Wonderful front desk staff! We had a flickering light but we turned it off and everything was fine after that.

The room was clean and decent. The window could not be closed as they had fan unit in the bottom half. The room was cold. You can jack up the heat, but, you can still feel the draft from the window. It was also very noisy throughout the night with all the traffic that you could hear from the road next to it - and let me tell you, it is a busy road.

The Flagstone is not in the greatest part of town but it really is a great motel. Don’t be turned off by the area. The owners and staff clearly try hard to make the place safe, secure, very clean and comfortable. The rooms are nice, spacious and updated.
The hotel backs onto a row of houses that obviously take pride in their neighborhood.
Cheap and cheerful. We’d happily stay there again.

Good, older motel in good condition. Parking was on two levels so you could wheel in suitcases even on second-floor rooms. There was a mix-up with the reservation and clerk sorted it all.

Port Angeles is a quaint town. It was a relief to see locally owned Mom and Pop motels instead of chains. And with that comes good sides and down sides. As with nearly all the properties we saw, the exterior needed help.
But the friendly staff and clean, spacious room certainly made up for that. I liked the trade off very much and liked that I supported a local establishment. These small motels could never exist along side chains hotels and for that, I applaud Port Angeles for keeping Port Angeles Port Angeles as opposed to yet another sterile community.

Dripping tub faucet, shower head very small, shower curtain fabric with no liner allows floor to get soaked. Place is run down and needs some serious renovation.

Sufficient for our needs, convenient location, small room but noisy location due to traffic and being a bottom unit. Missing a shower head, hole in the bathroom door and a gap in flooring from room to bathroom. Parking is enough but very tight spots barely fit a standard sedan.

This property had everything found in most hotel/motel rooms. However, this property is severely dated and for the price, I felt that we had significantly overpaid. I would not recommend.

Motel was perfect for what we needed - somewhere to sleep for a few nights at an ok price. It was clean and staff was helpful. Room was small, and had amenities such as shampoo (no conditioner), body wash, coffee, fridge, microwave, and hair dryer at front desk. With all that being said - the folks of Port Angeles drive the loudest cars (and all night long). With limited lodging options in Port Angeles I would recommend this motel for the price point.

Hotel was clean, just older, a bit dated, over priced for being without air conditioning (my bad for assuming it had air conditioning) It did have window fan, upright fan, but I would prefer being able to secure both windows and door when sleeping at night.

It is obvious the owner doesn't take pride in the property, very run down. First impression was unsafe and sketchy. Toilet didn't always flush, no AC, noisy, no free breakfast. There wasn't much choice in Port Angeles. I would suggest staying in another place or go to another town.

Nice person at check in, motel was clean, and bed was confortable. In our room the wifi didn't work (cut in and out enough to be unusuable for travel directions and local business searches), the bathroom door was broken, and the TV picture was messed up. Generally good enough to sleep but needs repair.

First & second floor walk in rooms. Didn’t use a/c in August-so nice out. Super nice desk staff. Convenient to NP. Most comfortable bed in our 2-week trip!

Quite literally one of the dirtiest places I’ve ever stayed. While the options were limited in Port Angeles, I’d look elsewhere first. There was food that was left in the refrigerator from the last people, and it’s probably still there now. Tried to contact the hotel and never got anywhere. There was no shower head in the shower either. We stayed in multiple places during this trip and this was by far the worst.

LVT floors were filthy. Bring your slippers. Good luck getting anything in the icebox. Appears to not have been defrosted in years. The A/C is a portable unit vented with a hole punched thru the wall. The only redeeming quality is that it is walkable to some great restaurants.

If you're looking for housing during a summer visit to the Olympic Peninsula, this Port Angeles motel is an obvious choice. The rooms are clean, mattresses are excellent, the staff courteous and efficient. Price is its best feature. A beauty spot it's not, however. Rooms are cooled with a window fan that leaves the window open and allows road noise in unfiltered. A first-floor room is subject to whatever gymnastics are taking place in the room above. So why the "good" rating? Hotel options there are few and expensive. This one, despite the issues, is well worth your consideration.

Took ages to check in as machine wasn’t working. We had been travelling for hours and all we wanted to do was get in room. Very noisy window fans. Area would have been ok if cafes/restaurants had all been open but even though August, vast majority were closed at start of weeks and for two days we were though. Area around motel a bit sketchy and road very busy to walk along when returning from town. Not bad though for a couple of nights. No coffee in foyer though even though picture seems to indicate there is and no breakfast. This would be a big improvement as just limited to room machine.

Great location to access downtown and the waterfront. Lots of things are in walking distance. Located on a main road through town (a positive) but noisy with passing traffic at night. No central cooling. Very charming old school motel.
