The property we had was spacious, but smelt damp and unpleasant. It backs onto a slope which meant no light comes in from the back of the flat and that maybe is the source of dampness. The place looked clean at first glance, but there was actually dust in many places. The owner was friendly

I loved my stay here. The check-in was seamless and I had no problems at all. The wifi connection was great and I was provided with some local information that helped me plan my day trips. The villa came with all the essentials, including an ironing board and a vacuum cleaner! Very comfortable bed and good shower pressure.

Sweet water villas was great to look at from the photo but on entering there was a container for sanitizer that had been used for cigarettes butts from a previous occupation the shower was extremely difficult to get a correct temperature 1 mm that way too hot 1mm the other too cold and had mouldy grouting and silicone......between the wall and the side table in the bedroom was a gap too big to get a vacuum cleaner in and consequently it was not vacuumed for quite sometime and had a build up of dust the kitchen was well appointed and had everything in it but having a sign saying that we would be charged a cleaning fee if it wasn’t clean is a bit rude isn’t it part and parcel of running a motel

Suitable for 2 but way over priced. The bed was exceptionally good compared to the rest of the facility. Poor maintenance stands out which just fails the whole experience. I have videos of probably the worlds loudest toilet, front door that rattles when the wind blows and allows the draft to bellow in, but most of all the vanity taps in the bathroom, basic plumbing repairs that can be googled...

E.g. clean glasses in the bathroom. Hair dryer and stocked broom cupboard. Large bowls for food served at the table were pyrex and not plastic. Thankyou for listening to people and their requests and then acting on them

The check in was excellent so friendly and helpful gave me dinner and sightseeing suggestions. The room had a terrific view it was spacious comfy and very clean

Our one bedroom villa was well appointed, clean and spacious with views over the bay from the balcony/patio area. The owner was very helpful with information regarding the villas and St Helen’s attractions and eateries. There was a large selection of DVD’s available at reception as well as an on site laundry. Bed was comfortable and water was hot with good pressure. The villas are out of town a bit so I would suggest driving to eateries or dining in as the villa had a fully fitted out kitchen with all you need.

Check in was easy and pleasant. Spoke to the fella about places to eat and he gave us a few great tips. The property was 2 storey with beds downstairs living up top. The place also had 2 toilets which was very handy with 4 adults. Short drive into town from hotel.
