We arrived later yesterday afternoon just before the information service closed before 5:30pm with wind up speed and raining in. The room size is ok as what we expected in a caravan park. But smell of fishes of our cabin are stinking. Can’t believe the cleaners haven’t notice it’s horrible smells and reported to their managers. Complained to the receptionist this morning. She said because previous guests put their fishes in the fridge. It means at least the receptionist knew the condition very well but still put us into this cabin even half of their cabins are empty. So disappointed to this BIG4 park in Port Fairy this time.

Very spacious cabin with everything to make our stay welcoming & comfortable. Very family friendly park, the indoor heated pool and giant trampoline was a big hit with the kids! Very easy walk to the town centre.

Facilities and rooms are a bit older than other Big4 parks.
Needed to check more carefully before booking as we probably would not have booked had we realised what we were actually getting.

The room was clean and of a good size but i felt I was part of the office as the room was located next door. Next time i need to look closer at the accommodation I am booking when it comes to Big Four. The location was rather uninspiring for such a beautiful town like Prt Fairy.

The cabin itself was fine. Kitchen was well equipped.
Location is on the highway, but set back, so no traffic noise.
Need passcode for entry and exit. Not sure how requiring an exit passcode would work in an emergency.

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin. The cabins are very close together compared with other Big4 parks where we have stayed.The cabin itself was fine. Good place to stop for a short trip (we were passing through on our road trip). Parking was easy and Port Fairy has some good hiking options.
We arrived on Christmas day and had no issues accessing the property (there was an envelope with instructions). The inside was clean, and if we had an additional day, we would have explored the premises more (we didn't do any miniature golf or go to the pool).
But overall, a good place to stay and would recommend it.

We loved our stay here, there was so many options to keep the kids entertained. We stayed in a shearwater room which was small but comfortable and much to our daughters joy were right next door to the indoor pool.

Basic accommodation with issues: dozens of fruit flys (or aussie equivalent) in bathroom, lights above bed didn't work, poor wifi, pool only open 'til 6:30, self-serve laundry cost $8 (a much nicer, cheaper hotel just down the road in Lorne had free self-serve laundry), & indifferent reception staff.

Unfortunately the hot water didnt last for the second person having a shower. Apparently there was a sign saying there is not continuous hot water but I couldnt see it or must have missed this. The lady at the front counter apologised and gave us a block of chocolate which was nice of her. I thought it was overpriced as it was the most expensive of all our caravan park stays and its no where near the beach.
