A warm welcome to a perfect small hotel. Excellent air-conditioning was much appreciated! Small room but had everything we needed and a comfortable bed. The hotel does not have a lift so be careful if stairs are a problem for you.

Lovely, helful and friendly staff who spoke good english. Located close to restaurants and shopping. Room comfortable& clean. Good choice for breakfast-fruit, breads, yogurts,cereals. No elevator & wifi dropped a couple of times. Overall, thoroughly satisfied with my stay, would recommend.

This property was perfect for us and the location is great. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast very nice. Close to the old city and cathedral and near to the train and many excellent restaurants. There is no elevator and the WiFi wasn't very strong in our room which was relatively small. Bed very comfortable. The building is old ( like most things in Tours) but well maintained. It is a very nice and very affordable place to stay in an excellent location.

The front desk staff and check in were great and efficient. As we are traveling France by bicycle, the hotel provided bike storage. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was classic French style with everything being fresh and the coffee delicious. The location is perfect - quiet yet close enough to all the action. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Hotel Ronsard.

We had a nice stay while in town for a wedding. it's a well taken care of little hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. The hotel is located right in the center of town which made it easy to walk to anywhere you'd like to go for food or drinks.

The less-good: Our room was on the smaller side for two people. Our WC door was a lightly-frosted glass with the toilet ~1.5m from the bed, leaving little privacy when using the facilities. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend the hotel if you are a single traveler or you are comfortable with the level of intimacy that the room arrangement affords.

Very comfortable room, excellent location within 15 minutes walk to metro station, old town centre and other landmarks. Staff was very friendly and professional. Although there is no staff on site after 9 pm, building is very secure with only registered guests having access and we had no issues with this.

I visited the Hotel Ronsard with a friend, and we both agreed that this was one of the best two-star rated hotels we had been in. The room was small but clean and with a nice bathroom and a good view down the street. It was in a quiet street, but within walking distance of the downtown area of Tours. The stadf was very friendly and helpful with tips and advice of the area, both in french and english. We were lucky with parking on the street, but the hotel also has additional parking available upon request. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but for room, cleanliness, service and location, I can only highly recommend this hotel.

Easy to walk to everything in town like cathedral, tapestry, cafes and restaurants. A long walk to the train station but doable. Easy to get a taxi.
