Booking a hotel and being able to cancel without loosing all your money and not being offered any alternative would never boom again

The room looked clean but the bathroom wasn't. Area under the sink was especially filthy, the toilet roll holder was loose and there was no paint work on the lower part of the bathroom door frame. At breakfast, the jug of milk provided at the table had gone off. Only discovered this after I had poured it into my tea. Although, this was immediately rectified. Genrally, not what you would expect to find at a Hilton hotel.

This hotel suited our needs just fine. There were a few things that would have been nice to have (mini fridge) but nothing wrong. Parking is somewhat of a challenge.

Great hotel

It was a comfortable stay for a family of 4 visiting Peppa Pig World. The staff at breakfast were not hospitable at all and acted like they were being forced to work. No smiles, slow with requests and on the final day there was hardly any breakfast left and guests had to wait ages for items to be made available. Prompt service is needed on a weekday breakfast service.

Super location , rooms and staff

Stayed here super last minute and had a very pleasant stay. The bar is nice and had good food choices although a tad pricey (guess it's because of the name). Rooms were modern and comfortable and room service was impeccable.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and is very well equipped. However, the room preparation was poor - in particular there were no towels. When this was reported to reception, no action was taken and towels were no delivered - disappointed.

I was treated extremely badly by the staff, so bad in fact, we left on the same day we arrived. Room was also dirty

Close to shops and great if you want to go to a cricket match. Parking easy and restaurants and bar great.

Beds were comfy. Breakfast was amazing. Only trouble was staff forgot to clean the room so we did not have fresh towels and tea/cofee refills after the first night. But when we informed the desk, they immediately sent someone with it. It shows how helpful the staff are and how quickly they corrected this. Amazing hotel and look forward to staying there again

Nice hotel, there was a big wedding when we were there and the hotel did not have enough staff to cope, apart from that a great hotel

Modern and very much in the style of North American Hilton properties. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of parking. WiFi was on the slow side.

I had booked this hotel for a holiday with my children and parents during the half term. Despite not having electric vehicle charging points which I needed for my car, I went ahead and booked the hotel because my daughters really loved the pool and were keen on swimming. On arrival, we were told we had to pay an additional amount to use the pool facility. As irritating as this was, we were further told that children under 16 were not even allowed to use the pool. I honestly think this is a new low for hotel services. Food wasn’t great either. I only ate the breakfast because it was already paid for. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up English breakfast until I came to this hotel. We also had dinner at the hotel once and the food wasn’t great either. I’m quite sure the pizzas my children ate that night were from a frozen box and my £37 ribeye steak - what can I say. The gentleman that took our booking that night was very friendly and helpful and the staff that helped us during dinner were generally helpful. The staff at breakfast were also mostly lovely but a few were unhelpful. For instance, their self-serve hot drinks machine was not dispensing hot chocolate and the staff we asked just shrugged and moved on without offering to go make us some from the kitchen. Oh, and the pancake machine, it was either broken malfunctioning on some of the days. Altogether, I wasn’t impressed and I almost feel like I will never stay at a Hilton property again after this experience.

We were very disappointed in our stay which is such a shame as we have always wanted to stay here. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 3pm (check in time) we had to wait about 20 minutes along with about 10 other bookings. We had a room over looking the cricket ground which was lovely and my Husband thoroughly enjoyed watching the county cricket match. It was disappointing that we couldn’t get into our room at check in so we missed some of the cricket. On walking through the corridor to our room at about 3.25pm there were lots of plates, bottles and food outside the rooms from room service which remained there until the morning which wasn’t a great impression. We had dinner at Beefy’s we asked for water but didn’t get asked if we wanted to order a drink so we didn’t bother in the end. The food was ok. Breakfast was ok. The spa is very expensive and access should be included in the price of the stay. We wouldn’t stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the cricket pitch which my partner thought was fab as he could sit and enjoy the days match. I visited the spa which was very nice although a little pricey.

Everything was so clean and tidy. And reception staff were very helpful

Was not allowed to change my room from a disabled one to a normal one by Adam Crewe Eventually I was given a normal room.
