I would stay again if in San Marcos

it took over an hour to check in to my room because of a computer issue it was after 1AM when i got to my room

Just a fair warning. Expedia states the breakfast is $7. It is not its $12 for adults and $8 for kids under 10. It was decent but not worth $12.

Clean and inviting

Beautiful place, it just had a ceiling leak in the lobby. Hope they took care of it already. I'm sure they did. Love the pool area and the coffee shop. They offer breakfast.

Overall great customer service and the room was very clean and comfortable and the A/C COOLED THE ROOM PERFECTLY. Had a good night sleep 100 percent.

Worst staff ever. Kendall ruined our experience from day one. The only kind people were an older lady at breakfast one day and the housekeeping staff. They were out of almost all food and beverage products we ordered.

The stay was great, the turnaround on compensation for the hotels error has been disappointing. I was billed twice one was over charged, the second was correct. Have not seen my payment back yet. Took seconds for the money to be drawn from my account, and here we are almost a week later and no refund. Not too happy.

Nice hotel close to Texas State University

The air condition did not work properly. We were in room 312 and it was hot. I set the AC to 60 degrees and it was still warm.

The area was ideal, right near the highway for the purpose of our trip. The hotel is older but that wasn’t the problem. The room was not cleaned very well. For example, the shower had long hair all along the shower walls. The faucet in the bathroom was very loose and the sink was barely cleaned. Also, the door to the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The beds were questionable but we tried to make the most of the trip and weren’t in the rooms too long. The service wasn’t that great either. On the first morning there, we participated in the breakfast buffet. A lady came and gave us a ticket with one child and one adult. The next morning, there was a different lady (a lady with red hair) who was not friendly. She kept taking my son’s plates when he’d go get juice. And when she gave me the bill (I didn’t eat), she charged me for two adults. When I mentioned what the lady charged the previous day, she asked me who old my son was (14) and she said that’s an adult. At the moment, I told my son that we would not be eating there anymore because of how she made us feel. We won’t be back to this hotel unless there are no other options for the timeframe needed…I do want to note that Chloe at the front desk was the ONLY person who provided exceptional service for our short interaction. She was attentive and very pleasant. Chloe was the positive in our stay there.

Worst experience ever well, not recommend it to. Nobody went through a very bad experience.

Elevators were super slow. Only had one operating on a busy weekend.
