I stayed here for only 1 night in late june 2017, and it was really surprising that this hotel is not up to my or any standard of a good hotel.I rarely stayed at 5 stars hotel, so i dont have a high standard to begin with, but theres not much good things i can say about this hotel except for its location, which is near the mall, and rather friendly front desk service.The hotel seems dead as in u cant find anyone around, the wifi is very poor consider its location, the room is quite small and not very clean, and no window as well.For the breakfast, they sent it to my room, maybe bcs they think theres no use to cook so much food for buffet when theres only 2 or 3 occupants, but the food is quite okay.Overall, i probably wont stay here again, and will look for other hotels nearby with the same price but with better overall experience, which is too bad because this hotel actually has a lot of potential to become a great hotel if they have proper management.

it was good. I think the lobby need to be renovated. The carpet was dirty and old. Doesnt suit the hotel's name, should be more "cozy & green"

Ok hotel in nice neighbourhood. Room was large n has proper cupboard which can hang dresses. However it was a let-down as there were only 2 plugs for use in charging laptop n handphones(n one has to take out the lights for that) n the worse is No WIFI in room. Cant stay for work. Lighting is not bright enough for putting on make-up. No space for toiletries above bathroom sink. Hv to pull door firmly closed as the lock didnt catch automatically.

Stayed one night and was given a smoking room on G floor upon request. The hotel is within a walking distance to Blok M Mall and surrounded by Japanese/Korean food chains. Enjoyed the stay albeit on a short duration. Will definitely come back to stay on this hotel again.

This was a great budget hotel. There were some cosmetic issues in the hallways but the room and social areas were emaculate. The location was good and taxis were always available. I always felt safe when walking around the area. Only negations was the traffic, but that is pretty much all of Jakarta. WiFi was accessible from every room and had some decent speed. Staff does speak some English, just don't expect to have any in depth conversations with them. My only negative was the hotel bar prices seemed a bit high for the area, but that's probably true for any hotel bar.

Upon arrival on check in my booking via Exoedia was not in the hotel system.Very annoying that I have to wait till they sort out as tha room was not ready.However rhe staff was very heloful & pleasant so tgat majes our stay meaningful.

From a long time "stayer" at the Gran Mahakam, this newly built, modern hotel is ideal for the local I need. Naturally, it is NOT a 5 star experience but it is a place I recommend as "place to sleep" in relative peace. Buffet breakfeast was more than i need, but did include ALL the parts you can expect. Locals (Indonesian's on a visit to JKT) clearly use this hotel more than foreigners but that is NOT a negative. My first stay was good enough to make me question "do I really need to pay 3-5 times more to stay at Gran Mahakam?" The answer is probably not. Lounge and meeting place. 2 levels of spacious lounge and meeting space so suits a gathering of 5-8 people to meet anytime during the day. The staff I encounted (so does not sya ALL staff) were very friendly, excellent "bahasa inglis" (English) and professional. I would recommend this hotel for those who like or need location at Blok M / Mahakam without being in the middle of the hussle surrounds the neighbouring hotels of similar category nearby.

Very good mid range hotel in a central location. Striking modern building. Helpful and pleasant staff, but a bit disorganized. Good buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner menu.Unfortunately I had my shirt that I liked torn at the shoulder seam by the hotel laundry staff.

Functional small room but ok. Breakfast was fresh and eggs were cooked as I requested them. Bed was comfortable. Walking distance to all of Blok M. ATM’s close by. For just sleeping and leaving in the day this room is a budget special. Was not able to use the bar or the restaurant on the Saturday night due to private functions. I would stay again.
