We loved the colonial architecture of the hotel, high ceilings and courtyard deck. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was perfect. We traveled with our two toddlers and they also had a great time!

Excellent stay. Nice rooms for me, husband and babies. Staff on point. Private parking in Leon which is perfect for security. The only thing to improve was my coffee for breakfast. Too bitter like the last part of the coffee machine.

Lovely hotel and setting in an antique building. Our room was fine, could have benefited from a fridge but other wise just fine. There is a small pool which was nice to cool down in. Breakfast was fine, there is a free offering and some paid options but we were never given a menu to choose. We didn’t try the restaurant but there is a nice bar with a tasteful pool table. Just a short walk from the main cathedral square but quiet.

Excellent staff! By far, this has been one of the best experiences I had in a hotel so far. Everybody is so welcoming, they call you by your name and everybody makes sure I was having a pleasant experience. I will be coming back for sure! Diego.

Great city in Nicaragua, lot of history and cultural events. The friendly staff specifically Mr Milton the manager . He is very knowledgeable about the places in and out Leon You must visit while exploring the city.
Amazing colonial architectural hotel and the bistro restaurant serves delicious food try tostones con queso and the delicious burgers!!!

We stayed three nights at La Perla and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful! The fact that the hotel’s architecture is so beautiful is a perk. The location is perfect and walkable (even under the rain) to the León Cathedral and main attractions.

My stay was quite comfortable. There was some work going on to the exterior of the building, but other than that, the place was very clean. I think perhaps a large floor fan in the lobby and some soft music may be a nice touch.But the staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

From beginning to end the staff was gracious, friendly, willing to help, always a smile in their face. They made us feel welcome; the hotel was always clean and organized. The room had everything you need, clean sheets and towels, hot water. The location is perfectly close to downtown, walkable, safe, clean area.

There is a free parking if you are driving.
The personnel is kind and polite.
Knowing that there is not much of a choice in Leon, this hotel is an option.

We stayed at Hotel La Perla and loved how we could walk to everything we wanted to see and do in Leon. Our room was large, beautiful and had a very comfortable bed. Check in and check out was easy. Breakfast was delicious and we especially liked our waiter Franklin…..he was always helpful with whatever we needed!

La Perla is such a old style luxurious feel in the center of the beautiful colonial city of León. The rooms and property was beautiful. The front desk agent went above and beyond by ensuring we were comfortable and taken care of. The breakfast that is included was fantastic and fresh. All the staff are absolutely incredible here and you feel like you are back in time staying here, in the best way.

We've stayed at La Perla before, and definitely would again. Great, calming boutique hotel in the center of Leon, easy walking everywhere. The hotel is really an upscale, rustic and authentic Nicaraguan experience.
