I stay at Meriton Suites often when I travel for work around the country but this was my first time staying at the Adelaide Street one. The location was ideal for both my business meetings and also for the riverside food and entertainment areas. Price for a 2.bedrooom apartment was very reasonable and had all the amenities required for a self catering business stay.

Spacious and clean room. Reasonably close to most landmarks in Brisbane

Absolutely fantastic stay, got up to our room with gorgeous views of Brisbane city. Parking was very convenient. Room was immaculate and comfortable. The staff were lovely, check in process was smooth and we felt very welcome and accommodated. Absolutely will be making this our go to hotel for our Brisbane city trips

Staff were wonderful. Check-in a breeze.
The apartment is showing its age. The toilet roll holder fell off upon first use. The bottom of the bathroom door is swollen from water damage. There were someone's hairs on the bath.
When about to got to bed at night we pulled the sheets down to find a rather large patch of mold in the middle of the bed. We called housekeeping and they attended, changing the bottom sheet, they were about to leave and we had to request they also changed the top sheet. The next morning there was a knock at the door at 9:10, housekeeping to clean the room. Nearly an hour before checkout. Really?

We had a single bedroom apartment. The apartment was comfortable, clean and spacious, with good full kitchen facilities. The bathroom sink was blocked, but the hotel fixed this promptly. Overall a comfortable & enjoyable stay.

The shower area was unsatisfactory. A white powder substance was located on the shower base/ floor - indicating the shower had not been cleaned. The outside waterproof seal around the shower frame required repairing. The air vent from the ceiling was actually sitting on the top of the shower frame. A used coffee pod was sitting inside the coffee
machine. So overall the cleanliness of the shower was most disappointing!

Reception staff were really helpful and thank you to Kathy for getting us an early check in she was so friendly and kind. All staff were. Will be back.

I thought I booked a high floor with a view, instead I was placed on the 4th floor with a view of the roadway.

Great apartment close to HS Wharves, so no problems with dining or river transport. Walkable to all points of the city. Efficient, pleasant check in and all amenities in room in very good order. Would certainly come back

When arriving at the hotel a foul smell was noticeable inside the room and on the corridor leading to the room. The kitchen area and cooking facility’s were dirty. Informed reception of this and asked to move rooms but this was denied. A cleaner attended the room and sprayed some air freshener which hid the smell for a short period but this soon returned. A disappointing stay as have found Meriton hotels to be of a very high standard when staying in other hotels.

All the aircons in the apartment were noisy as, they look like they hadn't been cleaned in 12 months a bit rancid for the amount you pay each night

I just wasn't that impressed for a building of this caliber and amenities. The furniture was nice granted, but I was put on the 3rd floor and it was very noisy. In addition, the bathroom was not great - the shower door broken. I did not like the carpet. The hallways smelled. Just not my idea of "luxury".

Location was nice, close to stores, but no store in hotel. Room was nice & clean. Love having a fridge & microwave. Paying for parking was expensive. Love the pool and hot tub tho.

It was all pretty good with a great cafe(s) and a supermarket right next to the hotel. There were some weird maintenance issues like the hot and cold water were reversed in my apartment but, overall, it was excellent.

There floor was not cleaned properly, there was hair on the kettle.
Bathroom was mouldy & no plug to be found to use bath tub.
The room itself had a musty smell.
The sauna was out of order

Hotel is in a great location and all amenities. Two elements to work on - reception staff could politely advise of wait times when needing their assistance rather than just ignoring guests and standing there doing nothing. Also please bring back the face towels, I don’t want to have to use a hand towel to wash my face!
