Great vibe in the Hotel, decor is unique and fun. Rooftop bar is fun and downstairs bar was good too. Staff was helpful. Good location.

Weekend trip with a friend to enjoy Bordeaux.

Outlet for charging devices was not convenient but it was a good location and a great rooftop bar and restaurant

Really enjoyed pur stay here. The reception staff were particularly good and very helpful. Very clean room. Rooftop bar also had a great vibe.

A nice place. Right in the middle of the best walkable area of the city. Desk open 24 hours for check-in is a plus. Good friendly rooftop bar.

This is a great hotel in the center of Bordeaux which is very close to most of the main attractions in the city. It has a modern vibe and the bars are hopping in the evenings. The breakfast was really good. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The rooms are a bit small and there’s no coffee in the rooms but it’s France and the coffee is easy to get downstairs

We had an amazing stay at mama shelter in bordeaux. The bar and restaurant are great. The vibe is amazing. The only issue we had was that our shower lost pressure so we couldn’t wash before we left. I expected the staff to offer some form of discount considering the inconvenience but they did not. Given that being able to wash is a pretty fundamental aspect of staying in a hotel I do think they staff could have made more of an effort to compensate us.

Mama shelter classic, good breakfast but little change from 1 day to the other, little pressure for the shower but perfect bed. Sometimes some noise from the street.

Great location and a very funky hotel with a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. Would definitely recommend this hotel in Bordeaux.

The hotel is in a good location, very central, the communal areas are modern and fun, great rooftop bar, super friendly staff. Only downside is the size of the rooms. There’s just enough space for the bed and the TV. It’s fine if you don’t intend to spend time in your hotel room.

Great location and stylish hotel- yet the basics such as a kettle and or coffee machine weren’t in the room. There was a microwave (!) but no serve ware or cutlery whatsoever - so overall really useless. Worst of all though - on January 3rd the fire alarm went off at 6:10am... luckily it turned out to be a false alarm. Yet do you think anyone would even have so much as apologised? It was met with complete negligence to the point that we even had to ask several Staff whether there was truly nothing serious going on!!! There was no reassurance nor any apology for the disturbance (again, everybody was woken up and ran out in PJs!), nothing! Was handled at a level of unprofessionalism that left me baffled. Not even a free coffee offered to the guests the next morning. So hotel wise: great! Service wise: deplorable!

The minute I walked into Mama Shelters doors, it was like walking into a party. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The room was clean, also festive in its own way, the technology for the rooms was also great in regards to streaming channels, WiFi etc. The rooftop bar was also nice and festive. The hotels location was great. All the major sites were walkable. I would definitely stay at one of their hotels again
