The resort is lovely and relaxing, the staff are helpful, and the room I had was spacious but outdated.
Wifi worked 50% of the time.
My room was at the back of the resort close to the forest and I was so excited to have monkeys climb over my balcony.
I was happy with my stay, as I got what I paid for and was quite comfortable.

Wifi is weak that’s the only negative thing I have to say the rest is excellent

The property can do with some renovations the shower has calcium build up on the shower heads. TVs could do with better English channels, there was only 1-2 English channels and it was very staticky and not clear

A quaint and beautiful property within the walking distance to the Monkey Forest and Ubud Palace. Rooms are clean, spacious but the lack of or poor quality of amenities was disappointing. Shower pressure was extremely low. Refrigerator did not work. When we put a cold water bottle after our arrival, it came to room temperature the next morning. And Internet was really bad. I mean really bad. If you don’t care about the water pressure, non-functional appliances, and very poor Internet, this is a very good place. I especially liked the rice field next to the property.

I liked the private balcony and huge modern bathroom & bed. Good central location with easy access to restaurants, attractions and shopping. Excellent pool facilities.

The property was beautiful but long walk to get to the room near the creek bead and very hard if you are handycap with very steep stairs....
The room was nice and spacious but the AC units(MiniSplits) are installed and maintained wrong. The condenser unit outside needs to be installed correctly off the wall higher off the ground and cleaned so mold doesnt grow on the filter coils. We always woke up with stopped up noses and congestion each day.
over all nice hotel just not up to standards on the up keep of these things.

We have stayed here many times and really like the rice field view, the river view, and the easy access to Jl. Monkey Forest.
We didn't like the music from Jl. MF nor the pool music, but obviously other people do. We would also have liked more seating on our balcony.
The facilities are a bit dated, but are fairly typical for Bali. Their weather is extremely hard on infrastructure. We found the staff friendly, and the rooms were clean.
Indeed, we read one review that was whinging that there were no rice field, only a muddy field. News for the non-farmers: before a crop is planted you have a muddy field. Then planting, then growing, then reaping, then burn-off, then muddy field. Plan ahead!
The thing is, if you want a western style hotel, stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel at many times the cost. If you want a comfortable mid-range hotel centrally located on Jl. MF. this is it.

Great location and friendly staff. Will continue to return to Sri Aksata. Just watch out for the monkeys at the bottom pool who can get up to a bit of mischief.

It was my second time staying here, but unfortunately I checked out early this time due to the electricity going out in the middle of the night and waking up to no water in the villa. It still wasn’t on at 3pm the next day.The staff are nice and friendly but the hotel is old and tired.

I loved this hotel because of the pools the gardens the rice fields. Staff were friendly and smiling. Right in the middle of Ubud but a sanctuary once inside.

Our experience with this hotel was disappointing.
When we entered our room, the views were amazing, however this is where it ended. Despite its neat and tidy appearance and while we don’t at all mind an aged atmosphere, the need for upgrading was apparent.
Cooling the room proved futile due to faulty Aircon, and to our dismay, we discovered a sizeable yellow stain in the middle of the bed. Unsettling as it was, we were prepared to request a sheet change. However, upon further inspection we found a large dark stain close to pillow height, revealing a revolting stain on the mattress which seemed inconceivable this was missed by housekeeping during room preparation. Also the toilet didn’t flush correctly.
Hoping for a resolution we approached the front desk. Despite their polite demeanour, we were informed that no rooms were available due to being fully booked. While they proposed a sheet change, the issue of the contaminated mattress remained unaddressed. Our request for a new mattress was denied as they had none spare. Despite being fully booked they then offered us an adjacent room, but we noticed a suitcase inside, raising concerns about potential displacement of this guest to our room. This did not sit well with us and due to the lack of ethical consideration we opted to check out less than an hour after arrival. Although we paid for 6 nights we were refused any refund at all.
The whole experience raises serious concerns about the cleanliness standards at this hotel.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bed was medium firm and comfy. The gardens are immaculate and beautiful, with the rice paddy view stunning. The two pools are a nice bonus, quiet and relaxing with little noise.

Our stay in Ubud at Sri Aksata was absolutely wonderful! The property is conveniently located for getting around by walking to a variety of activities. Our room was spacious and airy, and was well-maintained throughout our stay. It was very quiet and peaceful for such a central location. The staff were all extremely friendly and so accomodating. I highly recommend Sri Aksata!

It was good place right in the heart ubud town. So many options to dine in at walkable distance. The only downside was the crazy traffic and difficulty crossing the road. Loved breakfast buffet

Staff was lovely and very kind when we made a mistake in our booking. We also had a lovely view from our balcony. However we had a rough night as the family living in the room above us was very loud and there is absolutely no sound proofing so it was basically like they were in our room when they screamed loudly or their baby cried.

The property is good but spread in very vast area. Location is excellent and walking distance from monkey garden and area is full of restaurants. Good indian restaurants are also avaialble. Rooms are with sit out place. Some rooms are at lower level and one has to walk a long distance and there after steps. The pathways does not have good lighting. The rice cultivation is there in the property premises and hence mosquitos. The locker provided are not working. They do not provide milk powder for tea/ coffee so indian travellers should carry it with them. Breakfast is very limited. Almost no choice except bread/ fruits for vegiterians.

Very nice hotel and fantastic staff

There were lizards and geckos around the room and inside the room and they were constantly making noises.
The roof in the toliet was leaking rainwater.
We can changed hotels within 4 hours
I think for its price you should manage your expectations. If you are willing to be okay with nature and it isn’t raining then hotel should be fine

Peaceful property with pleasant rooms and staff.
Terrible wifi - never worked in room and around rest of propertybarelyconnected and dropped out cobstantly. Some issues with room too such as broken sliding doors and bathroom flooding within seconds of turning shower on.
Would give 3.5/5

Great place to stay. Location makes it easy to walk to temples, dances, shops and Monkey Forest. Spa is small so you need to book in advance.

Hard bed, bad ac, bad amenities, the shampoo and body wash smelled like sewage, non existent wifi, loud staff even early in the morning, and thin curtains led to a very bright room at a very early hour... checked out a day early
