Cannot recommend this enough, cosy comfortable and relaxed vibe. All staff are so friendly - activity centre onsite. Breakfast, lunch dinner overlooking the river. I’d go back in a heartbeat

Very comfortable room although in need of a little TLC.
Reception was good as was the restaurant.

RATS RATS RATS!
I would not recommend. My room was on the top floor and it looked nice, but that’s where it ends.
The Good: the restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant staff were great and so were the front desk staff.
The Bad: I was woken up in the middle of the night when a couple of rats got in my room. They started running around the room and were making noises! I couldn’t go back to sleep, I was too grossed out.
Second, because of the mosquitoes, the staff must have used the entire can of mosquito spray because the smell was so strong, I had a hard time breathing. Maybe other guests who were on the bottom floor had better experience than mine, but I definitely did not have a good experience.

The room was dirty, and bathroom was not cleaned at all. The mosquito net over the bed was so dirty that i was even afraid to even use it. The property looks like hostel, so for the money i paid I could get way better hotel. I would totaly avoid it

We stay every visit to Livingstone, probably 4-5 time in as many years. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Activities centre right next door to reception so plenty to choice from.

This was out 4th visit to the Victoria Falls Waterfront. The welcome is always exceptional - warm and friendly. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The pools are clean and inviting. The bar and food are run to a very high standard. I understand that the lodge is owned by the company which provides safaris and other activities in the area so booking these is easy. We have now done a walking safari 4 times and see and learn new things each time. Cannot recomend this place enough.

Amazing views of the Zambezi River. Peaceful, beautiful and clean. Delicious food at the restaurant. Will definitely be back.

I loved the location next to one of the lakes the feed into Victoria Falls. The turndown service was great for preparing your mosquito net and spraying the room to keep the bugs out as much as possible. It had a very real wildlife experience feeling. The people were safe however, I had security walke to my room after dark because of the baboons. I just don't trust baboons. Also it was dark. The only con on the hotel was my shower drain wasn't working properly.

Victoria Falls Waterfront was such a fun and amazing location! I was travelling solo and started my weekend alone but ended it with so many friends. It's a great base to plan so many activities and also to meet both locals and fellow travelers! A+!

this property exceeded all expectations. Staff assisted above and beyond because the airline lost my luggage. The expeditions all came to pickup/dropoff at the facility. The safari staff was very knowledgeable. Loved it! Will go back there again.

Loved the place; it has a tranquil aura, beautiful natural views, loved seeing elephants and hippos pop up now and again on the other side of the river from our room, food was yummy, staff were nice and friendly and helped us feel at ease… really happy I chose to stay here.

Lodging by the bank of the mighty Zambezi river was a beautiful experience

Returning customer - this property competes favourably with other much more expensive places in the region. The staff and management are always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. They were also very supportive about cancelling and rebooking due to the Covid pandemic.

ROOMS ARE A BIT TIRED, COULD DO WITH BETTER MAINTAINANCE. STAFF WAS EXCELLLENT AND THE DRINKS AND FOOD WAS GOOD VALUE. THE RESORT ITSELF WAS CLEAN AND TIDY AND WAS IN A FANTASTIC POSITION NEXT TO THE ZAMBEZI RIVER.

What can I say about my stay. It was absolutely fantastic.
I stayed in the Adventure Tents and they were exactly as shown on the Expedia site. The area is cleaned and tidied on a constant basis.
The staff were wonderful. Very attentive and helpful. Lubasi, the manager is a great asset to the Victoria Falls Waterfront, as is all the staff. My only hope is that the management really know how how special the staff are.
The breakfasts were amazing, and included in the price. The dinners I purchased were all so good and delicious. Compliments to the chef and staff.
I would recommend the Victoria Falls Waterfront to anybody looking for a great, clean, tidy and affordable place to stay.
Thank you to all the staff for making my stay so special.

Good value for money - good vibe

We stayed two nights at Waterfront Lodge, the first night in a tent and the second night in a Riverside room.
So this is a summary of the night in the Riverside room, where we stayed in a luxurious riverside room - with sofas 3 meters from the Zambezi river shore. For an Scandinavian - this is so exotic! Well, it does not happen very much - except some birds and monkeys.
We also really recommend the (big) main pool, the SUPERB breakfast buffet and the restaurant with reasonable prices and BIG portions. (Doggybags are offered!). And just think about having breakfast at the Zambezi river shore.
The "party sunset cruise" also departs from Waterfront Lodge - which can be convenient, when FREE drinks and food are offered on the cruise.
We DEFINITELY recommend Waterfront Lodge!

We stayed two nights at Waterfront Lodge, the first night in a tent and the second night in a Riverside room.
So this is a summary of both nights.
The tent has electricity (one contact) for light and fan and two - yes - rather comfortable beds. There is WC and showers in the service room. (Tip: Bring your own soap). You also get a (safe) lock to the tent.
One of the best things with Waterfront Lodge is that a tent guest is NOT "discriminated" - and has access to all areas as any other guest on the lodge. (OK, you might to carry your own bags to the tent).

The property is beautiful. Set right along the Zambezi River it is quiet and natural. It is well kept and has a pleasant design.

Good value hotel, some rooms a bit dated, problems with getting steady hot water in the shower. Lovely setting on the Zambezi River. Choice of two restaurants and bars, although the Sunday night buffet at the higher end part of the hotel was overpriced for what was offered. Wood oven pizza was good. Fairly comfortable beds, very limited number of channels available on the TV. But that is not what you are there for anyway!

Stayed for three nights in the tents they provided. It was great would definitely do it again. The breakfast it top of the line as well. A great place to stay

My wife and I had a lovely long weekend stay at the Waterfront. It it in a brilliant location and boasts some stunning views. The partnership with the neighboring hotel also means there's an alternative place to eat and relax just next door. The rooms are fairly simple but have what you need to enjoy your stay. No televisions, which means you do feel very 'unplugged' from the noise. The staff are all very kind, welcoming and helpful.

A bit run down. Getting a good shower just wasn’t possible. We stayed in one of the executive suites. The balcony right on the river was great, but really buggy, so you don’t use it very much. I’m old and I think the waterfront would be perfect for someone young and on a budget. Next time, I will stay next door at the David Livingstone.

My favorite place to stay in Livingstone. Right on the Zambezi River. Great food and friendly staff.

Location on the waterfront and value for money was the reason I returned.
Staff were excellent.

The reason for low marks is we had rats in our room...
.eventually we were given TWO upgraded chalets, but kids had to sleep next door in separate chalet... so this spoilt our stay immensly

Beautiful place to stay & see the great sites in the area. My riverfront room with peaceful patio was wonderful. I’d sit out with my coffee in the morning & watched a couple monkeys playing in the trees! Everyone was so very helpful, meals were good & reasonable. The only problem was getting water mixed correctly in the shower—seemed to go from very hot to cold—was hard to regulate. Otherwise, everything was wonderful & I made new friends from all over!
