Surrounding areas are not safe.

Friendly, polite staff always ready to help.
Breakfast arrangements were excellent. A variety of choice for all tastes.
A very central location, 15 minutes walk from the Old Port.
We had a room with a balcony, which on reflection was an excellent choice. Refreshingly cool to sit out, in the shade, at the end of a warm afternoon.

The room itself was good. The hotel was in great condition, the breakfast was good, the staff were friendly... the area however was not great. Much of the area had sketchy, loud people hanging around. It was dirty, the "fresh air" stunk so badly I felt nauseous. As much as I liked the hotel, I would not go back.

I was surprised to see the doors in the apartment. It was compact and seemed to have everything I need.

Property old and dirty. Photos on expedia does not meet our expectations

Very comfortable room in an excellent location for rail travellers, and for Vieux Port.
Lovely bed, excellent self-catrring facilities: excellent breakfast room

Nice place, clean, spacious rooms with practically fully equipped albeit a small kitchen, everything in working order. Friendly stuff, good breakfast.
The area seems to be not exactly unsafe, but a bit creepy. Dirty streets. But otherwise - very convenient location, close to the railway/bus station, metro and to the main attractions.

Needs to improve room cleaning service

I needed a room with two twins since I was traveling with my dad and they did nothing to help. I didn’t even stay there and they still charged me. I would never recommend anyone to stay here! NH collection up the street is sooo much better and only slightly more expensive

Nice hotel near the train station, the old port, and many attractions to visit❤️
4.0 / 5.0
Very basic property with all-white, but large, room - no decoration of any kind. Everything works quite well and the staff is pleasant and supportive. The breakfast is very good for the price: egg boiler; lightest ever croissants, otherwise basic stuff. Best advantage is proximity to the train station. Balcony is nice, but only a tree to see.

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is at walking distance from the train station, as well as the old port area. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed comfortable.

The room was disgusting- overall old and not remodeled, dust on top of counter, chair and kitchen area. The dishes in the cabinet had dried bits of food, mildew and mold in bathroom, toilet seat had not been cleaned, the bathroom door didn’t even shut, and it was extremely noisy from the street noise. It was clear that they don’t care about the quality of rooms. Over priced too - stay away from this hotel.

Very big room with essentials plus kitchen and balcony with sunset view. It was very clean but almost felt like a hospital. Easy access to train station and centre ville even if the surrounding area isn’t the nicest part of town. Good value for money overall, especially at the last minute.

Good location close to station and old port, good boulangerie on port de aix road. Loved the balcony

The hotel is relatively close to museums and the port of Marseille. Parking however is another story. Parking throughout Europe is tough, but I chose this hotel because I rented a car to drive across the south of France. The hotel offers individual locking garages under the hotel, but nowhere to pull in safely to get the keys and garage door opener. You have to block part of the street and put on your flashers, which apparently everyone there has little issue with. Add to that, the language barrier speaking with the front desk and I found the process extremely difficult and trying. In the end, I was able to get my keys and a parking spot, but the whole process left a bad taste in my mouth. I found the room comfortable and clean and the hotel was nice a quiet.

I would give this stay a 5/5. From the cleanliness and comfort of the room to the location was just a huge plus. Minute walk away from old port and numerous restaurants, reception staff were polite and very helpful and I loved knowing our car was safe in the car park . Will definitely recommend and stay again .

The room itself was very clean however the communication from their reception was incredibly poor. They accidentally charged my card for another booking which I don't understand as the name on my card and ID did not even match the other person. They took forever in refunding me. I had to call multiple times and every time they said "tomorrow". Finally after two weeks or so, I received my refund. The manager contacted me via email and let me know. The area seems unsafe for a group of girls, so we made sure we returned before sunset to be safe.

We really liked the room!! Very clean and good-sized room. The reception area and staff were very nice and helpful. It's located close to the train station so it is very convenient for taking the train to Paris or other areas. However, the area around the hotel isn't the greatest. A few unfavorable characters close by and not great dining selections near by. Convenient for a 1 night stop over.

In over 30 years of travelling around the world this is the 1st time a guest has entered the room I'm staying in. Yes, another guest had been issued with a key to my room and as I packed to leave in the morning I heard what I thought was housekeeping trying to enter even though I had left the Do Not Disturb sign out overnight. No, it was a Scandinavian man. His laughable response to me was 'but this is my room' - he was checking in. Who checks in at 11am (check out was 12pm)? And who issues room keys to rooms already occupied and paid for by somebody else? What if I had been out for a walk and the guy comes in and steals my stuff? Laptops? Totally SCANDALOUS by the staff. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We booked 3 rooms and all of them had mold and brown stains on the walls. One of the drawers had vomit stains in it. One of the toilet rolls had blood stains on it. Overall, really run-down outdated hotel that doesn't look like it's been taken care of. Luckily we were only staying for 1 night, even so we couldn't wait to leave next morning. Good location and rooms were a good size but would not recommend and would not book again because of how dirty everything was. We chose this hotel for the cooking facilities but even the microwaves were disgusting and stained.

Great location , a few minutes walk from train station. 15 to 20 min walk to port. Enjoyed having a balcony with view of Arc de Triomphe. Great little kitchenette , everything you need to prepare breakfast or light meals . Quiet .

Good value for what you get although the two nights we stayed their wifi wasn’t working.

The area where it is located is very dangerous and unsafe. Very noisy, no A\C because from October to Spring they are on Heating system!! It was about 30 Celsius when I was there on October 14th…. Sweaty night!
Never going back.

A bit run down. Only convenience is close to train station.

The location is excellent— just down the street from the train and close to restaurants and shopping. The bed was comfortable and having a kitchen is a plus. Some of the furnishings like the drapes need to be updated. I would stay here again.

A practical choice for a short stay. Spotlessly clean room. Comfortable bed, great shower. Pillows too soft, but that a personal preference. The biggest bonus for us was that it's 150 yds from the station, very convenient for the airport bus at 4.3am. The neighbourhood has nothing to offer. Quite seedy. Fast food only.

That was good in general, but I found it a little annoying to have to pay the hotel taxes separately... even if it was 2 Euros!

Good location near Gare St Charles and a 15 min walk into the center. The flat was clean and comfortable, well-furnished. The lobby/reception area was pleasant and clean. The small balcony had a table and 2 chairs. The airconditioning worked well but I was happy to be able to get some fresh air in through the balcony doors.

Great experience. So nice to get away. Rooms were spacious and having a kitchenette was perfect. My only negative remarks :
-Because of covid, they are no longer holding baggage, so I had to pay a company at the train station because I arrived early before check in. The day of check out, I carried my bags with me throughout the town which was annoying. Since when are bags coughing and sneezing?
-The “double bed” was two twins tied together and one could easily feel the separation. I couldn’t sleep in the middle and was forced to sleep on one side. I might as well of had the twin. I know a lot of hotels do this, but I still think they could have put a mattress pad over it.
-It was clear the room had been cleaned and in general, it was clean. I would never say that it was “spotless.” I found some hair, dust, rust stains, water spots that I thought could have been removed, but maybe that’s what to expect from a 3 star hotel?
Despite these critiques, I had a great time. The room was comfortable, the WiFi and the A/C worked great, there was room to move, it smelled nice, was generally clean, and service was not exceptional, but satisfactory.

Spent one night. Great room, great balcony, nice tub. Very clean. That they called me a second time on their wake-up call saved me from missing my flight. The night receptionist did not speak english, but he was very nice and made sure to understand what I tried to say nevertheless.

Car parking was very confusing and surrounding area was very dirty
