Great location. Deco may be dated but it looks great still, is in good condition and is clean. Porter, door and valet staff are all super friendly and helpful. Front desk staff aren’t as friendly or helpful unfortunately. Their concierge service is lacking - they didn’t seem to have one and when we asked the front desk for restaurant recommendations they just told us to walk around the area which wasn’t helpful. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay here again.

This hotel exceed my expectations by providing excellent hospitality experience. The location is great and convenient to go anywhere in the city. Also very close to train stations and bus stations. Although it is a very personal feeling, the only downside is the level of comfortable of the pillows and bed. A little bit too hard to me. Overall is excellent!

It is located very centre of Fukuoka city, and you can go anywhere you like from there. the room facility is refurbished fairly new and clean. the room rate is a bit pricey, but it is worth staying one of the traditional and prestigious hotel in the heart of Fukuoka city.

This was the first time staying at this hotel. Had twin bed room on 10th floor for two nights. Location is great nearby Tenjin Station which has nice shopping and many restaurants. Hotel is celebrating more than 50 years, and so design is a bit old and outdated, but still maintains a good luxury style. Just next building is the Ritz-Calton. On the first night, there was some severe fighting going on in another nearby room, and so called the front office to lodge complaint. Only certain staff can communicate in English, but most do not seem to have any English skills. Most staff are friendly, but some are not as friendly. Housekeeping only cleans room every other day. New towels are provided daily. We were provided a 1,000 yen coupon usable at PARCO for a total spend exceeding 11,000 yen. Water pressure is good for shower/bath. Best point about this hotel is its close location to Tenjin Station which makes the hotel very accessible to good food and shopping.

The refrigerator is the worst, as we bought ice cream, milk... It's not cold and can't keep overnight!

This was a great location and it’s easy to take the subway to/from the airport on the orange line. I would stay here again, but I wish the 260 yen tax was included in the Expedia price.

Rooms are a great size!

We had 3 pax for this booking. While there were 3 large beds, there was little room to manoeuvre around especially with our 2 large and 2 cabin bags. Location is the main reason to pick this hotel - close to 2 train lines - Airport line and the other to get to attractions like Dazaifu, and also close to the main shopping areas. The place is a little old but it’s proud of its heritage. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Overall a pleasant experience

Their service at any kind of area(Front, cleaning, cloak, and etc) was very friendly and kind. Also once we request something we concern, they solve it immediately. We will come back definitely. The interior of the room was a bit old, but they have long history which is understandable(this is the reason I put 4 stars for condition).

Very near tenjin bus terminal, which is one of the transport hub. Shopping district (mitsukoshi, iwataya, tenjin underground, bic camera, donquijote, ichiran, and so much more) near hotel. Pharmacy in front of the hotel. Excellent service from the staff, very satisfied. Breakfast can be improved but i’m not complaining.
