Room and hotel in general is in perfect condition and modernly decorated. They gave us free room upgrade which is wonderful. Breakfast has variety of options, even you can make your own waffle. Also, there is a library room for spending time with free coffee and tea. We are planning to stay again in soon.

Hotel is situated in the place of Basel. Trams go directly closely, Art museum is close. Urban room is elegant and cosy. Breakfast great. Very much recommended!

I had a great stay here for a week long business trip, the staff are friendly and ensure that you have a really enjoyable and stress free stay. The hotel itself has a trendy vibe but with everything you need including great breakfast, delicious food and drinks for day and evening as well. I’ll be heading back for my future trips to Basel!

Nice hotel in walking distance to the attractions and restaurants. Room is clean and comfortable. Best experience is the daily breakfast, the best I had in this region. Foods are high quality and staffs are very friendly.

The hotel could use air conditioning. A fan was provided for the room but if the weather is hotter than during our stay, the room could get very warm.

Quiet courtyard facing room. Excellent front desk. I’m not a fan of the linen duvet cover/pillows, but that’s personal preference. Note no hair conditioner, if you need that. Free water/coffee/tea on each floor. Easy walk from sbb.

It’s in a great location with 10 min walk to the train station. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is clean and there is water and coffee station in every floor which is very convenient. Will definitely stay again.

Cool, slightly quirky in a good way with cheerful and welcoming service and nice rooms. The gym is worth a visit for its stylishly wooden equipment.

Check-in was disappointing. The lady was not friendly or welcoming and didn't explain any of the services, hours, etc. The rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and service-oriented. The place was colourful, clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

Wonderful hotel. The room has lots of great storage spots and despite booking the one person room, I was impressed with the fact it fitted a small table and padded bench. Staff were also lovely and the property has a wonderful, lively atmosphere. They were also able to support my late night (flight delayed) check in by leaving my doorcard in a little lockable safe outside the entrance. Amazing.
Only minus points were hearing a low rumble of the tram every now and again, as well as hearing the neighbouring room one night. Regardless of this, I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others visiting Basel.

Nice new hotel on a quite street, near the river and walkable to the train station. Busy street around the corner - markets and restaurants galore. (But very sleepy on a Sunday - as is much of Switzerland). Top floor rooms have a nice deck and those deluxe rooms are worth the extra price. Coffee makers down the hall, with fresh fruit offered. Bar downstairs is very pricey. NOTE: I am very certain that the Nomad listed Air Conditioning as an amenity when I booked. (I always check). The listing has changed. And to be clear, the Nomad does not have Air Con. We were there when the car said it was 37.5 (99.5 F) when we pulled up. It was not welcomed to have such a hot room.

The property was a strange, quite unfinished and very much resembled a nuclear bunker. In the front tower, the beds have legs that angle outwards from the bed. I can't tell you how many times over a 2 day period that I stubbed my toes on the protruding bed legs, but it was far more than 10.

Sparkling clean, efficient modern room with the most comfortable bed of our trip! Good breakfast too. Ask in advance about parking arrangements - we parked in a very close public garage but the hotel has an arrangement with another one. Since it was full on the day we arrived, it did not matter we did not know in advance.

Cozy design hotel giving a feeling of comfort, warmth and relaxing stay. Ideal location nearby Basel SBB station (even if public transportation is free for all hotel guests in Basel). I will definitely come back. Only minus is price level in the restaurant (cocktails).

Good location, not far from the SBB train station. Easy walk to the town center and the river. Staff was very friendly and found me a room for early check-in.
Unfortunately the hotel has no air conditioning and the window only opened about 3 cm. It was unusually hot during the days I was in Basel in May. This made it impossible to sleep comfortably or even be in the room.
