Great hotel. Always a pleasure to stay here. Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. Good restaurant and pool. Close to the old city and harbour. Rooms are clean and in good repair. I definitely recommend hotel Ox Ville.

The picture of the hotel is photoshopped. It doesn't look this nice and the little cinnamon coffee is a little bit to more to the right. Not cool Ox Ville, you can't photoshop the front of your hotel like that, it is misleading. The food was barely ok and there were a lot of mosquitos in the open dining area. Internet was really slow. Other than that it was ok.

The best hotel in Padang! Well run by great staff. Comfortable and clean. Well designed. Close to China Town and Padang harbour. I highly recommend Ox Ville if you're visiting Padang.

Another great stay at Ox Ville. This hotel is still easily the best hotel (and best value hotel) in Padang. I've stayed in many others and none is as comfortable and well run. The hotel grounds themselves are very pleasant. The two buildings are well designed around a central swimming pool with a great restaurant and outdoor patio. High ratio of staff to guests. The staff are some of the most professional, friendly, and welcoming hotel staff I have encountered. I've stayed in several of the rooms and they have always been clean and well maintained. I highly recommend Ox Ville and will be returning there again.

The location is great. Three blocks from the river, 5 from the beach and 5 from the Museum. The property was very clean, with nice hot water, cold air conditioner, and few good English T.V. channels. I did not found many restaurants in town but the one in the Hotel was very good and well priced. What impress me most was the service. I made the mistake to book the Hotel for the wrong date. They did not make any drama about that. They made a call to Hotels.com and in 15 minutes the situation was solved and I got my room 4 hours, before check in time. I found all staff including the manager to be very friendly and ready to accommodate any request. Without question the place to stay at a budget price. Highly recommended !!

When we asked for an early wake-up call, the reception offered to have breakfast prepared for us specially since we would miss the complimentary breakfast due to our early departure. Clean room and property. Breakfast was served early from 630am, which works well for us as we needed to depart to the airport by 715am. The range and quality of the breakfast was very decent too. Note to other travellers - you can use Grab around Padang. Very convenient and cheap

Nice place to stay. Only downside: there is a limited number of Wifi connections. It seems like no more than 2 device can be connected to the wifi at the same time. So good luck to you if you want to whatsapp on your phone while you surf the web on your laptop.Staff are nice but mostly lack English proficiency.

Stayed here as a transit hotel. Staff were very kind, clean rooms. There's a fantastic little coffee shop right next door too! We walked through the town all day. We felt very safe, no issues. Cheaper to get taxi to the hotel from airport, 120,000 instead of the 200,000 that OxVille charges. Would definitely stay here again!
