They having a pool construction till 2025. It is hard to enjoy the beach. The sound of the waves when all that construction is going on. I really enjoy the ocean but unfortunately due to the construction I couldn’t. The prices for the room are low but what they charge for parking per day makes up for the discount they offer.

let me start by saying the staff was over-the-top friendly and responsive. Yet, pool and hot tub under construction, jackhammers started at 8 AM and were mind blowingly loud in the restaurant at 330 PM - took a long time to shake the headache. No caffeinated coffee and tv settings required tech help twice (either need directions or to upgrade - really? tv should not be complicated). Pillow case was stained and sink didn't drain. No beach towels and path to beach routed around construction. I have high standards for Marriott and this was not a quality experience. Dropping the spa fee was nice but there wasn't a pool, towels or really a spa anyway.

I appreciate you reaching out to start off i had higher expectations when i arrived based on the pictures presented online i wish there was a disclaimer stating the pictures are from the remodel hotel because the room we stayed in did not look anything like the pictures. We were charged a resort fee for services such as wifi and other unusable commodities like the bikes which were rusted and the wifi did not work even to check emails or phone calls. When we booked we weren’t told about possible construction one of the reasons we booked a vacation with you guys is because of the name marriott and the top notch service. We would have appreciated if we were told about the pool closure prior to our booking even on third party websites since we booked through expedia. We even checked the hotel website to ensure a smooth service but alas we weren’t warned early enough i would like to know when was the update made to your hotel website about the pool closure so i can talk to expedia see if they can rectify our situation. Overall i would like to say your staff Fernando, Nicola and peruvian guy at the beach shack were exceptional and made our time there better.

No indication pool amd half of hotel would be closed due to renovation. Staff at check in was rude and there were no carts for all our luggage and no one offered to help or go find a cart for us. Will not go back to this hotel or any Marriott hotel chain.

If you’re looking for a true Marriott property this NOT it! After being told our room was ready and. To come to the property we were made to wait four hours for a room only to get a dirty room. Shower had previous guest soap and debris in drain. A strobe light from the fire alarm was going off all night and the front desk clerk just shamed me that I didn’t want a stranger in my room at 2am to “try and fix it” everyone was rude and had no interest in customer satisfaction. The pools and spa were closed and we were not informed by Hotels.com or Marriott and they also shamed us for not knowing this instead of being apologetic and accommodating in another way. I would say stay ANYWHERE but here in Ft Lauderdale/Pompano Beach area.

Booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool, bar and restaurant. When we arrived the pool was closed due to construction. No where on this site or their website could I find where they have that the pool is closed - traveled 5 hours for my birthday weekend with friends and no pool. I am very disappointed that there was no notification that that was the case.

This property was beautiful! The staff were all kind and helpful. The only downside was that the pool and hot tubs were closed. When I made the reservation, there was no note to say the pool would be closed when we visited. Staff kindly provided us free vouchers for breakfast to make up for it. Luckily the beach was only a few steps away from the property. The beach was perfect!

Great and attentive staff, beautiful views from balcony

I booked an ocean view king room on Expedia and got a room with view to a building, the photo on the expedia website of the ocean view room is misleading and not accurate as the staff told me the view for booked king balcony is only ocean partial view. Also the pools were closed due to remodeling and it wasn't advertised in expedia website. They offer beach chairs but the umbrella is $25 .

Can’t recommend. Property under construction, pool under major renovation, pool bar also closed. Doesn’t feel like a resort. Pictures of room also deceiving. Room needs updating, especially beds. Expedia’s customer service was kind enough to issue a credit for the undisclosed inconveniences.

Nice View - However their pool was closed until February 2025 and it was not advertised as such. Valet parking only.

Everything was wonderful always excent service

Excellent stay with beach access! Amazing beds and shower. There is no actual on site parking, just valet. Pools are a bit smaller in person but overall rate this 10/10!

I like that the beach was right behind hotel

The pool was old and though they had two, they were overcrowded. Rooms were not ready at 4pm but they accommodated our luggage.

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay! Front desk was so pleasant and friendly. We were checked by Nicole, what a caring, friendly, professional person. The moment she found out we were there for our 39th wedding anniversary, she went out of her way, to make our stay the best one. “She surprised us with a bottle of wine in ice and two wine glasses” on Saturday evening 💕in our room. Also Robert and the rest of the girls were so nice and attentive at the main lobby. In the property's restaurant we were served by Miguel Angel, what nice and friendly young man. He was so attentive on both day. In the pool are very nice the gentleman that great us by the pool for towels and umbrella. The guys by the beach super amazing too in giving us the lounge chairs. Beautiful Staff and always offering the bottle water! The Valets guys super helpful. Thank you for great service. Thank you Jose & Reyna

My mum was very happy about the stay.

The prices are a lie you end up paying twice more when you arrive to the hotel of what you already pay in expedía.

I like the property specially Leslie in the restaurant. Amazing personality. The shower light on room 306 was not working.

Wish my beach chair comes with umbrella

The pool area was littered with old cups and thing. No wait staff to help in pool lounge area. The bar was so under staffed, took 30 minis to get a drink. There wasn't a good relaxing feeling at the pool and bar, everyone there was upset with the poor service. Lots of complaining, they need a lot more people working on a busy Saturday pool area!
