The staff at this hotel are very helpful and friendly. We were impressed that our room contained a mini fridge, large flat screen tv, and microwave. The room was very well sound proofed, and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is getting an upgrade, which we're sure will give it a nice facelift. Also, it is within walking distance of a number of fast-food outlets and a mini mall, plus there is a restaurant on-site, so there are plenty of dining options. We will stay there again!

Didn't even get out of the car. Not as advertised. The hotel was under heavy construction leaving very little parking for hotel users. What was left was to tight and small. The entire building looked bad and the area unsafe. This is an example of a place that when the room renter shows up the room should be refunded fully. Youi can only cancel your booking a couple of days prior and still have to pay a fee. This hotel should be removed from your data base for sure. In circumstances like this a total refund should be offered

Terrible attitude from the staff at this location. Calling it a dump would be unfair to other dumps. Dirty, overpriced, unsafe, bathing products were non-existent!!! AVOID THIS PROPERTY!

Pictures online deceiving although they are the same. Desperately needs a paint job inside. No cup in room which has a coffee machine. No glasses for a drink of water. When cleaned no Kleenex replacement. These are small inconsequential things but pay over $300 for 2 nights that was reasonable for what we got. Place ready needs painting inside and out, all room. They could make it a little more cherrie consideration the location of this hotel, no elevator, have to walk up two sets of stairs, not senior friendly. We did not eat at the restaurant but heard many comments “the food was very good.” Thank you! We are grateful we had a roof over our heads. Carol, Debby and Beverley. The staff were very nice.

Nothing special, an average place to stay for a night or two.

Staff is personnel and helpful. We appreciate we could use the dining room for our though the dining room was closed. We ordered in pizza. Purchased a drink from the bar, staff offered to turn on the tv for us. Hotel is old, but very clean!

My stay wasn’t good because they had to come to reset the door lock for I could get in the room and no knob on the shower to run and parking is terrible and the outside looks like it’s falling apart.

The property is under a much needed renovation. Low quality finish in current rooms. Strong odor of mold in the whole building. Pool and sauna are closed. Very challenging layout for elderly and disabled. Limited hours in the dining room. Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged in the dining room, left and went elsewhere. There are gambling machines near the lobby. Staff are very nice.

This is a renovation gone bad. The place should be torn down and rebuilt. I could hear other guests 2 doors down and across the hall. The laminate floor seems to have been placed directly over old carpet and is separating. Water pressure. in shower was low and surged. No elevator. The place is as clean as it can be. The staff were fine. Its an old run down property with a poorly done lipstick renovation. It was well overpriced.

Didn’t like where the smoking area was. You had to walk through to get into the building through the area of smokers. The smokers were there even though there are several signs saying that that area was a no smoking area. Several people were standing right under the sign smoking. This is the only entrance that has a ramp that I needed to get as I cannot do stairs. My daughter is a very bad asthmatic so to walk through that smoke really set off her asthma

Breakfast was good service was quick. Manager was guick to respond to my room to try and fix the tv.howevrr they are installing anew system with Bell and were having major problems. Very apologetic. Basic room for the price. Apparently they are working on updates.

The hotel was as expected. The worst part was people roaming the halls in the middle of the night banging on doors, talking loudly, and constantly ringing the bell in the lobby. We were awoken at 2:45 am by pounding on our door and they continued being loud until 4 am. It was very difficult to sleep and no one was in the lobby to manage the situation. The outside doors remained unlocked and unmonitored so anyone could come in and walk around in the middle of the night. We did not feel safe.

This place wasn't very clean or well-maintained, but it was okay for a one-night stay when you're super tired from a long day of traveling. I would not return or recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The hotel looked questionable...the hallway looked stained and dim, but tge room was clean and tge bed and pillows were good.

The noise from the street and surrounding rooms was not conducive to a restful nights sleep.

The hotel is run down and needs a lot of TLC. I was greeted by a greasy blond hair as I entered my room and a dead bug on the floor. I removed the blankets to see hairs and crumbs on the sheets so the room was not cleaned well. Asked for another room and got the same result. Needless to say I slept in my clothes on top of the bed

Stair access was difficult. Fewer electrical outlets than needed.

Check in out was limited. 8am to 8pm where the hours at the front desk.

No Hair Dryer, A coffee Maker but no mugs to drink it with. No plug in the sink. The carpets in the hall ways and on the steps leading upstairs were dirty. The place needed some TLC for extra cleaning outside the rooms. The fridge did not work right.

If I'd taken the time to read reviews for this property I wouldn't have stayed, but I was in a rush and chose the least expensive option, and had regrets. The room was filthy, including some of the bedding. The deadbolt didn't work on the door and the window mechanism was broken so it didn't feel secure and safe. I stayed the night because I was too exhausted to find something else, but I won't be back. With the low star rating, I expected fewer amenities, not the dirtiest space I've ever stayed in. Not to mention dried bodily fluid on one of the beds. I wouldn't stay here for free.

Had a wonderful time, the staff are all very nice. The pool and such wasn’t open but under construction so big things are happening at this hotel. It’s a good location was able to get to everything easily! The beds were firm so not my favourite but my dad and brother loved it said they had a great night sleep! The front desk is very accommodating and we came a day late and they extended our stay by a day generously. I would definitely stay again and I’m looking forward to seeing business boom once all the renovations are complete!
