bed baskets that were lockable required a trip to buy a padlock. The bunk lights and socket did not work on most beds. Other guests arrived at 1am and then another group at 2.30am ... didn't really get a night's sleep. And all for €32 ... not cheap at all.

The place smelled like sewer in each floor, the bathroom smell was awful. They provided a thin paper like blanket, I am still wondering why I peeled off the sheets to find human juices like on the mattress. Walls are also paper thin so you can hear everything from the adjacent room. The toilet didn’t have a flushing mechanism. Not even backpacking at “Bob’s Hostel” had such a bad experience. Location is great. I forget, I tried the AC unit, it didn’t work 😳

very dirty place, the air con was not working and leaking, the bathroom is ridiculously dirty, highly not recommend to stay in here, the only good thing is the staff are very friendly.

Employees were fine (I felt sorry for them), though they lied about the warm water getting fixed. Property was not kept up what-so-ever. This owner is a SLUM LORD. The place was run down, dirty and falling apart... no hot water, wifi was spotty and slow, no light to each bed and some did not have working electrical outlets. And the place is not that cheap either. SHAME ON THE OWNER. Especially compared to what else is on the market.... you've been warned... stay away from this place .

No possibility to lock your things in the bedroom.
All my things in the kitchen were gone within 2 hours. You get a card, but the downstairs door, leading to the bedrooms and kitchen was never locked.
The room door had to be unlocked every time. That's good!
The kitchen was full with a lot of strange people when I came back. There are 3 fridges, all of them not clean, no possibility to write your name or date with an edding. Fridges we're all full, with a lot of old stuff in there. Noone seems to bother.
There is free coffee downstairs, that is cold and can be heared with the microwave. For me a No-Go. I rather have instant coffee.
When I complained and asked for a reimbusement of my money because all my things in the kitchen got Stolen, they first said yes and then said no.
Would I stay there again? No!

The air conditioning in our room was broken, we did not sleep at night at all. The second day they have changed our room were the air conditioning was working, but stuck on a colder temperature, so, again we did not sleep well. The rooms, the bathroom and the hostel were not clean and everything was old. The only good thing was the breakfast, that was only 2.5 euros with a basic breakfast.

The place has no parking. You can park in a place near by but it cost a-lot. Got a 4 bed room- verrryy small. No windows. No air. Felt like a jail cell.the bath had realy bed smell. Couldn't saty there. Left after 5 min

Hostel staff is extremely nice and welcoming. Vibe of the hostel however is not too nice with some shady people, I would advice female solo travellers to book a female dorm here.

Probably the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at. There was black mold in the shower and no toilet paper in the and stains all over the mattresses

This hostel is a big and busy, yet the customer chief was so kind to rebook my schedule several times during the stay! Awesome customer service. Tou will meet a lot off people here, and it's really close to most places.

Then checking out they struggled giving me back my 5 euro deposot after giving them a key back so very very stressful dealing with lazy unqualified unorganized spain

Very convenient, nice cheap breakfast €2.50Arrived at 1.30 am and left at 7.45 am, so I was only there 6 hours but it was perfect for a quick sleep and go.

Very poor condition,we got the one towel each person from the counter.
We deposit 5 Euro for towels. When we check out we take off sheet from the bed return with towel. I don"t recommend this hotel to other people.

The location is good and the staff were friendly. I was in a dormitory for 10 people on the ground floor. I’ve never tried staying in hostels before and for me I didn’t like not having privacy. I was travelling alone on this trip and am an older woman so I chose not to stay there for my holiday - the train to The costa del sol is cheap and reliable so I found alternative accommodation and commuted into Malaga to visit the attractions- I stayed half an hour away in Benalmádena
