The sweetest and most helpful staff I’ve ever seen. You are treated like family elders! The hotel is small (every room has its own name) but beautifully decorated with a lot of art, and sports a nice restaurant and a lovely swimming pool in a garden setting. A place to relax.

If I didn't have to leave, I wouldn't! Siem reap was great but during each tour (that the hotel can help you organize) I'd be looking forward to swimming/sipping drinks in their salt waterfall pool. Being a tourist is hard work. You deserve a place like this to relax! The staff is incredible - so warm and helpful! I loved every second of my stay! And I was so so so happy I didn't stay near the chaos of pub street. This gorgeous hotel is a short tuk tuk ride from everything.

If your looking for a small cozy resort with the best staff whom makes you feel part of the family this is the place to be. They are the kindest sweetest professional hardworking staff ever 24/7 available for all your questions and needs. The resort itself is very cute and peaceful. In the area there are some small street with markets and food trucks but it’s not like a booming area. You can walk easily to the centre (pub street etc )in about 20min if you walk slow and chill about 30min. If you rent a bike or a scooter or get a tuktuk it will take you about 5-8 min. I would highly recommend this resort if your looking for a small community vibe but not to far from city (Siem Reap) I had the best stay and the best holiday ever and the staff really plays a huge part in that.

The staff at the Sokkhak Resort are incredibly gracious and professional. From the Manager to the Tuk Tuk driver and all the activities they managed for us our stay was first rate. We cannot wait to visit again! The Trinkino’s.

We could not be happier with our stay at Sokkhak and Siem Reap in general. The staff made everything so easy and pleasant! The rooms are clean, comfortable and the property is beautiful and quiet. It’s a quick tuk tuk to downtown, markets, pub street and Angkor wat. Honestly, the Cambodians are what make it so beyond special though. We felt like we were leaving our family and we’re so sad! If you’re looking for a unique, homey and just beautiful experience, Sokkhak is just that.

The service at this little hotel was impeccable. We were greeted at the airport by the manager, then driven to the hotel. From beginning to end, he and the rest of staff treated us royally. A personal welcome on the bed done in strips of palm leaves. Opening doors before we could touch them. Always friendly and helpful. The hotel is small, so they can give their guests full attention. Breakfast was wonderful. They don’t have a restaurant on site but they have sister properties that do and they can call in an order and then serve you in their dining room. That was a good open when we didn’t want to go into town. The pool is the centerpiece of the resort and, though not heated, was refreshing and a relaxing place to sip on a drink. They have a tuk tuk at the ready for when you want to head into town (only $2). I can’t say enough about the staff and their fantastic service. We’ll remember this visit for a long time from now.

An oasis for sure. All the staff went over and above to help us and make us comfortable. We ended up staying 4 days. This location is a quick US DOLLAR away from downtown. I can’t imagine a better place to stay.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I had the most beautiful, relaxing weekend, visiting the sights and then relaxing by the pool. The staff are so warm, friendly, and helpful. My room was beautiful. The care, service, and attention to detail were remarkable. I showed up with no plans and the staff were able to arrange a tuk-tuk driver for me to see the temples for sunset and sunrise, provided packed breakfast, etc. The food was delicious, the spa treatments were sublime-- I can't say enough good things. I can't wait to come back!

We came with our 4-year old child and met what we thought was a pleasant European older couple at the pool who are regulars at the hotel. They told us about their 'amazing' philanthropic activity helping local children which we thought was admirable. They had brought some of their local helpers which were not hotel guests who went into the small pool with their clothes on. While it was not appropriate to have non-guests swim with their clothes in the small pool, the charm of the couple and apparent goodwill made it seem very acceptable. But this "nice couple" soon radically changed their attitude when our son excited by the wading pool was splashing water swimming and unintentionally (what kids do), a few drops got onto their chair. They became very belligerent and changed their colors completely, telling our four year old directly to stop his behavior instead of talking to us. Then they said his attitude was not normal. My wife had told them if it bothers them to move to the other side of the pool where the water was deeper and where adults swam. While the lady accepted the husband refused and then the matter escalated further. This couple who was so consumed by their 'philanthropy' thought they can monopolize the small hotel since they were regular guests and could do what they wished in the pool as long as other didn't bother them. If you see them you will quickly know who we are referring to. Hotel should refuse this couple in the futurel to avoid future incidences.

We felt like we'd arrived home and we are with a family. Everyone is so polite and caring. So beautiful and design rooms. And so cozy atmosphere. We had one of the nicest relaxing and lovely time there. Tnx you very much to all team who is working there!

They helped us book a driver to take us around Angkor Wat for the day, drove us to/from the airport for free, pampered us, and were always available to help. Really good value for the money too - the rooms are HUGE, beautiful, the pool is quite lovely, and the food is excellent. Its also super close to Angkor Wat (only a 10 minute drive). I cant recommend enough staying here.

Really loved staying here! The hotel is halfway between Angkor Wat and downtown, staff is super friendly and helpful, hotel is small but beautiful, great food, nice SPA. Have only good things to say!

The location is very quiet although because our room was situated on the ground floor, it was pretty noisy.The food was fresh and tasty. The service attentive, yet unobtrusive. The rooms were tasteful and the beds large and sumptuous.We would have liked to have spent time lounging by the pool, but there were never lounges available -one of the hotels few negative points.

We were charmed by the resort and staff at this hotel. We felt so welcome and appreciated. Ive never had a better experience anywhere! We were greeted on arrival by Malay, with a fresh fruit drink and refreshing scented hand towels. We were surrounded by lovely art and fresh flowers. The grounds are immaculate with Thai sculptures and flowers. At night, white twinkling lights are in the trees and reflecting in the pool and water features. We had a beautiful suite upstairs that looked out at palm trees and the pool. Th e room was so tasteful and comfortable. The restauant is open and restful. The food is inspired and beautifully presented. We were so delighted with the choices and the service. I had a massage with Sari, who was very skilled and attentive to my needs. We were only there for two nights but I never wanted to leave. This place is a gem and I will always remember my time there fondly. The management and the staff are so gracious and caring. They really pamper you! Thank you Malay, Choun, Chester, Reaksney, Vichet and Mouet! I give Sokkhak the hghest rating there is. A truly special place.

My wife and I enjoyed being treated like VIPs’s. Kindest most professional staff of any hotel we have ever stayed at. Chesdar treated us with the kindness of a true professional. He managed our short stay, and is a great asset to this hotel. This hotel combined with all this amazing area has to offer will not disappoint!
