This was probably one of the nicest resorts I have stayed at. We booked a double room - room 19. We were at the top close to the adults pool & pool bar. Room was large, clean & the outside bathroom is gorgeous. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was included and you could choose 2 items & drinks off the menu which was great value.

Batu Karang is a beautiful resort that exceeded my expectations and allowed for a very relaxing stay. The staff are all extremely friendly. The location is stunning with views over Jungbutbatu beach which is only a short stroll away, and crystal clear turquoise waters. The resort is on a steep hill but staff whizz you around on golf buggies. Our room with a plunge pool was lovely and had similarly stunning views although was frustratingly next to a large building site. The interior was luxurious and very nicely designed and the bed very comfy. The only small cons would be one small bin per room based in the bathroom, limited breakfast drink options - only one tea, coffee or juice included, and minimal furniture on the larger decking area. But these are very small cons. Overall we loved our stay here and would love to come back in future.

We will definitely come back! Our honeymoon was made extra special with our own plunge pool, friendly staff, and couples massage. There is a whiskey bar downstairs. The chefs made the most delicious food, and from our room we looked down at the hydroponic crops below. We loved the vines growing over our balcony roof, providing a cool retreat. We absolutely love the Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Spa.

Such a fabulous hotel. We loved our room and outdoor bathroom and the stunning surrounds and gardens, as well as the 3 pools. The staff were so kind and friendly. The a la carte breakfast was beautiful and we enjoyed eating at The Deck and having a drink at the Howff bar on the water. The views here can not be beaten plus we could walk to a lot of nearby restaurants.

Batu Karang was simply amazing! The location, the views, the staff were all part of what made it a fabulous stay. The dining options at the hotel were beautiful and other options close by. Thank you Batu Karang, it was the perfect end to our stay in Bali.

Great common pool area and nice looking restaurant. The room had an outdoor bathroom with a connecting wall to our neighbours bathroom. (I’ll let you put that together) and we had a cockroach issue that become annoying. Breakfast menu is small and they keep trying to find ways to charge you extra for everything. Food is the most expensive in Bali and it felt like we were there as wallets and not customers.

Great location, good staff, great villas. I was super disappointed with the ‘penthouse’ this time. I’d stay again, but not in the three bedroom penthouse.

Loved our stay at Batu Karang. The service and attentiveness was exceptional. The food was amazing, dinner was definitely cuisine. Really felt welcome, such a peaceful atmosphere.

It’s a beautiful resort BUT it is built on a very steep section of land The rooms are beautiful the pools nice The gym is awful, old equipment barely functioning does not match the quality of the resort.

We absolutely loved our stay at Batu Karang! The hotel is beautiful! The most incredible views over the beach, sea and mountains. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were amazing! All so helpful, chatty and went above and beyond to make our stay as incredible as it was. While we were there we spoke to a couple of other guests many of whom were returning guests. An amazing location and property for our week long stay in Nusa Lembongan! Wonderful, helpful staff, great food at The Deck, clean pools, absolutely stunning views, the best outdoor bathroom with my favorite shower I’ve ever had, comfortable beds and linens, and totally walkable to everything!

The views were immaculate, the hotel beautiful, the island was less touristy and quieter which was very nice, we went to a sound bath while we were there at Island Yoga, highly recommend

The room was clean and comfortable, the views were beatiful. We had lunch at the restaurant which was good. Don't stay here off you have accessibility needs, lots of stairs and hills. It's a 10 minute walk from the beach, don't bother with transporation. However, I had a massive problem before checking in. The hotel didn't receive my Expedia benefits status so I contacted them for early check in and late check out. They denied my request. I contacted expedia who called and emailed the hotel 5 times confirming my benefits. The hotel continued to deny me and were very rude is their communication to both me and expedia. Very poor experience.

The property is one of the best on the island. It is now aging, reasonably expensive and I noticed the occupancy rate was well down. The food is excellent but expensive. The site is most beautiful on a very steep slope above the water. Golf carts are used to transport up and down the hill on a very steep, long gradation. This can be inconvenient although a cart and driver is always available.

The place is beautiful, well situated with good dining options (NO ROOM SERVICE) and spectacular views. This IS NOT AN EXPEDIA VIP property as NO ONE in the hotel wasn't even aware of what that is, never mind honouring the benefits. The staff always greet you with a smile even when they have no idea of what you saying as some of them clearly speak very little English. Nevertheless, despite these hiccups, it is a very pleasant hotel and most likely I will be coming back.

Lovely stay at the hotel and the staff was very gracious and kind. The room was relatively well appointed and the dining options were good. Only complaint was late breakfast (7:30am) so we were not able to eat before excursions. The kindly offered that we could grab some fruit the night before and store it in our fridge but we missed that as well as kitchen closes at 9pm.

The place is on a hill and very difficult to get around, when you arrive the system to get you checked in is a little odd and takes way too long. The pool near the beach closes at 4pm, and even the other one closed at 6pm which seemed odd for Asia. The other pool was up so many steps it was really hard to get to. All this would put me off going back. Island wise I didn’t think it was that amazing pretty average.

The best place to stay on Nusa Lembongan. Close to two great beaches and lots of great restaurants. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Staff were very accommodating in helping me organise transfers and transport. Had the best view from my room! Would highly recommend.

Can not go from the room without their transportation, too steep to walk, very inconvenient because at times it took a long time. Very limited food choices and not great quality. Roads in Nusa Lambongan are terrible. I will not recommend anybody going there. We ended up doing nothing.

Very helpful staff and a beautiful property.

Positives: -The view from the rooms is insane. -The food tastes delicious 10/10! The hotel grows their own vegetables and bakes their own bread. Everything tasted wonderful. -Some restaurants and a great ice cream shop in the immediate area. -Small but cute beach 4 minutes away. Negatives: -Personnel does not know English so only the most necessary was spoken. No questions could be answered. Special requests for food were difficult to communicate. Orders arrived incorrectly because the staff got it wrong. Sometimes it was very tedious. -Personnel was not good when it came to service. After the meal, the dishes are left on the plate until you ask someone to clean them up. Even when our dessert arrived, the dishes from the main course were left at the table and the dessert was squeezed into the smallest empty space. Some of the guests put their dishes on the neighboring table. -Often the entire staff was behind the counter, so guests had to walk to the counter when they needed something. -No room service. We did not like having to pick up our food and drink, which we wanted to enjoy in the room, from the restaurant. So, since the hotel is built on a hill, we had to walk down the hill and then carry our order back up the hill. This was very tiring. Room service would be really great as the views from the rooms are breathtaking. -No goodbyes at check out. We feel like they are happy that we leave.

This is a beautiful property with amazing rooms, views, and amenities. The walkable access to other nearby sites and restaurants was great. Loved the variety of restaurant options within the hotel. My only complaints would be that the pools close early. Also, the staff are lovely and very nice, but service seemed to occur at a slower pace than other stays we have enjoyed in Bali. I think it was more of an issue of the hotel system and not an issue with the actual staff who were all lovely.
