Staff was friendly during check in. They did an amazing job with decorating ross petals on our bed. Although our biggest issue is the stained sheets! We had to ask like 3 times for them to finally change our sheets and the “new clean pair” they gave us had even more stains! So we asked again and they seemed annoyed. You also have to ask a few times for them to clean your room. The bathroom does get extremely hot. Breakfast was basic nothing special. We stayed at Natya Hotel in Kuta which was only about $20 a night and that place was way more clean and had a way better breakfast selection even though we paid around $55 for this place. The pool was big and nice be careful of bugs and especially spiders everywhere. They also have a shuttle service but the down side is you cannot contact them once they drop you off. We were harassed by the taxi drivers around 20 of them and just wanted to go back to the hotel but no way to contact them. I would not stay here again.

The hotel was very nice, in great shape and the hotel area was very relaxing and calm. We were there with our daughter who is almost two years old and the kid area in the swimming pool was very nice. The hotel offers free yoga twice a week and their breakfast buffet didn’t need anything. In additional their juices and smoothies were delicious. The hotel offers shuttle in to the city Ubud, by light traffic it takes around 10-15 min. We would definitely come back.

1 problem was: at 5 AM cleaning /wiping of the street outside just in front of rooms wake people up! Too early to make noise. Also thin walls in rooms- you can hear neighbors talk. But other things are good: nice and spaceous room, good breakfast, green surrounding frindly staff.

My husband & I spent 3 days at Bhuwana Ubud & had a great time. It is a well maintained property with lots of beautiful trees & a lovely clean pool. The room was quite spacious with comfortable beds & soft pillows. As for the bathroom it was nice & clean but the shower wasn’t great. The food was prepared with fresh vegetables & fruit from their garden so we enjoyed it very much. The staff were very friendly & helpful too. We would definitely recommend this place to holiday makers who enjoy a peaceful & tranquil environment surrounded by nature.

Very beautiful hotel close to the center of Ubud (5 minutes drive). The staff is giving their best to please the guests needs and are very professional. I can definitely recommend a stay in Bhuwana!

Before going into the review, keep in mind that Ubud isn’t “urban”, so it’s not fair to expect amenities and facilities such as business class hotels in the locality. That being said, Bhuwana did make our stay as comfortable as possible. Decent food (includes vegetarian options), quick room service and satisfactory room. No iron box/locker/hairdryer - but we were able to call up reception and borrow them. At the end of the day, it was a fairly decent stay with no regrets!

Relaxing & quiet property in Ubud. Pool is fantastic. Food is really good with variety. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is outdated and needs an upgrade. Minimal hot water in the shower was disappointing though. *4/5 rating

Great facilities, including some that are free so definitely take advantage. The breakfast had some really great options as well, a nice variety. We couldn’t believe what bargain we got for the room, we ended up extending our stay. The bed was so comfy, had the best night sleep in Bali there - the surrounding was so tranquil, all you could hear was crickets which was almost soothing. The bathroom is a little dated and could do with an update but it’s clean and has everything you need. I would highly recommend to my friends and anyone else to stay here.

Loved it was out of Ubud and rural and staff so helpful and nothing a problem. Great free shuttle service Only downside would be the pool decking is shocking it needs a major renovation.

Hotel a bit tired but the staff was always there to help they’re all wonderful

We had great stay, and it’s so good to see a hotel take steps towards sustainability. The refill water tap was really good. Location was great; free shuttle but also less than 30minute stroll to the centre. We were disappointed that the yoga classes were only twice a week as we would have loved to go.

The place grows its own food which is really cool. However the nature walk felt like there could be room for improvement. The free classes and knowledge about the shows in Ubud could be improved.

Although it is a serene and relaxing environment, there is only 1 WiFi box for the ENTIRE resort. Rooms infested with ants Report must have poor septic. Because the whole place smells like a toilet filled with poop. Massages are good. I did not get any other spa treatments such as a hair wash, facial or manicure/ pedicure because the polish looked old and worn and Their “spa” is not much of a spa. It’s a shack. Breakfast is each day from 0730-1100 and costs 100,000 to per person. The restaurant is open unto 10pm and still has a decent food selection throughout the day. No alcohol. I had a king size suite for myself and my two kids and each day I had to call reception because they would take all my towels when cleaning even if they were hung up. I was still left with only 1 or 2 towels. Never enough for the number of people the room was booked for. Never. Not in my 10 day stay. I swear. The staff is extremely SLOW. If you request bikes, expect to sit and wait. If you request more towels, expect to sit and wait, if you request more coffee packs in your room, request to sit and wait and always receive the bare Minimum. Paper thin walls. You can hear people in the next room during their casual conversations.

All over fair hotel with friendly and polite staff. Only decent breakfast. Very good with the free shuttle bus service. Night/morning staff at reception spoke poor English and wasn’t helpful at all. This happened on several occasions. Upon check out we felt suspected when one of the employee thought we had stolen stuff when he observed the room before letting us go. Strange way of them to end our stay and all we can remember is distrust.

Quiet, friendly, easy-going, the pool is lovely to laze around, and the hotel is far enough away from the roads so you don't hear any scooter noise!
