Just back from a week at Hotel Soothe. Staff cannot do enough for you. Hotel is spotless and in a beautiful position - will definitely return.

Perfect hotel for our holiday. We stayed in the penthouse apartment. The views were spectacular, the pool area perfect and the position and distance to town and beach clubs was great. It was an excellent hotel for the price and great value. A couple of small things weren’t perfect - the rooms and furniture were quite basic and a few things needed fixing and the breakfast was average, but completely to be expected for the price we paid and not an issue. Would definitely return. Kalkan was amazing for adults and our teenage kids

I stayed at Soothe Hotel for 10 days out of season during May half term with my 2 young sons. From initial correspondence after booking, right through to our departure, all the staff we met during our time were incredibly friendly, and helpful, especially Iram on reception and the gents at breakfast who even took it upon themselves to entertain and feed my 1 year old! We were very fortunate to pretty much have the place to ourselves. The hotel was spotless thanks to the team of smiley women who cleaned daily, breakfast buffet was simple but tasty, rooms were very comfortable with amazing views of the bay and the different pool options and playground offered perfect facilities for our little family. It is a schlep into the centre when you have littles but a very pleasant walk and we were very happy to be tucked away. There are plenty of restaurants closer by and a shop if you want to keep it teqlly local.
Thank you for helping to make our 1st trip to Turkey so smooth and relaxing and to all the team for your knowledge and help with car hire and transfers. We'd definitely book again.

A cute hotel close to the sea. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful to guests which was great. The breakfast was average, nothing outstanding. It felt like the choose quantity over quality and I lacked the Turkish breakfast as I know it. In addition to that they played really loud music at 11.30 in the night that we could hear very clearly in our room even if we were several floors below. I appreciate music at hotels, however it should never be so loud that it actually disturbs guests that are trying to sleep. When giving this feedback, they instantly lowered the music which we appreciated a lot. It was a good stay for the two days we spent in Kalkan.

The breakfast was horrible, the worst coffee in the world, service very bad and empty plates at buffet. Rooms very small, shower the smallest you can imagine, the beach club is not, a few sunbeds full and rocks. The water at swimming pool was hot. A lot of stairs...

What a wonderful place! Incredible balcony view overlooking the sea, amazing club beach and the pool filled with the sea water! Kind and very helpful staff, sweet ambience, we are definitely coming back:)

Soothe hotel is at a great location, walking distance to two wonderful beach clubs.The rooms are clean and comfy. There are some restaurants, cafes, and bars in walking distance as well, if you don’t feel like going into town. Highly recommend!!

Great levels of cleanliness. The staff were amazing, very attentive and always with the customer in mind. The location of the hotel was also amazing, we chose a sea view room and we weren’t disappointed, it was a gorgeous view to wake up to everyday! The breakfast was also very good. We really loved our stay at Soothe hotel in Kalkan.

The location of the hotel was also amazing, we chose a sea view room and we weren’t disappointed, it was a gorgeous view to wake up to everyday! The breakfast was also very good. Nice hotel for a cozy holiday. Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and well maintained, food is fresh and well prepared. View from the terrace is wonderful and the beach is nice. Me and my wife were very happy with our stay there.

Very strange hotel, it was so empty there was no atmosphere, no music, no warmth to the place. Its like being back at school walking down corridors! Place needs alot of love and updating. We paid £80 and very disappointed. We could of stayed somewhere for less money and a better building.The staff are very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was delicious.Pool was a clean, sea water pool with a bar.Bedroom reasonable size and comfy bed

The hotel was very nice if not a little dated, very clean with well proportioned rooms and excellent pool area with bar, there was a nice breakfast balcony over looking the sea and another bar area on another balcony where you can sit and have lunch and a drink, it sits on a steep hill where you would need to walk up for the nearest restaurants and down to the beach club but a little bit of exercise helps keep all the wonderful food off your hips.

This older style hotel is very quirky with the feel of an old liner,with different levels.Art deco styling with nice comfortable seating.A very nice large swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers.

They have an arrangement with the Kulube beach club, which is very nice and low key. And hotel is only five minutes walk to the Kalamar Beach club which is a slicker operation, with good services and access to lots of activities. Otherwise just chill by the hotel pool. Reception will call a taxi to take you into town, for 30-25TL, or you can easily walk if it’s not too hot. Evening buffet available by prebooking, and there is a nice restaurant right opposite the hotel.We had a very nice time here, and highly recommend it.

What we liked about the hotel was that there was a lot of Turkish people staying we were the only English probably because it had not had many reviews . Some of the staff spoke English they were all very polite and helpful . The breakfast was fresh and plenty full with a big selection. The pool was clean and of a good size . The rooms were clean and fresh towels every day . It is slightly out of the main town down a steep hill so if you have any disability it maybe a problem.We would definitely stay again .

Expedia advertised this hotel with 'free airport transfer ' with the hotel, after weeks of emailing hotel & Expedia trying to arrange this transfer was told by hotel that they don't do transfers , but they could arrange 1 for us if we wanted, more expense for us , part of reason we decided on this hotel, knowing cost of transfers Arrived at hotel midnight, staff on reception didn't speak any English, owner from opposite hotel was there to translate. Staff in general didn't speak much English even though it was in the hotel infomation on Expedia that they did. Mainly Turkish guests there, we were the only English couple there. Hotel itself is lovely, newly refurbished, large double bed, there is a basic mini bar in room , no price list and no hotel info - breakfast times ect. Pool clean, steps leading into shallow end for those with mobility problems. Unfortunately would not revisit or recommend for those reasons
