Stayed here for one night on our way to Koh Lanta. Everything was really good except the lobby - it smells of perfume, air spray with "pleasant smell" which also fouled the air in the breakfast room. Unfortunately, this is something very common in many hotels, not just Novotel, and it is spreading fast. Unacceptable for allergy sufferers and not good for anyone, especially not those who work all day at the reception. It is a potential health hazard! Please remove all airspray (also in the restrooms) and we will come back!

Each of the floors had plenty of space when getting out of the elevators. That was excellent. Unfortunately there was no furniture on many floors to take advantage of the spaces to sit down and relax outside the rooms

I loved everything about this property. The staff was so clear & helpful in every way. There were different excursions and brochures for adventures to be apart of. The restaurant was available and delicious. The rooms are spacious and clear. There are amenities available & the property was safe. 10/10.

We wanted to explore the city life of Phuket, we feel this was the best property to do so. Walking distance to old town and parks. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The facility is very clean. We would come back.

The exterior and the lobby look great. Not to mention our room was upgraded upon arrival and there was a nice warm welcoming inside the room. One of the two elevators was out of service which was kind of a drag since we were on floor 11. The room had some things about it that were unpleasant to the eyes. A few stains on the chairs and some on the walls. The bathroom was great and overall the room stay was good.

Good points - reception and dining hall were beautiful. Room was fair but showing signs of wear and tear and could have done with a proper deep clean. Pool area was disappointing and would benefit from a bit of staging.
The areas between the lifts and the rooms were nothing short of bleak and really need some art/plants , general dressing.
We booked two nights here via Expedia for two adults and a 14 year old and specified her age. On arrival our room had one king size bed which all three of us were expected to sleep in.
The hotel were going to charge us extra to put another bed in the room but it would have been too cramped so we ended up booking another adjoining room.
The hotel is okay for the price and fine for a couple of nights but it is not 5 star by any stretch of the imagination. The staff are wonderful though

Staff were friendly and professional and went the extra mile to prepare chocolates for our honeymoon. The location is slightly further from old town but walkable (15min). We'd highly recommend staying here when visiting old town!

Showed me 3 different rooms and each one had a horrible smell in them. The lift is in major need of renovation too, the reception area is the best bit about the hotel. I refused to stay and argued them into a refund and moved to Ramada up the road.

Novotel hotel is a nice hotel, but the surroundings was not great, abandon buildings, just looked runned down.
We ordered a family suite, and got two connecting ordinary rooms, which in my opinion is not a suite.
Hotel staff was amazing, smiling helpful, even a concierge how went around checking that everybody had a good time.
The pool was located under a roof, so that the sun could not warm it up, the pool where there for some what cold.
Fitness room was small, but had everything you need for a good work out, unfortunately if you work out around 7 am, the water bottle in the room which are free will be warm, at least that was my experience.
The breakfast buffet was great had, nice fruit and hot meals.

The hotel was really clean and the room had everything we needed (fridge with water, toiletries, coffee/tea making). The bed was comfy and huge, staff were friendly and very helpful - sorted out transfer for us. Breakfast had a good variety of different cuisines and lots of fresh fruit. Location was handy for us being near Rassada pier. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel to stay while your in Phuket city. 15 minute walk to the old town and lots of shops close by. Very modern with good breakfast. We stayed for 3 days after being in a resort which allowed us to do some shopping before heading home.

Great hotel in nice area, close to big shoppingcenter.. Fantastic breakfast with big mix of different food. Probably the best breakfast of all hotels i visit. All staff very friendly. Nice pool on floor 29 with a great view over Rayong. Room is big, Bed is very comfortable. Perfect cleaning of room and all other places.

Breakfast though was a great selection. Hotel car park was closed and had to park on the driveway outside the entrance. Luckily only 1 other car there.
