Absolutely wonderful visit. Great rooms, free parking and nice amenities. I'll definitely be staying here again.

We are experienced travelers and have been to ligonier many times. We were surprised when the check-in for the space was by the bartender and that there was just a phone number for check out. Our room was unbearably hot, and we hoped to navigate the heating system on our own as there were no instructions who to call for help. After we tried to fix the problem on our own for hours, we texted for help and were finally instructed to just open a window. (There was no way to modulate the heat)There was no apology and honestly it was one of the worst night sleeps we have had. If there is to be contactless check-in, it would be nice for instructions on how to make the room more comfortable and a name of someone to contact for help. The room was lovely in decor, but at this price-point, actual customer service is a baseline.

We loved the room , very clean and nice . We could tell they really take care of the room . I didn’t like that it was considered a bed and breakfast. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast . The water and coffee station on second floor . Didn’t provide enough cups for coffee so we couldn’t take one to go. All and all great atmosphere and good time . Definitely will be back again

Place was gorgeous. No closet in room. Not a problem for overnight guests, but may be troublesome for extended stay guests.

The hotel is beautiful and quaint, exactly what we were looking for. We prefer boutique hotels and this checked every box. My only complaint, was that we were not informed our room didn’t have an en-suite bath, our bath was in the hall separate from our room. We both found this rather awkward.

This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Kim was welcoming and accommodating, and all the furnishing and decorations seemed carefully chosen for a posh experience. The Keurig self-serve coffee was fabulous, and all the guests we encountered were friendly. My mom, sister and I enjoyed walking around The Diamond and dining at both the Liginier Tavern & Table and at Carol & Dave's, on the recommendation of Sharon in the Bee Kind Winery inside the Seger House. I will definitely stay here again when I return for next year's Highland Games.

Beautfiul building. Large, comfortable rooms. Friendly, personable service. Great location to be able to walk all around town.

Very convenient to restaurants and stores. Very quiet. The room was very comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Would stay again.

The room was very nice and spotless! Since it is a small hotel, I think about 6 rooms, there isn't always someone at the desk. It wasn't an issue for us at all. They also have complimentary coffee and water, as well as wine glasses and wine opener, since there is a small winery shop in the building. Very nice stay overall! The town is also very cute.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The old fashioned house was clean and comfortable. We had a nice stay and will definitely return.

Adam was great in ensuring our stay was awesome. We left a charger and Adam kindly shipped it to us after we left. The property is a gem and proximity to town can’t be beat. Would highly recommend and definitely plan to come back.

The food in the restaurant (2breakfasts and one Italian night dinner) was wonderful! Ligonier so cute. Took advantage of cross county skiing nearby.

It was such a treat to stay here while visiting family in Ligonier!

Thistledown is in a great location for walkability to shops and restaurants. The staff is very nice. It has it's own restaurant (breakfast included) that is delicious. We wished we chose to eat dinner there because the breakfast was so good! Rooms are adorable, updated and quiet. Free coffee, tea and water were available. Just a cute place in a nice little town. We stayed here during our tours of Frank Lloyd Wright homes, which are around 45 minutes away. There really isn't a closer town to stay in. But that's fine since Ligonier is a great spot.
